Elena lifted the glass and took a sip of the tea. She felt at ease. She was not troubled or discomforted by any of the pressure from the spectators around her.
“Elena, do you want to explain yourself?” Snowy could never contain her anger. How could she take it so lightly when so many people waited for her explanation?
“No. Those were lies anyway, so why do I have to explain myself?”
Elena put down the glass and grinned, “Shouldn’t the person who made a claim justify it? Since she said that I got her kicked out of the store, then she might as well come up with the evidence.”
“Otherwise, I would have to explain every slanderous remark made against me. Do you think that I have time for all that?”
Her statement made sense, but was that an implication that Rosy had slandered her?
Surprisingly, Rosy was not angry. Instead, she said in a soft voice. “I do not have anything. I didn’t want to disturb Miss Garcia from browsing the bags, so I went off in a hurry and didn’t even try on the shoes.”
She looked at Elena with a smile. However, the smile could not disguise her anxiety and fear. “Sorry, Miss Garcia, it was a misunderstanding, and it was my fault.”
“Rosy! You have been bullied, and yet you have to admit your so-called mistakes! When have we ever gotten bullied like this?”
It was outrageous! How could Snowy put up with that?
“Elena, I want you to apologize to Rosy!”
Elena shrugged nonchalantly. “I did nothing wrong. Why should I apologize?”
Then she took her phone, turned on the recording button and set it on the table. Her indifferent eyes fell on Rosy. Suddenly, her gaze became icy-cold.
“Come on, let’s talk about what I did to you at that time. I like to seek the truth. You said that I bullied you, so had you better make it clear.”
“The police could investigate it thoroughly with this recording. If you lied, then you can look forward to a defamation charge.”
“Elena, you dare to threaten us?” Tabby’s face sank. This woman is really too much!

“There is still a place at your mum’s table, off you go now.”
A young miss in the Williams family had a higher position than Sarah. How could Fangfei stay when Tabby had asked her to leave? She could only glare at Elena with tears in her eyes. She reluctantly left her seat and walked toward the next table, where the second madam was seated.
