I was looking for love in the wrong place!

Giselle’s POV:
“I have given you enough time, Stefan! I can’t handle it anymore. I am sorry. You left me with no choice”, I said in a pleading tone, and removed his hands from mine.
The pain was unbearable for me. I can’t just stand that someone’s ex girlfriend will come and show me my place in their life and my mate won’t say a word from my side. This is not the relationship I was looking for!
I feel like I was looking for love in the wrong place!
Stefan’s pleading eyes were melting my heart but the pain Riven was giving me surpassed it. Also, none of them trusted me with Riven’s secret. This is not how a relationship works!
With a heavy heart, I began to speak, “I, Giselle Swan, the member of the Silver Moon pack, rejects the Triplet Alphas…”
Before I could complete the rejection by taking their name and their pack’s name, a giant palm covered my mouth.
“What the hell do you think you are doing, Giselle?” I saw Kevin right in front of me with his palm pressed tightly around my mouth. His face was full of worry.
“Thank God, you came on time, brother. She was out of control!” Stefan said, and took a deep sigh of relief while keeping his hand on his chest.
“Why are you doing this to us, Giselle? Don’t you like us?” Kevin asked in a low, disappointed tone.
I removed Kevin’s hand from my mouth and pushed him behind.
“You saw what Riven did with me! I don’t blame him for his ex-girlfriend coming here, but he should have rejected her and taken my side. Instead, he held her hand and took her away from us, right in front of my own freaking eyes! Do you know how I felt when my mate held someone else’s hand in front of me? Do you still want to ask me why I am doing it?” I asked in an aggressive tone.
“What is our fault in that, Giselle? Why were you rejecting the three of us? What did Stefan and I do wrong with that? We are trying our best to persuade you! Do we really deserve your rejection?” Kevin asked in a broken voice. He looked like he was on the verge of bursting into tears.
I glanced at him and then Stefan, who had copy paste expression of their faces. Their eyes were demanding answers and I had none.
They were right. What I was doing was wrong. I shouldn’t have dragged Stefan and Kevin in this. They did nothing wrong. They tried their best to make me smile. They did everything in their power to make me happy! I was so selfish!
I was making a decision in haste. Stefan and Kevin do not deserve this rejection.
Kevin was at least mean to me at first but Stefan, he had done literally nothing to harm me till this date! Although he smirks at me creepily every time we meet, but right now, his creepy smirk also looks cute to me.
I am such an idiot. Thank God, he stopped me on time. Otherwise, I would never have been able to forgive myself for that.
“I am sorry, Kevin, Stefan. I made a decision in a hurry. I didn’t mean to hurt you, but I was hurt after seeing Riven taking her away like I meant nothing to him”, I said with teary eyes.
“It’s okay, Giselle. We understand you. We are sorry for what Riven did!” Kevin said while wiping my tears and then patted my head.
“Anyone would have been hurt in your place, but please don’t talk about rejection again”, Stefan added in an understanding tone and he even smiled at me.
“Yeah, you gave us a minor heart attack!” Kevin replied while keeping his hand on his chest.
They are still being understanding towards my reaction, but the fact that they don’t really trust me was killing me. I knew I wouldn’t be able to act normally until I told them the truth, hence I decided to speak.
“But I have a complaint from you both too,” I said plainly.
Stefan and Kevin looked at me worriedly. They looked like they were preparing themselves for another heart attack.
“What is it? Did we lack efforts at pleasuring you?” Stefan tried his flirting technique to calm me down but it had no effect on me today.
“Stefan!” Both Kevin and I shouted in unison.
“Okay, sorry. Please tell us, we will try to learn from our mistake”, Stefan replied with a cute chuckle and scratched the back of his head.
“You guys are hiding secrets from me! Secrets about Riven and his condition, also, secrets about your pack. Don’t you think you should at least trust your mate that much?” I asked and looked at them with eyes full of sorrow.
“Did someone tell you?” Stefan asked in astonishment.
“Was it Caleb?” As always, Smart Kevin guessed it right.
……………..
Riven’s POV:
“Let’s go outside”. I removed her palms from my cheeks, held her arm and dragged her out of the house.
I took her towards the lake so that Giselle wouldn’t be able to see her and feel bad. I hate to hurt her. Not long ago, I hated this girl for coming to our pack and fighting for the position of Luna and now, I can’t see a single tear in her eyes.
What is happening to me? I don’t know anything else except I won’t personally do anything which could hurt my Giselle.
“What are you doing here, Erica?” I asked in a demanding tone while folding my hands on my chest.
“I came here because I missed you”, Erica said while taking a step towards me.
I took a step back and narrowed my eyes at her before speaking coldly, “Erica, we both know that you are not that innocent! You came here for a different reason!”
“Fine! I came here because I got to know that you have found your mate and you are here with her”, Erica shouted in anger.
“And you came here to destroy it for us!” I growled out of fury.
“Of course! I can’t just let her steal you!” She shouted and grabbed my collar.
“She is not stealing me, I am already hers!”
