Ava felt sad. When Eldest Young Master Williams was with the old madam, there was a hint of tenderness in his voice even though he sounded indifferent. However, when he spoke to Ava, there was a noticeable coldness in his voice. She thought that he was unfair toward her, but she could only swallow her grief. She would have to wait until Eldest Young Master Williams fell in love with her before she could throw a temper tantrum.
Ava looked at Michael with grief in her face. “I… My waist hurt a little. Sorry…”
She pushed against the flower bed next to her to try to pull herself up. However, she fell back down again before she could get up. She looked at Michael again, and she was so anxious that she started to cry.
“I’m sorry, Eldest Young Master Williams, I… I can’t get up. Please, give me a little more time.”
Michael glanced at Ewan, and the bodyguard immediately stooped by Ava’s side and said, “Let me help you.”
Ava was discouraged. Eldest Young Master Williams had promised the old madam to protect her, had he not? Even though he did teach those bullies a lesson, he had not protected her. Would he call that protection?
She kept her eyes on Michael as if she dared not do anything but waited for his instructions. Unfortunately, Michael merely turned around and strode toward WongRiver Pavilion.
He had left her here.
“Miss Garcia, let me help you back into the house.” Ewan remained by her side and reached out to her.
Ava finally came up with a reason for his action. Eldest Young Master Williams had a fiancée, so if he wanted to take care of her, he could not do it so openly. After all, there were other people in the garden. Since he commanded his people to take care of her, it must have meant that he cared about her. If he had not bothered about her, why would he ground Snowy? Renee was also in a miserable condition because of her. Ava felt so much better after she pondered about the situation.
She moaned lightly as she put her hand in Ewan’s pam. “My waist… it hurts. Please be gentle.”
“Very well.” Ewan supported her and pulled her up gently.
“Are you heading out? I can take you to the garage.”
“I… I can’t go now, I…”
“Is it that bad?” Ewan thought that girls had little strength, and since a girl had kicked Ava, she could not have been severely hurt. However, it looked like he was wrong as Ava looked severely injured.
“I haven’t been well since I was a child. I’m sorry…” Ava looked down as if to hide her thoughts.
Ewan said, “Then I shall take you to WongRiver Pavilion for a short rest. Perhaps let the doctor check on you.”
“It’s alright. I just need a break. There’s no need to trouble the doctor.”
She could go to the WongRiver Pavilion; Ava felt like she was on cloud nine! Everyone knew that Michael did not grant entrance easily into his WongRiver Pavilion. The two young misses had tried to take their friends there, but they were not allowed to go in. Ava could not believe that she could waltz into it so easily.
Once Michael was back at the WongRiver Pavilion, he went straight to his study, and he remained there for a long time. Ava made herself at home. The old madam had told her that Eldest Young Master Williams had agreed to take care of her in the future.
One could be fearless when showered with love. She thought that no one would dare to offend her after what had happened to Snowy. Just as she basked in her good fortune, she saw a slender figure appear in the courtyard outside the hall. What a coincidence! She did not expect to see her sister then. She looked around, and when she was sure that Ewan was gone, Ava stood up and blocked Elena at the entrance before the hall.
“Why are you here?” Elena had stayed in the dormitory for the past two days, so she did not know about the situation at the Williams family.
Ava had been at the Williams mansion three days ago, and she did not expect her to be there still. However, why was she not at the old madam’s room? Why was she at the WongRiver Pavilion? Since when could anyone enter the place so easily?
“Michael invited me. Why can’t I be here?”
Ava pursed her lips. She always presented her best side to the public, even to those she despised. Elena ignored her and walked past her into the hall. Levi had driven her home from the university and told her that Eldest Young Master Williams was looking for her. She was stunned to see Ava, though. It looked like her sister would not let her off that easily. She spread her arms to block Elena’s path.
” Michael is busy. Are you going to disturb him?”
“Eldest Young Master Williams told me to come here. Why can’t I see him?” There was no expression on Elena’s face.
“Elena, you have to understand how things work. Now that I’m here, you are no longer needed.”
Elena’s eyes finally landed on Ava. How could that woman be so full of herself?
“Too bad it’s not your call.”
Elena tried to leave, and as Ava stepped forward to stop her, the two sisters immediately collided into each other.
Ava fell onto the ground and yelped. “Argh! Elena, why must you bully me?”
Elena was so disgusted with her sister’s lame trick that she almost vomited. However, some people could not tell right from wrong! Ewan had just come out of the hall and saw Ava on the ground. He rushed toward her immediately.
“Miss Ava, what happened? Are you hurt?”
It looked like even Eldest Young Master Williams’s people had taken to addressing her as Miss Ava! Elena frowned, but she said nothing. Ewan helped Ava up as he glanced at Elena with caution.
“Young Madam, Miss Ava is a guest of the young master. Please be polite to her in the future.”
“What did you say?” Elena’s face sank.
Be polite to Ava? What did he mean? Had Ava’s lousy acting deceived him?
Such was the evaluation skill of Eldest Young Master Williams’s best bodyguard! Ewan knew that he must have made the young madam feel terrible, but he had to uphold the task that Eldest Young Master Williams had given him.
He explained plainly, “From today onward, Miss Ava is Eldest Young Master Williams’s godsister. To bully her is the same as provoking the young master.”

Ava was shocked. That was totally out of her expectation. What godsister? She had wanted to be Michael’s woman! How could she be content with the old madam’s decision to get the Eldest Young Master Williams to only care for her? She had to get rid of Elena! Otherwise, she would be in a lot of trouble!
On the other hand, those words were like a sharp stab into Elena’s heart! She felt as if her heart was bleeding. What god siblings? Who knew what would happen in the future? Everyone knew that none of the god siblings’ relationships were as pure as they intended them to be.
Elena knew that she could never be with Eldest Young Master Williams, and it was okay with her if he were to get another woman. Well, as long as that woman was not Ava. She would never accept it if he were to choose Ava! That woman had killed her in her past life!
