I was about to ask him again but he slammed his lips on mine before saying, “I want you…”
Kevin’s POV:
I was shocked when I heard Giselle had a boyfriend yesterday, but then she proved to us last night that she is not interested in any guy other than us.
I have always had a crush on her since we were teenagers. I always felt the attraction towards her, but when she came to stay at our pack house, I felt this profound attraction like I was going to die if I won’t be with her.
My heart was going to explode when I found out that she was our mate. I was beyond happy; it was a dream come true moment for me.
At first, I hated the fact that she is all of our mates. I wanted her all for myself because Stefan and Riven were not interested in her in the beginning, but then I found out that Stefan and Riven were also attracted to her.
Also, she is the only one who can take the decision and if she wants us all, she will get us all as her mates and I am going to support her every single decision.
I was surprised when Giselle told us in the morning that she still couldn’t differentiate between us just by listening to our voices. Thank God that she can at least recognize us by looking at our faces. I don’t want to be punished in Riven’s place.
After breakfast, we had small interactions every now and then. Even though she has three mates, she still manages her time well.
Giselle and I were walking near the lake and talking about her likes and dislikes when I got a call from my dad.
I told her that I would receive it later, but she still insisted that it must be something urgent otherwise Alpha Riley wouldn’t have called me during the break.
I asked her what she would do in the meantime, as Riven had locked himself in the room to avoid Giselle and Stefan was working on his laptop.
She told me that she would call her father also. Hence, I guided her to her room and went towards my own room to call my father.
I dialed his number and he received my call immediately. Judging by how instantly he received my call, I could tell something was extremely urgent.
“Hello, Dad?” I said when he received the call.
“Kevin, my son. I am sorry to disturb you on your week off but I need your help”, Dad said in a hurried voice.
“Yes, dad. What happened? Is everything okay? How’s Vera?” I asked hurriedly in a worried tone.
“Vera is okay and everyone else is okay as well. I just wanted to tell you that you need to come back for two days. There is an important client I need you to handle” Dad didn’t beat around the bushes and, came directly to the point.
“But dad! I am on my first vacation with my mate. Can’t we delay this meeting for a week?” I asked in a disappointed tone.
“It’s the Kims of the Blue Desert. It was our dream to make a Resort on that land. Mr. Kim is coming with his wife and daughters, and I can only trust you with such an important client, my son”, Dad said in a serious tone.
“Why can’t Stefan handle it? He is the one who takes care of the clients from the west”, I asked in a stubborn tone.
“Because Mr. Kim is coming with her two young daughters, Kevin! You know your brother Stefan. No matter what I say, he will flirt with the girls. You know that the girls are also interested in the three of you. But Mr. Kim is really possessive of his daughters. I don’t want to lose this deal, hence, I can’t send Stefan” Dad’s voice was dead serious.
“I understand, Dad. Then what about Riven?” I asked, as I really didn’t want to leave Giselle there and go.
“I think you haven’t heard me before. There are young females as your clients who are interested in you and your brothers. Don’t you know your brother, Kev? He will scare them off just by his aura. How can someone make a deal with you when you glare at his daughters? I would have sent him with you because you would handle him, but I can’t send him alone”, Dad explained, and I couldn’t agree more.
I remember how he reacted to Ms. Mehra when she tried to flirt with him and Dad was super angry when she broke our alliance. I had to convince an entire week for doing business with us, otherwise Dad would have disowned Riven back then.
I was dragged out of my train of thoughts when I heard Dad’s calm voice, “I already told you, only you can handle this important client, my son.”
“Fine, Dad. I will go”, I accepted my defeat and said in a low voice.
“Okay, thank you so much, Kevin, and I am sorry for calling you like this”, Dad apologized.
“I didn’t expect this from you, dad” I spoke in a disappointed tone.
“Hey! I am the one who came with this trip plan with Stefan!” Dad sounded really offended.
“Alright. I will extend this trip for two more days and I will come tomorrow. Good night”, I announced and said good night before he could deny.
“Okay. Good night, my son” Saying that, Dad disconnected the call.
I threw my cell phone on the bed and stormed outside the room. I didn’t take my cell phone with me as I didn’t want any more interruptions.
I rushed towards Giselle’s room. I couldn’t wait to spend the whole night with her. I still didn’t want to go, but my father needed me. I hated the fact that I had to be away from her for two entire days, which was feeling like two centuries right now.
I was about to knock on the door when I heard her talking over the phone. I heard the word ‘Dad’ and took a few steps back.
I decided to wait outside her room until she was done talking with her father. It’s been a while since she had talked to her father, hence, I didn’t want to disturb her.
I waited outside patiently and she was having a deep conversation with her father. Her father sounded really worried about her having three mates who are also her stepbrothers.
I smiled when I heard her saying that she is happy with us and we are taking care of her really well. She even took my name individually as the most understanding one.
I was feeling proud that I was able to make her feel secure and protected. She told him not to worry and she was doing just fine. She promised him that she would call him twice a day and disconnect the call after saying ‘love you’.
I felt jealous that she said ‘I love you’ twice a day, but not a single one was for me, it was for her brother and dad.
As soon as she was done with her father, my desperate a*s knocked on the door. I soon realized that I knocked a bit too loudly.
I heard her nonchalant reply, “Come in.”
I opened the door with a thud and my eyes fell on Giselle lying on the bed.
When she saw me, she sat on the bed looking at me confusedly, “What happened, Kevin?”
I felt like my heart was going to explode. I wanted her. I was not going to see her for two whole days. I felt like dying!
I didn’t speak a single word and walked towards her. She stood in front while looking at me with a big question mark on her face.
In a matter of seconds, I was standing in front of her. I could tell she was confused and she wanted to ask so many things, but I didn’t have the luxury of time. I only had tonight to spend with her.
Before she could utter a word, I crashed my lips on her before saying, “I want you…”
