Chapter 110 She Is Dead

Book:The Reborn Wife Published:2024-5-1

Mia had gone crazy!
Perhaps one would really go crazy after such a blow in their life! However, Elena did not have any sympathy for Mia. She would never meddle with another person if they did not provoke her. Otherwise, she would end up with the same ending from her past life—a nasty death on the street!
Elena forced herself to be calm even though she could see the knife in her abductor’s hand. However, her heart pounded furiously.
“Why did you use Henry to get to me?” She still could not figure that part out. She had not had that much interaction with Henry in her new life. Why did Mia not use another person’s name?
“Well, because you liked Henry.” Mia beamed.
She stooped down and waved the knife in Elena’s face. “You are such a greedy b*tch! You already have Eldest Young Master Williams as your fiancé, and yet you still show an interest in Third Young Master Williams?”
Mia rapped the blade on Elena’s cheek. “Oh, greedy people would suffer a terrible death, wouldn’t you think so?”
Even though the knife was only lightly tapped on her face, it was enough to scare Elena. She did not want to suffer any cuts to her face. She closed her eyes as she took a deep breath and fought to keep her voice calm.
“Really? Why don’t I remember about the special feelings that I supposedly have for Third Young Master Williams? I haven’t even said more than three sentences to him.”
She watched Mia’s face for any changes in her expressions. “Mia, you really s*ck at gathering information, don’t you think so?”
“Really?” Mia sneered and then proceeded to tap the knife harder on Elena’s face.
“Mmm…” Elena was terrified, and she could not disguise her fear.
“Oh, you are scared, aren’t you? I thought that you were not afraid of anything!” Mia’s eyes flashed with excitement!
“You must be horrified, right? Tell me, are you afraid of me? Beg me, Elena, beg me quick! Otherwise, I will slice you into tiny pieces!”
Elena squeezed her fist discreetly. That woman had gone crazy!
“Yes, I’m scared. I’m afraid of death, so please don’t hurt me.” She knew that she had to obey Mia at that moment. She did not want the blade anywhere near her.
“Why do you think I like Henry?”
“You hugged Henry at the Williams mansion, and you were caught red-handed by Eldest Young Master Williams. Did you think that I wouldn’t know about it?” Mia looked proud and pleased, almost like she had a winning ticket in hand.
“You s*ut! You’ve laid your hands on so many men. Do you think that you are that good?”
Elena did not say anything, but she tried to process the information as quickly as she could. Those people must have had spies in the Williams family.
Ava must have been the one who leaked that information. Mia was only a nobody. However, Ava could not have plotted against them by herself either. She would not have been able to manipulate Henry’s death.
However, she had not known anything about the person behind Ava. Had they joined forces? Was it Dylan? No, Second Young Master Mu was not that thoughtful. So, who could it be?
Suddenly, a rogue wave hit the side of the boat, and Mia lost her footing. The blade in her hand shone under the silvery shades of the moonlight as it glided across Elena’s cheek.
If Elena had not reacted quickly and leaned backward to avoid it, the blade would have dragged a deep, bloody slash across her face.
It was a sharp knife, and a crazy person had wielded it! The fact that they were in an open sea made the matter worse. Elena knew she had to act fast. Otherwise, she would miss the chance to save herself!
As Mia tried to regain her balance, Elena took that small window of opportunity to make her move. Elena gritted her teeth and rammed her head into Mias stomach. The knife slipped from Mia’s grip and into the sea.
The momentum tipped Mia off-balance, and she staggered backward. Then she failed to regain her balance, and she fell onto the floor of the boat. Her head hit on something with a loud thud, and she fainted. Elena got up to check on her. She wanted to make sure that Mia was still alive as she did not want to become a murderer. However, another rogue wave hit the boat, and she stumbled forward.
The speedboat shook violently, and Elena wobbled. Before she could stand still, a third giant wave splashed onto the boat. Her body was flung into the air and then into the sea.
She tried to struggle, but her limbs were bound. It was no safer to fall into the water than to remain on the speedboat. It was a life and death situation!
The thick saltwater gushed into her nose as it filled her airspace and made her dizzy. She tried to open her eyes, but the saltwater stung them. D*mn it! How could she let herself fall into such a state of despair?
She could not get out of the rope that bound her wrists and ankles. Her body sunk deeper into the ocean. As she was unable to breathe, her limbs gradually weakened, and finally, she began to lose consciousness.
How long had she survived in her new life? However, there was no lack of danger in it. Was it that difficult to lead a normal life? Would she get another miracle? An undercurrent then knocked her out completely.
As she closed her eyes, a silly thought crept into her head. Would Eldest Young Master Williams shed a tear if she did not survive?

Elena was gone.
They had managed to find Mia as she laid unconscious in the speed boat. They sent her to the hospital for a check-up, and the doctor confirmed that her head injury was sustained in the fall. She was awake, but she was still confused. Perhaps it was the side effect of the head injury.
She had talked only nonsense. One minute she said that Elena was there to kill her, and the next, she would say that she had murdered Elena and how a deity had taken Elena away. Even the hospital staff could not get any reliable information from her.
According to a footage video that Caleb retrieved from the surveillance camera by the street, Mia had hit Elena from behind. Then, she dragged Elena into the car and drove away.
It turned out that Mia was not mentally sound, and Elena was declared as missing!
They found the speedboat as it drifted on the ocean. However, it would be near-impossible to find a girl in such a vast sea.
It had been two days and two nights. If Elena were still alive, she would have gone back to the shore. The only other possibility was that she was buried at sea. Michael’s people still searched for her; the eldest young master had refused to accept the outcome thus far.
However, another person leaped in joy when she heard the news! Elena was dead, so she no longer had to worry about whether Elena would expose her real appearance to Michael. Would any other news make Ava happy?
She had made an appointment with Dylan that night just to fish some information from him about Eldest Young Master Williams.
“Are they still looking for her? So, they still can’t find her?”
