As they reached the altar, Rachel’s mother leaned in and whispered in her ear, “Your father would be so proud of you right now.” Rachel felt a tear roll down her cheek as she smiled at her mother.
As they walked down the aisle, Rachel couldn’t help but feel a mix of emotions. Her heart was heavy with the thought of her father not being there to walk her down the aisle, but at the same time, she felt a sense of peace knowing that he would be proud of her for fulfilling his last wish.

As Rachel stood at the altar, looking into Leo’s eyes, she couldn’t help but feel a sense of familiarity. He reminded her of her boss, in the way he stood and the way he looked at her.
She couldn’t shake the feeling, but she tried to push it aside, focusing instead on the love she felt for him.
But as they were pronounced husband and wife and Leo leaned in to kiss her, something inside Rachel snapped. Leo took Rachel’s face in his hands, looking into her eyes. He leaned in slowly, giving her time to prepare and to feel comfortable.
Rachel’s eyes closed as she felt his lips touch hers, it was a soft and gentle kiss, full of love and promise.
She had a panic attack, her heart racing and her breath coming in short gasps. She felt like she couldn’t breathe and the world around her was closing in.
Leo immediately noticed her distress and quickly took action. He helped her to breathe better, guiding her through the panic attack. He spoke softly to her, reminding her to breathe slowly and deeply. His words calmed her, and she slowly started to regain control of her breathing.
As the panic attack subsided, a family relative jokingly remarked, “Looks like Leo’s already started his husbandly duties, taking care of you like that.” The comment brought a small laugh from the guests, and Rachel felt a sense of relief wash over her.
Leo took her hand and together they walked down the aisle as husband and wife.
