As soon as Kevin opened the door, I heard an unfamiliar but sweet voice of a female,
“Hey, Kevin. Is Riven here?”
“Erica…?” left Riven’s mouth as he recognized her voice immediately.

Stefan’s POV:
I heard a damn familiar voice of none other than the devil herself. I couldn’t understand why she is here? Isn’t that supposed to be a bonding trip between mates? Then why is this uninvited b*tch doing here?
Her coming here can never be a good sign! This will only weaken Riven and Giselle’s relationship as well as mine and Kevin’s too, because the three of us are bonded together.
I had no idea what I should do to make things better and now, this sl*t will make things worse for everyone.
“Erica Blossom?” escaped Giselle’s mouth in barely a whisper, but I heard it as I was standing right next to her. She sounded so confused like she didn’t want to believe that.
I looked around and saw Kevin, Erica and Riven were busy while staring at each other in shock.
Giselle must be in shock as well. She might be hurt too. I am really worried about her right now. I don’t know what to do to make her feel good. I am so not in the mood to let this sh*t named Erica Blossom ruin our relationship with our sweet and innocent mate.
I glanced towards Giselle who was still looking at Erica like a kid who is looking at the person who stole her favorite toy and Erica was in the process of stealing one of her mates.
“Yes, she is Erica Blossom, Riven’s ex girlfriend” I whispered in her ear.
Giselle didn’t reply to me. She was just standing next to me, completely numb. I felt like she was on the verge of crying.
No matter how hard I try to make her happy, some or the other things always destroy it for us.
When I was about to speak, I saw Erica running towards Riven like a drama queen and hugged him tightly.
My poor brother was so shocked that he didn’t even respond. He just stood there like a mannequin.
“Riven, my baby! I missed you so much!” She said while choking Riven in her tight hug.
“I went to your pack house but they told me that you were coming here. So, I followed you” She said in her fake emotional tone and her crocodile tears began to fall on her cheeks.
‘Of course, you did!’ I fought the urge to eye roll on her face.
“Riven, everyone is saying that you found your mate. They said you came here to spend time with your mate!” She finally let go of Riven to hold his shoulder while she cried loudly.
“But she is your stepsister, right? She is not your mate, right? Who is your mate then? Tell me that you don’t like your mate and you are not going to accept her? Promise me!” She said while cupping Riven’s face and forcing him to accept her words.
I saw Giselle’s back stiffen when Erica said the last statement. Her eyes became teary and her face turned red.
I held Giselle’s hand and intertwined our fingers. She began to calm a little but the pain was evident on her face.
“Say something, Riven! Tell me everything is a lie!” Erica shouted this time while showcasing her nonstop crocodile tears.
I was so angry that I wanted to rip both of their throats apart. These two weird creatures were causing pain to my Giselle and I just couldn’t handle it.
I was about to give her my peace of mind, but to my surprise, my dear brother decided to break the silence on the mater.
“No, it’s not a lie!” Riven said in his signature ice cold voice.
This is the first time I heard him talking to her coldly. He always argues with her and sometimes, even shouts at her when her nagging becomes unbearable, but this is the first time he was so cold.
Erica shivered in fear and her eyes widened in astonishment. The color of her face vanished when she spoke, “What?”
Riven removed her hands from his cheeks and spoke in a calm but cold voice, “Yes, you heard it right. I have found my mate. My stepsister, Giselle Swan, is my mate”
“But.. you can’t just leave me like this”, Erica said aggressively while holding the collar of his shirt.
“Didn’t you hear him? He said he had found his mate. Now, get lost and don’t disturb my brother again.” I commanded in anger, letting lose my Alpha aura.
But the b*tch completely ignored me and turned towards Riven.
“Riven, you love me. You can’t do this with me! You always said you would reject your mate and come back to me if you ever find her! Reject her! I am your Erica, Riven. Please reject her!” She fake pleaded while shaking him.
Riven didn’t speak for a while. He just stood there silently rethinking his life choices but I know his silence must be having a profound effect on Giselle’s heart as the tears began to fall on her cheeks.
Now, I seriously want to kill these two. I don’t know why Kevin is not saying anything! He is the oldest. He should kick her out right at that instant.
Erica took another step towards him, leaving literally no space between them, and cupped his face again.
“Riven, I know you love me. We have broken up so many times but you always come back to me. You won’t be able to live without me as I won’t be able to live without you either. Don’t let this mate sh*t get to your head. Just reject her and we can be together again”, She said in a whisper while caressing his cheeks.
Why is this statue of a Greek God not saying anything??? At least say that you won’t reject your mate, you idiot! You are breaking my Giselle’s heart, you b*stad!
Is he a mute?
“Let’s go outside”. He removed her palms from his cheeks, held her arm and dragged her out of the house.
My poor Giselle couldn’t handle the pain anymore as she stormed out of the living room to run towards her room.
“You are an a*shole!” I shouted before following Giselle to her room.
Giselle was about to shut the door but I held it.
“Stefan, please, leave me alone!” She said in a painful voice.
“No, love. I can’t leave you alone. I know you are hurt. This is not how things were supposed to turn out. This is not the trip I planned”, I said while opening the door completely.
Giselle covered her face in the palm of her hands and burst into tears.
I went towards her and hugged her but she moved back.
“Giselle, give some time to Riven. He will come back” I said in a pleading voice. I can’t see her in pain like this.
“I don’t want to! I have had enough of him, enough of you all! At first, you guys didn’t tell me your secrets! And now, his ex is here? Do you even accept me as your mate?” She shouted while pulling her hair in frustration.
I held her hand and stopped her from hurting herself.
“Every single time I have to force you to tell me something important! This is not how relationships work! There should be love, respect and trust!” She slapped my hands away and burst into tears.
I felt my heart breaking just seeing her tears.
“I should have known I was not that lucky! I should have known that if I was unable to satisfy Tyler, I wouldn’t be able to handle three mates! Three Alphas! How can I ever be able to satisfy three mates?? I am not even that beautiful. Why are you with me?” She asked in a broken tone.
I cupped her face and wiped her tears before making her look directly in my eyes.
“Giselle, stop self-degrading yourself! I love you. I am in love with you!” I confessed the feelings I was hiding in my heart.
I knew it was not the right time, but if those three magical words can make my Giselle feel good for even seconds, I have to say it.
“The way you guys are reacting these days and keeping secrets. It only sounds like empty words to me now. I can’t handle more pain. Let’s just reject each other and get it done with!” She wiped her tears before removing my hands.
“No Giselle, give us some time” I nearly begged her while holding both of her hands.
“I have given you enough time, Stefan! I can’t handle it anymore. I am sorry. You left me with no choice”, she said in a pleading tone, and removed my hands from hers.
