I received the call immediately, “Hello, Caleb?”
But an extremely worried voice of Caleb came from the other side of the phone, “Stefan? Brother? There is an emergency…!”

Riven’s POV:
“What happened, Riven? Have you seen a ghost?” Kevin asked with a chuckle.
“Her touch…. It felt… familiar..!” I replied in barely a whisper.
I was completely stunned. I didn’t know how to react. How can it feel so familiar?
“What?” Kevin nearly shouted in astonishment.
Honestly, I expected such a reaction from him.
“Whose touch felt familiar?” He added in a concerned voice.
“Henna Kim! When I grabbed her hand to remove my tie from her hand, I felt like I had touched her before. It was quite familiar. Too familiar for a person I have only met twice in my entire life”, I replied in a confused tone.
“Well, Riven, she has touched you before” Kevin replied in a casual tone.
“When?” I asked in shock.
“Don’t you remember? This year, on Erica’s birthday, we went to this club. She grabbed your tie that day too and then you jerked off her hand. You touched her that day too. How can you not remember that? Erica and Henna almost caused a scene there”, Kevin replied in a frustrated tone.
“Yeah, I remember it! Erica wanted to rip her hand off her body. They almost had a fight” I said, while nodding my head when I remembered the entire incident at the club.
“See, you remember it now”, Kevin replied with a smile when he proved his point and began to turn around, but I held his arm to stop him.
“But you are not understanding, Kevin. It felt quite familiar for a person I have touched only once in my lifetime” I still persisted.
“Riven, my brother, you are an Alpha, your abilities are much heightened than others. Even if you touch a person once, you remember it. That’s the reason you found her touch familiar. It’s not a big deal. Stop overthinking about everything, bro”, Kevin replied in a nonchalant tone while holding my shoulders.
“Yeah, I guess you were right. I was overthinking”. I nodded in agreement and smiled back at him.
Deep inside, I still feel like it was way too familiar, but I think Kevin is right. Since this matter with Giselle and Erica this morning, I can’t help but overthink.
I hope Giselle is okay and she will forgive me soon.
“Now, don’t think too much and concentrate on this meeting and please don’t talk rudely to Henna in front of Mr. Kim, okay? This deal is really important to us”, he asked in a concerned voice.
“Yeah, I will be nice” I replied, smiling.
He smiled back and patted my shoulder. Suddenly, Kevin’s cell phone rang again.
“It’s Caleb…”

Giselle’s POV:
We were just done with our time together. I was glad that I was able to satisfy Stefan. Stefan is the most kind soul I have ever met.
My whole life, I thought he was a Casanova and a bad guy, but his generosity and kind nature has proven me entirely wrong. He is the most understanding person ever.
I didn’t know so much energy would be utilized in satisfying him. I was beyond exhausted, hence, I fell on the bed next to him.
My eyes were slowly closing on their own. Sleep was about to consume me when I heard Stefan’s cell phone ringing again.
Who the hell is calling him again and again?
Is it Riven? Did he do something stupid? No, Kevin is with him. He won’t let him do anything wrong.
Then what is it? It must be something important.
“I think you should really take this call”, I told him while getting up from bed.
It was the same unknown number I saw earlier. I handed him his phone and slept next to him. I kept my head on his chest while wrapping my arm around his waist. Stefan wrapped one hand around me.
The moment he got his cell phone in his hand, the call ended. He was calling the same number again when he received the call from our little brother.
This time, he received the call immediately, “Hello, Caleb?”
“Stefan? Brother? There is an emergency!” Caleb spoke worriedly from the other side of the phone.
“Why? What happened, Caleb?” Stefan asked calmly.
“Mother! Mother..!!” Caleb spoke in barely a whisper.
“What happened to my mother?” I asked in a frightened tone.
“Calm down, love”, Stefan caressed my back gently.
“What happened to Vera? Is she okay?” Stefan asked in a concerned tone.
“Mother had a heart attack!” Caleb replied in an almost crying voice.
“WHAT???!!”
