NOOOOO! GISELLE!!

Book:My Triplet Alpha Stepbrother Mates Published:2024-6-2

Stefan’s POV:
“What? What is it?” Giselle asked hurriedly.
Before Natalie could reply, I looked at Giselle with eyes wider than the full moon.
“Giselle, how do you know about foxes?” I was so curious that I couldn’t help but ask on the spot.
“I will tell you everything later”,, She replied in a nervous tone and focused her complete attention on the phone.
“How can we differentiate between foxes and other creatures?” She asked in an eager tone.
“There is a spell. That spell can force those filthy creatures to come into their original form and they can’t take anyone else’s form until the next full moon”, Natalie informed us.
“Wow! My witch can do that spell for me!” Giselle replied in an excited tone.
“What wow? It’s a dark spell. If I am caught, I will be punished by my own coven!” Natalie groaned in frustration.
“That means you are not going to do it for me? Our friendship means nothing to you now?” Giselle asked in a fake sad voice.
“Of course, I am going to do it for you, Silly. Stop being a drama queen! I hope these mates of yours are treating you well. I won’t take such risk for their pack if they don’t deserve you. Or maybe I will turn them into monkeys”, Natalie said angrily.
I saw Giselle cursing under her breath.
Woah! She is actually really protective of her. She wants to turn us into monkeys!
I narrowed my eyes at Giselle, who smiled hesitantly.
“That won’t be needed, Nate. They really treat me well. Just memorize and practice that spell, love. I will call you later. Thanks to you, I have a lot of explaining to do. Bye, take care”, Giselle said in a hurried voice.
“Bye, you too take care”. As soon as Natalie replied, Giselle disconnected the call.
“Monkeys?” I asked her while folding my hands on my chest.
“She is just too protective. She is my only friend”, Giselle replied while scratching the back of her head nervously.
In normal conditions, I wouldn’t have let go of this topic so easily, but right now my main focus was something else.
“How do you know about foxes, Giselle?” I asked while looking directly into her eyes.
“Caleb told me. Unlike my secretive mates, Caleb really means it when he says I am his family”. She replied honestly and even rewarded me with a taunt.
“It’s dangerous to know about foxes, Giselle. I will make sure Caleb goes through…” I began to vent my anger but Giselle didn’t let me finish my statement.
“Don’t even pretend that I told you about this. You won’t do anything to Caleb. He is the reason we are together” She replied in an ice cold voice.
“How?” I asked with a raised eyebrow.
“Because if I was still thinking about the reason behind Riven’s not c*ming that night, I might have rejected everyone by now after what Riven did this morning” she replied, and by looking in her eyes, I could tell she was speaking the truth.
“Giselle..” I made a failed attempt to talk but stopped when she sealed our lips for a peck.
She moved back, looked straight into my eyes and spoke, “I am impatient when it comes to people I love, Stefan. I take rash decisions. When I give my hundred percent, I expect a hundred percent from you as well.”
“Okay, I understand. Sorry that we hid the truth, but you did a really great job asking for Natalie’s help. She can help us fight with those foxes” I said in a serious tone.
“Hope so and I also hope she won’t get caught!” She replied in a worried tone.
“Don’t worry, I will make sure her name won’t be revealed anywhere. Give me Natalie’s number. I think I must need her help in case I need to keep a protective barrier around you” I added, when the thought of a witch’s magic could do wonders came to mind.
“Stefan, you started again with someone is going to attack me stuff?” She looked at me with disbelief.
“Giselle, I am just worried about you. My grandfather also made one barrier for my grandma, but our trustworthy coven witches left the town years ago due to some personal issues”. I informed her and continued,
“Giselle, please understand my concern. Please let me call her. I will invite her to our pack house and request her to make a protective barrier around you so that nobody will be able to harm you”, I said in a pleading tone while holding both of her hands.
“Fine. I am sending you her number, but don’t worry, you are here for me. Nobody can harm me when I am with you”, she said in a polite voice while cupping my face.
“Thank you for trusting me, Love”, I replied with a smile before kissing her forehead.
“So, I am the flirty Greek God, huh?” I asked her with a teasing smirk.
“Don’t start with it!” Giselle replied in an annoyed tone and let go of me.
“Looks like this Greek God has to teach you a lesson”, I said while pulling her against my chest.
“No, Stefan, listen…!” Before she could say anything, I held her above ground bridal style and threw her into the water.
I laughed loudly when she fell into the water.
Soon, my laugh disappeared when she was struggling in the water.
“Stef! Help! Stefan!! Stefan! STEFAN!! HELP! I don’t know how to…” She screamed, her voice was shaking.
She was unable to keep her head above the water surface even after struggling so much.
I was stunned for a moment but then I jumped right behind her into the lake. When I came up to the surface, Giselle was not around.
I swam deep inside the lake, looking for Giselle, but I couldn’t find her anywhere.
I cursed myself for being such a maniac for throwing her into the lake without asking if she even knew how to swim!
“Giselle? GISELLE? WHERE ARE YOU? SHIT!” I shouted in worry.
My heart was thudding against my chest. My body began to shake in fear of losing her.
I searched for her in the entire damn lake, but she was nowhere to be found.
“NO! NO! NOOOOO! GISELLE!!”
