There was a reason Elena exited the store so quickly with the bag.
Just before she had time to examine it, Eldest Young Master Williams had urged her with a phone call.
She directly asked the salespersons if they had any bags that were worth more than one million dollars. They said ‘Yes,’ and she bought that right away.
However, she made it a point to tell Eldest Young Master Williams later that the bag will be returned to him after the event. She was unwilling to shoulder that 3 million dollars in debt.
It was so expensive that she felt like she would vomit blood!
She believed that the bag would be sealed and used as a specimen after she used it.
The only exception was if there were similar dinners like that in the future.
When the manager chased after her with two of the salesladies, she did not pay any attention to the store. Then she noticed that Vanessa stood in front of the store, and she found that to be a bit of an eyesore.
Elena curled her lips as she walked toward the shop.
The manager looked as though she had won the lottery and had immediately made arrangements to take the bag from the warehouse.
She poured a cup of black tea for Elena and bent over as if to fuss all over her.
“Miss, please have a seat, the bag will be here soon. Maybe you’d like to look at our shoes first, Miss?”
“Useless! My Big Sister is halfway trying her shoes. Aren’t you going to attend to her?”
Vanessa was very angry. She wondered how that poor woman had managed to purchase that bag.
Mia said that Elena was in a relationship with a rich man. Was that true?
Was that rich man blind, though? Did he not notice how poor and ugly the woman was?
One should note that Elena had never mentioned her family at school. Paired with a dull face, no one could remember her at all.
Even though Vanessa and Rosy also attended Eldest Young Master Williams ‘s engagement banquet, they only knew that his fiancée was the sister of Ava-Bentson’s Number One Enchantress.
In addition to Elena’s heavy makeup, no reasonable person could remember her face.
Other than the apparent familial relationship, no one would think that Ning University’s ugly Miss Garcia was the same person as Eldest Young Master’s Williams’s fiancée-the Garcia’s Third Young Miss.
When the manager heard Vanessa’s words, she finally remembered that she had forgotten about Miss Williams.
The manager immediately turned and said, “Ling, go and help Miss Williams to try out those shoes!”
Rosy had already kicked off the shoes and stood up.
The manager knew that they were not happy, but a commission of 30 thousand dollars was right in front of her.
Besides, those ridiculously wealthy customers came by the dozen.
The manager knew that she could earn more if she served Elena well.
The manager might regret Rosy’s departure, but she would not put much thought into it.
Vanessa fumed as she scolded, “You guys have such courage! Do you know who my Big Sister is? How dare you neglect us! Do you still want to remain in business?”
“Manager,” Elena called out suddenly.
The manager immediately bent toward her and smiled, “Yes, Miss, how may I help you?”
“Is this how your store does business? How do you expect customers to look at your products in such a noisy environment?”
Elena looked at the bag in her hand. Even though it was expensive, she did not seem to like it.
It was as if there were too many bags in her home. One more or less would make no difference at all.
The manager had looked at her as though she was ugly and disgusting, but that had changed into a kind of reverence that was almost on par with Bentson’s Number One Enchantress!
Besides, even Bentson’s Number One Enchantress might not have been that rich!
“Elena, what do you think you’re doing?” Vanessa’s face sank, and she got angry immediately.
Elena seemed to have hinted at the manager to kick them out. How outrageous!
Elena frowned, apparently annoyed by the noise. Her body language indicated that she was about to stand up and leave the store.
The manager became frantic when she realized that and immediately turned to look at Vanessa. “Miss Williams, the shop will be closed soon. Perhaps Miss Williams can come back another time.”
“What did you say?” Vanessa could not believe her ears.
The manager had been very respectful when Vanessa and Rosy went to their store.
Did she really want to chase them away for the sake of that ugly woman?
Rosy has already left anyway. The manager did not take kindly to Vanessa, who only accompanied other people and had never bought anything.
“Since Miss Rosy has left, perhaps you should go with her?” The manager put on a fake smile.
She had to offend Vanessa to get that 30-thousand-dollar commission.
“Come on. Everyone’s a customer. If she wants to buy something, it’s not that nice to treat them that way, right?”
Elena leaned on the back of the chair and gave Vanessa a sideways glance. “If you really want to buy something, then buy it already. If you only want to come in and have a look, wouldn’t it be better for you to leave now?”
“That’s right, Miss Williams. What would you like to buy? We’ll help you swipe your card for it immediately.”
The saleslady, who recorded the video earlier, went over to them and smiled derisively.
If it were not for the woman’s repeated pestering, Elena would have probably already bought their high-end luxury bag.
All in all, Vanessa was at fault for everything!
She had almost caused them to lose a distinguished customer, yet she still lingered there. How disgusting and irritating was that?
Even though Vanessa was not one of the primary young misses of the Williams family, her last name was still Williams. Why did she have to endure such anger?
Anger and anxiety filled her heart so much that she nearly cried!
“You! All of you!” She pointed at the salespersons as well as the manager and said, “I will tell my Big Sister to never visit your store again. I’ll wait for you to go bankrupt!”
The manager did not want to say anything else. Miss Mu was rich, but at the end of the day, she was only the descendant of the Mu family’s Second Old Master.
What was the difference between the main Williams family and their distant relatives? Very few ladies in Bentson were richer than the women from the Williams family.
However, many of them were richer than the extended Williams family.
She only bought shoes that cost between 100 to 300 thousand dollars anyway. It was no big deal if they were to lose a customer like her.
It was more important to serve someone who was obviously more significant than her.
The saleslady had the same idea, and she showed a sour expression toward Vanessa to please Elena.
“Since you’re not buying anything, please go. Don’t keep us from doing business!”
“How dare you! You! Just you wait!”
That was one of the most humiliating days in Vanessa’s life. Despite that, she was determined to give them their just desserts one day!
“Especially you!” She pointed to Elena. “You and your ugly face with some miserable rich guy! Just you wait!”
Vanessa turned and left the store.
Elena also stood up after she had left.
The anxious manager smiled hurriedly. “Miss …”
“Forget it, your bags here are too low-standard. They’re not suitable for me. It looks like you will have to chase after those two Williams ladies now.”
Elena had run out of time! She was already late, and Eldest Young Master Williams’s gaze would kill her once she returned to the car!
With that sentence, she left without a backward glance.
The manager and the salespersons were utterly dumbfounded. What would happen after all that?
How could they continue with their lives after they lost a valuable customer and offended the two Mu ladies at the same time?
“Manager, why do I feel as if we’ve been tricked?” the sales lady pursed her lips and nearly cried.
