She widened her eyes and shushed me, pushing her fingers against my lips.
“Don’t say that, Bee. I can’t stand that thought of being without you.” I kissed her finger and she removed it.
“I adore everything about you, Violet. My Flower. I swear to make your life bliss, I promise you. You’re my world, honey.”
That was the complete, honest truth and I hope she knows that. I saw her eyes water and she pressed a small kiss to my lips.
“I love you too, Benlyam. I like how you taught me what love was, and that you gave me yours, I couldn’t be a-anymore thankful,” she grabbed my face and kissed me with everything and I died.
Right then and there.
Fucking fuck- I love her. I love her.
… I love her…
…”I love you too.”… I heard her and I truly loved it.
We sat for a few more moments, hours could’ve passed- I didn’t care. I enjoyed having her sit with me, kiss me, letting me hold her. But sadly- we couldn’t stay there forever- we had two beautiful babies to go see, and love, and care for.
She was so excited to see them again, kissing them both endlessly. She fed them and I had to leave her for a few minutes. Even if she hated being alone, and I hated leaving her alone.
Hannah had to go back to her house to take care of some problems- Garret stayed and we talked about some perimeter problems before he departed.
It took a lot longer than I planned and I was eager to go back into our room and see my lovely Flower. It was later and I expected the twins to be asleep in their crib and Violet off doing something- when I walked in our room, I saw her laying on our bed with the twins asleep by her.
My Flower, when will she learn? I walked by her and realized she was also out. They looked so perfect- in fact… I fished my phone out of my pocket and snapped a picture.
I’ll frame that and put it in my office.
Now the hard part- taking them from her.
Shit…
I quietly made my way to the other side of the bed by their crib and bent over. I lightly rubbed Violet’s shoulder because if I didn’t she’d probably instinctively hit me- I didn’t need her panicking right now.
Her eyebrows creasing and her eyes fluttered open- confused as to why she was being woken up. I didn’t want to, Flower.
“Hmm?” She blinked at me and I shot her a quick smile.
“Hey, Flower,” I said to her softly, “move, please,” I spoke as I reached to grab Layton. She frowned and gave a quick, light kiss to his forehead as I carefully picked him up- trying not to wake him. I did the same with Lana and thankfully- they stayed asleep.
I let out a small sigh and looked back at my Flower who was barely keeping her eyes open. I smiled at her and bent over on the bed so I could speak to her.
She gave a tired smile and I lightly kissed her forehead.
“Sorry it took so long, Flower,” I whispered.
“It’s okay,” she mumbled.
I gave her a warm smile, bringing up a hand to her cheek to brush her hair.
“Did you eat?” I saw her eyes leave mine for a second, coming back quickly. So, she didn’t eat- her easy tell.
“No,” she whispered. I frowned and sat up. I heard her groan- knowing what’s coming.
“Come on, Flower,” I lightly grabbed her hand, pulling her up, despite her frown.
“Bee,” she complained, lightly. I shushed her and lifted her, she naturally relaxed into my body and I started walking towards the door.
“I was comfortable and tired,” she rolled her eyes, resting her head against my chest as I carried her downstairs.
“You should’ve eaten before you got situated, honey,” I remind her and she huffed out because she knew I was right.
I walked to the table and pulled out a seat with my foot and carefully placed her in it- even with her glaring at me.
“Don’t give me that look, Flower,” she rolled her eyes at me and stood up, cringing. I glanced down- she wasn’t wearing socks.
“Ew,” I couldn’t help but laugh- causing her to glare at me again. She walked over to the fridge and thought for a second before pulling out some leftovers. “This okay?”
I didn’t even check, I just agreed with her. She didn’t take too long with heating it and serving it- I would’ve done it but she seemed in her own world.
She quietly ate- her tired state not faltering in the slightest. Which reminded me of something as she got up to take ur plates.
I picked her up to carry her upstairs and I was surprised she didn’t fall asleep on our way up. We both got ready for bed and laid together.
“Flower?”
“Yeah?” she mumbled as I held her body- she was snuggled up against me, my chest to her back.
“You know you’re not supposed to have the pups sleeping in bed with you, wait until they’re six months,” I reminded her lightly as I kissed the top of her head.
She sighed out, “I’m sorry, Bee. They’re just so cute and cuddly,” she was barely speaking, so close to just going under.
“I know, Flower, just one more month,” I kissed her head.
She hummed, “Goodnight, Bee. Love you.”
“Goodnight, Flower. Love you,” I whispered.
