CHAPTER 45
Rachel woke the next morning with a headache, feeling groggy and emotionally exhausted from crying herself to sleep the night before. She knew that she needed to pull herself together and try to make the best of her honeymoon.
She got out of bed and made her way to the bathroom, where she took a long, hot shower.
The warm water helped to wash away the stress and tension of the previous night, and she felt a sense of renewed energy and determination as she got ready for the day.
As the day went on, Rachel’s headache worsened, she knew she needed something to ease the pain. She went to the kitchen and searched for pain relievers, she found a bottle of Panadol.
She took two tablets with a glass of water. She sat down on the couch, hoping that the medicine would work quickly.
She closed her eyes and leaned her head back, trying to relax and let the pain medication work.
She could feel the dull ache in her head slowly dissipating, and she felt a sense of relief as the pain began to subside.
With a new sense of resolve, Rachel decided that she was going to make the best of her honeymoon and try to connect with her husband.
She was eager to speak with Leo, and she hoped that they could work through whatever was troubling him.
As she made her way downstairs, she noticed that the house was eerily quiet. She looked out the window and saw that Leo’s car was not in the driveway.
Rachel woke up the next day with a heavy heart, thinking about the events of the previous day.
She couldn’t shake off the feeling of fear and uncertainty that had lingered from the night before. She got out of bed and made her way to the kitchen to make herself a cup of coffee, trying to shake off the feeling of unease.
As she sat in the kitchen, she couldn’t help but notice the silence in the chateau.
She couldn’t hear any sound coming from the next room, and she couldn’t help but wonder where Leo was. She got up and made her way to the next room, only to find that his door was locked.
Feeling disappointed and confused, Rachel retreated back to her room, thinking that Leo didn’t want to talk to her. She spent the next few hours in her room, trying to make sense of what was going on.
As the day went on, Rachel couldn’t shake off the feeling of worry and uncertainty. She decided to come out of her room and try to find out what was wrong. She called out Leo’s name, but there was no response. She searched the chateau, but she couldn’t find him anywhere.
Feeling more alone and confused than ever before, Rachel couldn’t help but wonder what was going on with her husband.
She decided to make herself breakfast and try to enjoy her time alone. As she sat at the kitchen island, she couldn’t help but feel a sense of loneliness and isolation. She didn’t understand why Leo would leave her alone on their honeymoon and she couldn’t shake off the feeling that something was not right.
As the day went on, Rachel tried to keep herself busy by exploring the chateau and the surrounding area. She spent some time in the gardens, admiring the beautiful flowers and the stunning views of the Italian countryside. She read a book, watched a movie and even took a nap but her mind kept going back to her husband’s behavior.
As the day went on, Rachel couldn’t shake off the feeling of loneliness and isolation. She felt more alone than ever before, and she couldn’t understand why her husband would leave her alone on their honeymoon.
She decided to check her social media account, and sure enough, there were already posts about her wedding to Leo.
She saw pictures of herself and Leo smiling and looking happy, and she couldn’t help but feel a sense of disappointment and sadness. She promptly switched off her phone, not wanting to see any more reminders of her current situation.
Feeling down, Rachel decided to occupy her time by working on her designs and sketches and she found that working on her projects helped to take her mind off her current troubles. She spent hours working on her designs, trying to lose herself in her work.
As Rachel lay in bed, she couldn’t shake off the feeling of fear and uncertainty. The chateau felt empty and quiet, and she couldn’t help but feel scared. The silence was oppressive, and she couldn’t shake off the feeling that something was not right.
She couldn’t help but wonder where Leo was and what he was doing, and she couldn’t shake off the feeling that he was avoiding her. The thought that her husband could be purposely avoiding her made her feel even more scared and alone.
She tried to tell herself that everything was fine, that maybe Leo was just busy with work, but she couldn’t shake off the feeling of unease. The chateau felt big and empty, and she couldn’t help but feel like she was alone in a foreign place.
Rachel couldn’t help but think of all the things that could go wrong and how she would be stranded alone in a foreign country, she felt a sense of vulnerability and the panic of not being in control of her own life.
As the day turned into night, Rachel found herself constantly thinking about when Leo would come home. She couldn’t shake off the feeling of worry and uncertainty, and she couldn’t help but wonder what was going on with her husband.
She decided to watch a series to take her mind off things, but even as she watched, her mind kept drifting back to Leo. She couldn’t help but wonder where he was and what he was doing, and she couldn’t shake off the feeling that something was not right.
As the night went on, Rachel eventually fell asleep, feeling exhausted and emotionally drained. She couldn’t help but wonder what the next day would bring, and she couldn’t shake off the feeling that her fairytale wedding and honeymoon were quickly turning into a nightmare.
