“He doesn’t have the birth mark.”
“That’s no big deal. It’s normal. I told you yesterday, you didn’t believe me, and even went to ask Lena.”
“No, I always feel that something is wrong, my intuition can’t be wrong, there must be something wrong somewhere.”
“You, enough！” If you bring up anything about Alvin, I’ll behave like a hoodlum.”

The next day morning, Kevin sent Bella to the airport to take the early fight to F City.
After getting off the plane, Bella saw her aunt and uncle running towards her. Family meet-up was always delightful. She asked in confusion, “Uncle, how did you know that I came to F City?”
“Kevin called us. He was afraid that something would happen to you and asked us to come to the airport to pick you up.”
So that’s how it was, Bella smiled slightly for Kevin’s thoughtfulness, feeling warmed and touched.
“Auntie, how are you?”
“I’m good. Once I’ve known that you’re pregnant, I can’t stop feeling happy for you. Bella, you sort of realize my wish of many years.”
Bella held her auntie’s arm, knowing that she was feeling sorry that she was unable to have any child with her husband.
They went home joyfully. In the afternoon, Bella called Quintin. Quintin was surprised and happy to know that Bella came to F City. They made an appointment to have dinner together.
“Auntie, I won’t have dinner at home tonight.”
“Are you going out with Quintin?”
“Yes.”
“Alright. You guys get along very well, not made into lovers, but made into friends. Really rare.”
“Yeah.” Bella smiled.
She felt that since she left the Jones-Sharps family two years ago, her life started to reverse. First she met Quintin, later becoming her rock, then got back with Kevin. And now she was happy to be pregnant with two children. Quintin became her good friend. At first glance, Bella’s life seemed very fulfilling.
At six o’clock, she waited for Quintin at the only restaurant in F City that sold Spring Chicken, and to her surprise, Quintin was not alone, but brought a woman with him. “Bella, I missed you so much. Come and give me a hug.”
Quintin still looked playful, Bella jokingly scolded him, “Who wants to hug you.” She looked askance at his side of the female companion, “This is…”
“Let me introduce you guys.”
Quintin pointed at the woman beside him, saying, “This is my new girlfriend, Holly.”
With his twist of his finger, he pointed to Bella, “This is my ex-girlfriend, Iris”
“Nonsense. ” Bella, slight annoyed, pat him, “I’m not.”
Bella smiled to explain to Holly, “Don’t listen to him, we are just friends.”
“Miss Iris, it’s ok, that’s the way he is. I’m used to it.”
Holly grinned with her two shallow dimples on her cheek. Bella thought she was a nice person, a pretty and gentle woman.
“Actually, Quintin told me about you. I know that he chased you for two years, but you had your heart on someone else, so he gave up. ”
Bella was surprised and nodded embarrassingly, “Yeah, he did chase me before. But I hope you don’t mind that. He wasn’t serious at that time.”
“Who said I wasn’t taking it seriously. I did, all the time.” Quintin protested.
“I don’t mind at all. Every man would have crush on several women. And I don’t want to interfere with his past, as long as I’m part of his future.”
Holly stood up, “Excuse me, I need to go to the bathroom. You guys haven’t seen each other for a long time. Enjoy your catch-up.”
Looking at Holly’s back sight, she acclaimed, “Quintin, you have such a nice girlfriend.”
“Of course, otherwise, I wouldn’t have my eyes on her.”
She jokingly glared at him, “Look at you, bragging again. When can you change your personality to not boast all the time?”
“Why should I change? Holly loves me for self-confidence.”
“Fine, keep bragging. Anyway, it’s not the first time I see you boasting.”
Bella returned to the topic, “By the way, Quintin, are you your parents’ biological son?”
Puff. Quintin almost choked on a mouthful of water, “If I weren’t born by my parents, maybe I fall from the sky?”
“You are 29 years old, aren’t you?”
“Yeah.”
“Do you have a red nail-sized birth mark on your leg?”
Quintin froze, and suddenly lowered his voice and gestured with his hand, “Come closer.”
Bella leaned over. He said playfully, “How about getting a room tonight? I’ll take off my pants and show you.”
” Ugh!” Her eyes glared, “Seriously, do you have it or not?”
“Honestly… No.”
As soon as Quintin said it, Holly came back, so the topic came to a halt.
“Let’s order something. I’m hungry now.”
Bella rubbed her belly and Quintin nodded, “Sure.”
Halfway through dinner, Kevin called and Bella didn’t dodge it but pressing the answer button, “Hello?”
“What are you doing?”
“Having dinner.”
“Alone?”
Bella ginned slightly, knowing that Kevin asked this on purpose.
“No, with Quintin.”
As expected, Kevin said jealously, “You guys are really good friends. You just arrived F City and immediately reunited.”
“Yeah, Quintin wants to introduce his girlfriend to me.
“He got a girlfriend?”
“Yes.” Bella took a quick glance at Holly, “She is a very pretty and gentle lady.”
“Great. Now I don’t have to worry.”
She giggled, “Aren’t you afraid of others laughing at you? You are soon to be a dad.”

Bella and Kevin chatted for a while before hanging up. Quintin, with one hand covering his chest, said, “Iris, are you pregnant?”
“Yeah, you don’t know about that?”
“Nobody told me.”
“Sorry, it’s my bad. I’m pregnant, with two children.”
No wonder she was sitting on the chair all the time so that Quintin couldn’t see her bulging abdomen.
“Two children? Twins?”
“Yeah.”
She smiled happily.
“Oh man, I feel hurt. I’m heartbroken. Zero chance now.” Quintin exaggeratedly shouted at the waiter, “Bring over ten bottles of beer, I’ll drink to death today. ”

The fourth day Bella in F City, Alvin came to Kevin’s office, reported to Kevin with a gloomy face, “Mr. Jones-Sharp, the plan isn’t going very well. I don’t know whether Gillian is intentional or unintentional, she has been obstructing this matter constantly. She keeps raising the price of the company that we want to acquire it. Bang! Kevin smashed the coffee cup at the edge of his desk. He was busy with something else in the last two days and was taken advantage by Gina. How dare was she to steal his man.

Alvin felt very guilty. Since the death of Kevin’s farther, Kevin promoted him to be the vice president and delegated basically most of the things to him. He only needed to ask advice for some crucial matters. So that he felt guilty as few employees left today.

Bella only stayed in F City for four days. She worried about Kevin and went back to B city without telling anyone.
At night, when Kevin got back home and saw Bella, he was startled and upset, saying, “Why didn’t you inform me before you came back?”
“What would you have done if you had knew it? You are quite busy, so I didn’t tell you and came back by myself.”
“I would have picked you up if you had told me. How did you get home?”
“Our driver picked me up. I just don’t want to bother you with trivial stuff.”
“You are no bother to me. Next time, don’t show up without telling me first.”
Bella smiled and nodded, “Yes, sir.”
“You talk back to me. You are the most disobedient wife in the world.”
Bella helped him take off the coat and defiantly said, “I guess you don’t know what a disobedient wife is like. Last month, Alice wanted to travel to Tibet with us but Louis didn’t agree, so she said she wouldn’t go. But next day when Louis woke up and found out that she had left with a note at the table. Louis exasperated.”
“Had it nor for your pregnancy, you would have done that, wouldn’t you?”
She laughed, feeling embarrassed, “No, I wouldn’t.”
Though she denied it, actually she was amazed that Kevin knew her that well.
“Is everything alright after I left? How’s the plan going?”
“Yeah, good. Everything is alright.”
Worry flashed through Kevin’s eyes. He didn’t mention anything that had happened in the company. He stretched himself, “I’m exhausted after a whole day’s meeting. I’ll go take a bath.”
“Sure.”
Kevin went to the bathroom. Bella noticed that he was in the bathroom for a long time. So she gently opened the door and took a peek, seeing him lying in the bathtub and meditating. Seeing that his eyebrows frowned together, she immediately understood that he was worrying about something. She figured maybe the plan wasn’t going very well and Kevin didn’t want to worry her, so he said nothing.
