Chapter 93 They Went to A Hotel

Suddenly, the pressure on her body had dissipated.
Emily opened her eyes and turned around. She saw Hunter as he stood beside the bed and looked at her icily.
There was some degree of anger, as well as disgust in his cold eyes.
He hated her! He gazed at her as though he was staring at something dirty and worn-out.
Emily felt an abrupt tightening in her chest, but she quickly pulled the blanket and wrapped herself in it before she hid at the other end of the big bed.
The coldness in Hunter’s eyes intensified.
The woman was not acting at all. Her tears were real.
She was no longer the woman with eyes that glowed whenever she saw him, nor was she the woman who had wanted to be by his side.
At that point, there was even caution in her eyes!
There was no shortage of trickery and deceit within the interactions that they had during the past few days.
However, she had smiled so freely when she sat next to Terry the night before that! Her actions had been so genuine and carefree!
Hunter stepped forward, and Emily immediately retreated to the edge of the bed.
He stopped, and then looked down at her arrogantly from high above!
“Do you really think that I want to touch you?” His voice was somewhat nasal and heartbreakingly scornful.
Emily merely looked at him as she bit her lip and kept quiet.
“I simply wanted to remind you that as long as the agreement is still valid, you’re my woman. I can give you the world, but I can also send you to hell!”
He was annoyed by the still-moist tears in the corner of her eyes.
He did not even know what had happened. All he knew was that his irritableness had driven him to a murderous rage!
“It’s best if you pay attention to your image when you’re with me. Otherwise, you won’t be the only one that I’ll abandon. I can do the same to those that you cared about whenever I feel like it!”
He turned away as he did not want to look at her tears anymore.
Was she really so aggrieved by how he pressed down on her that she nearly cried?
Would she smile and welcome it openly if Terry was the one with her?
Hunter’s heart felt dull. It was as if someone had stabbed him with a knife.
He refused to put more thought into understanding what those feelings represented.
He slammed the door shut as he went out of the room.
Emily immediately leaped off the bed, ran to the door, and locked it with a click.
Hunter’s last shred of pity vanished into thin air when he heard the door locked from inside the room.
She had put her guard up against him!
Emily’s tense nerves relaxed slightly, but only after she could only hear the sound of faint footsteps that led away from the door.
With her back against the door, she slid weakly onto the floor.
She rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand. She only realized that she had been crying when she saw the moisture on the back of her hand.
No wonder Hunter had looked at her with such strong aversion earlier.
He hated it when women cried!
Even so, his indifference had obliterated whatever fantasies she had of him during the past couple of days.
She was nothing but a pawn in his game from the beginning until the end.
The only reason why she had the opportunity to stay with Eldest Young Master Jackson was that the old madam liked her.
If it were not for the old lady’s peace of mind, he would not be willing to bring home such an ugly person like herself, let alone to help her so often.
Did she gradually become stupid, or was she born an idiot?
She knew very well for whom he did all that for, and yet she often found herself lost under his strong aura.
Emily, you are really an idiot!
Was she sad? She should have gotten used to his indifference by then. What conceivable reason did she have to be depressed again in her new life?
She felt a slight disappointment in herself because she thought that she would not be mesmerized by him again.
Facts have proven that she could never defend herself against Eldest Young Master Jackson’s charm, even though she had already lived twice.
Was it not time to wake up from her dream?
As she clasped the blanket tightly, she stood up and gently pushed the door open.
The corridor outside was quiet, and there was no one there at all.
She wrapped the blanket tightly around her body, and while the coast was clear, she quickly walked out of the room to return to her bedroom.

“Eldest Young Master, Young Madam had gone to her classes.”
Liam immediately reported to Huntere after he answered a call on his phone.
Hunter remained expressionless as he leaned against the back seat. His gaze was still on his laptop screen, and he seemed disinterested in whatever Liam had said.
Liam held the steering wheel with both hands and secretly looked at Hunter from the rear-view mirror.
Eldest Young Master Jackson’s expression was indecipherable.
However, he should at least show some concern with Young Madam’s whereabouts.
“Eldest Young Master, Young Madam’s friend, Terry, is also resuming his classes today. The stab wound seems to have almost no effect on him.”
Terry was definitely one of the more tough-spirited characters that Liam had ever seen, at least when compared to that Terry’s own peers.
Liam could not help but heaped some praises on him. “That Terry is quite talented!”
“He’s still young, and if you think about it, he has a bright future. Don’t you think so, Young Master?”
“Is your mouth too free?” Hunter’s scathing remark made Liam swallow all the praises that he had for Terry.
His hands trembled, and he nearly lost his grip on the steering wheel!
Why was Eldest Young Master Jackson’s tone so hostile?
Eldest Young Master had hit it off with Terry the night before, had he not?
With Hunter’s predilection for talent, he ought to be finding a way to take Terry under his wing.
Why did it appear as though he was jealous?
No, no, no! Who could compare to Eldest Young Master Jackson throughout the whole of Bentson?
How could he possibly be jealous of someone else?
A phone call came in, and it prompted Liam to put on his Bluetooth earphone. His conversation was not audible, but he replied, “Okay… Yes, it’s fine… Young Madam? Hmm…”
After he hung up, he continued to drive without reporting another word to his eldest young master!
Hunter’s fingers tensed on the keyboard. Even though his line of sight was still on the screen, his attention seemed to have withered considerably.
For more than ten seconds, Liam still did not mention anything about the call.
The silence continued for the next thirty seconds.
A minute had passed, but Liam showed no sign of talking!
Hunter had clearly heard him mention the woman.
It was obviously something about the young madam, so why did Liam not report that to him?
Hunter did not want to admit that he wanted to know about that, but Liam was his assistant. He should report everything to him even if he did not ask about it.
Two minutes, three minutes, five minutes… That damn Liam did not seem to have any intention to say anything at all!
Once it reached the sixth minute, Liam finally said something.
He moved his neck and whispered, “El… Eldest Young Master, don’t you think… The air conditioner is a bit… Too cold?”
The temperature in the car was incredibly cold!
He had no idea where the cold air had come from, but the temperature before that had been rather pleasant.
The temperature seemed to have dropped after he took the last call.
After he had endured it for the last six minutes, his teeth almost chattered due to the coldness!
Hunter wanted to tear him to pieces!
On the surface, however, Hunter maintained a calm disposition. “Do you have anything to say?”
“Say?” Liam remembered that Hunter had commented earlier about how his mouth was unoccupied. Liam immediately straightened his back and nearly broke out in cold sweat.
“No, nothing to say, n-n-n-nothing, nothing at all!”
After that, he shut his mouth and dared not utter another word.
It still felt cold, even though the temperature had been turned up. It seemed to have gotten colder too!
Behind him, Hunter slapped the laptop shut.
That sound, coupled with the terrifying energy, caused Liam’s heart to clench. His brain eventually managed to snap back to its senses, and he reacted quickly.
“Eldest Young Master Jackson, they said… Young Madam and Terry, are going… They are going to a hotel!”
