Chapter 139 Behind the Scenes Scandal(1)

Book:The CEO's Seventh Bride Published:2024-5-1

Bella finished all the examination items that Adiana assigned her, and began to apprehensively wait for the results of the examination. She felt the same as when she did the examination in China. She wanted to know the result quickly, but was afraid to know. The contradictory and uneasy psychology was really indescribable.
An hour later, all the test results are out. Bella with a beating heart followed Blanche into Adiana’s office. Her hands had long been wet with sweat, and Blanche tightly grasped her hand. In fact, she was more nervous than her daughter-in-law.
As the head of a wealthy family, she knew better than anyone else the importance of continuing the family line. She said it did not matter in front of Bella, only to alleviate her pressure. But if Bella really was infertile, it wouldn’t be easy to say okay.
Of course, Bella knew it by heart.
“Adiana, how did it turn out? Is my daughter-in-law really infertile?”
Blanche nervously questioned her old friend.
Adiana pointed to the desk stool, “Let’s sit down first.”
They sat down and began to listen intently to the results of Adiana’s analysis.
“According to the five major items of the test, Bella is not primary sterility, but it doesn’t mean that there is no problem with fertility.”
“What? What does that mean?”
Blanche and Bella looked at each other, both thinking it was good news and not like good news.
“In other words, the real reason that affects your conception is actually your underdeveloped uterus, which means that your uterus is a bit smaller than a woman of normal reproductive age.”
“A small uterus? But what about the two hospitals in China where my daughter-in-law was examined said it was primary infertility?”
“It’s possible they’re bluffing. The hope of curing primary infertility is very slim, but it’s different with uterine dysplasia. The vast majority of patients who have been identified with uterine dysplasia have a good outcome, except for some who are congenital developmental disorders and are difficult to treat.”
“This is outrageous!”
Blanche slapped her palm on the table, “These people were really bold. How dare they fool my Jones-Sharp family? Let’s see how I’ll deal with them when I return!”
“Blanche, calm down. In fact, with the results of such a test, those two hospitals have a complete excuse to shirk their responsibility.”
“Why?”
“I’ve just told you that it has to be determined if it is a congenital developmental disorder when the uterus is small, and if it is, there’s nothing wrong with them planning it for primary infertility.”
“So is my daughter-in-law a congenital developmental disorder or not?”
“It’s hard to be sure about that for now, but we’ll have to treat it for a while to see how it works.”
“How are you going to treat it?”
“Western medicine was used first to determine the factors that cause uterine dysplasia. Through the promotion of ovulation, ovarian function will be restored, normal secretion of estrogen and progesterone, thereby stimulating the growth and development of the uterus. You come here a month later for a review. If the uterus grows significantly, you can rule out the possibility of congenital development disorders, and then continue to take the drug after two months, you can conception.”
“Oh, good.”
As soon as Blanche heard that Bella had hope of conceiving, she was in a great mood and jumped up like a child in the office.
“And what if the uterus doesn’t grow after taking the pill?”
Bella said calmly, making the originally excited Blanche suddenly quiet down. She only thought about the good side, forgetting that there was still the bad side to consider.
“Then we can only prepare for the worst.”
“What? Preparing for the worst?” Blanche was anxious, “Isn’t there anything even you can do? But I’m pinning all my hopes on you.”
“Blanche, don’t worry. Let’s treat it for a month and see. Then I will do my best according to your daughter-in-law’s recovery status.”
Bella looked askance at her mother-in-law, “Mom, that’s it. This result is good enough for me. Let’s follow Adiana’s arrangement and proceed with the western medicine treatment first.”
“Well, good.”
Blanche nodded and said gratefully to her friend who was about the same age as herself in front of her, “Adiana, thank you.”
Bella and her mother-in-law stayed in the United States for six days before departing for home. She hid all of the medicine Adiana prescribed her in a password box, afraid that Kevin would find it upon her return.
After receiving the news that Bella was coming back, Kevin was very happy. He came to the airport early and waited for two hours for Bella.
Bella saw Kevin holding flowers from a distance, smiling and walking over to him. Kevin opened his arms, and she threw herself into his arms. They embraced each other tightly, like a newlywed couple who had been separated for a year and a half after a long separation.
“Hey, do you bring flowers for Bella alone? Where are my flowers?”
Blanche knew that her son only bought a bouquet of flowers, but she still deliberately made things difficult for him.
Kevin snorted and took the luggage from his mother’s hand, “What? Are you jealous of your own daughter-in-law?”
“As the saying goes, it’s not unreasonable to forget one’s mother after marrying, and the present is a stark example.”
Bella pursed her lips and lightly smiled, handing the flower to her mother-in-law, “Give it to you. You can think of it as if your son bought it for you.”
“No, I don’t want it.”
Blanche arrogantly took the lead to walk out of the airport hall, and Bella and Kevin smiled at each other and followed helplessly.
As soon as the three of them stepped into the house, Lena questioned incredulously, “Oh my God, how did you do it, Bella?”
Bella was confused, “What do you mean?”
“How did you manage to get my crazy-loving mother back in a week?”
Kevin giggled and leaned in to say, “See, my mom is such a person.”
Bella awkwardly smiled, “Okay, actually I didn’t do anything. It’s Mom who misses everyone.”
“Ouch hey, don’t be so nauseating. I have goose bumps all over the place.”
Lena shivered in an exaggerated manner, making the whole family laugh.
Bella was not in a good mood, but after seeing Lena’s cheerful personality, she suddenly felt much better. Although Lena was so unhappy about Alvin, at least she got out of that love injury and accepted the fact that Alvin did not love her.
In the evening, after Bella took a hot bath out, Kevin hugged her from behind, and then urgently gnawed her neck, making her numb and itchy. Bella made efforts to struggle, “Kevin, don’t be like this. Don’t be like this…”
Kevin stopped moving like a hungry wolf and asked her with burning eyes, “After a week apart, don’t you even miss me?”
“Yes, I miss you.”
“Where do you miss me?” He ambiguously pointed to her heart, “Here …” He continued to move down, “Or here.”
Bella blushed and patted away his hand, “Both, but… I’m a little tired after flying for so long.”
She thought that this would not stop Kevin’s sexual behavior at all, but unexpectedly he nodded gently after a moment of contemplation, “Good, then rest.”
Kevin bent down and carried her to the bed, covered the blanket for her, kissed dotingly on her forehead, turned around and went to work in the study.
When she heard the crisp sound of the door slamming, Bella still couldn’t believe that Kevin had let her go easily, which was against his usual domineering personality.
Lying in bed, she could not sleep. She thought that the medicine had not been taken. She lifted the quilt and went out of bed. She opened the password box like a thief, quickly matched small pills, and then she took them one by one with the warm water.
It was really bitter, but her heart seemed even more bitter. The trip to America had given her hope, but she didn’t have much confidence in the future.
Freya was always like a thorn in her heart, and it had been a long time since Richard came to her, but she knew that he would still come to the door.
These were not the most important thing. The most important thing was whether she could give birth to a son and a daughter. A woman who could not have children was not a complete woman, and a family without children was also not a complete family.
She was standing by the window thinking about it for a while. The door behind her opened. Kevin finished work back, saw her standing in front of the window in her pajamas, angrily took a coat over her to the body, said, “Leaving the hospital for a few days, do you forget the painful scars?”
“It’s warm now, and it’s not cold.”
“No matter how warm it is, it’s still nighttime, and even in summer, it’s easy to get cold.”
Kevin pushed her back to the bed and warned, “Stay honestly, or else I can’t guarantee that I’ll be erotic after taking a bath.”
Bella might have been really shocked by his words, after which she laid down on the bed honestly. Until Kevin came out of the shower, she didn’t even turn over a bit.
“Is it that you can’t sleep without me?”
Kevin lay down beside her, pulling her under his armpits and holding her softly.
“It’s not that I can’t sleep. I might be able to sleep a little better if you’re here.”
“Did you guys have a good time in America? Where have you gone?”
Startled, Bella’s eyes sparkled as she replied, “Too many places.”
“What?”
“We went to all the famous places.”
“Where is the famous place?”
She was speechless. Why did he insist on getting to the bottom of the matter?
“You travel a lot to the U. S. on business. What famous places in the U. S. don’t you know?”
“Of course I know. I just want to know where you all have been.”
“Times Square, Las Vegas Strip, Disney Parks, Islands of Adventure, Niagara Falls…”
Kevin raised his eyebrows, “Wow, it’s only been five or six days and you guys have traveled half of the United States.”
“Right.”
“How did you guys do that? How is the time allocated?”
Seeing that he kept asking questions, Bella was afraid that he would find out something, so she deliberately yawned, “You go ask mom tomorrow. I’m sleepy. I’m going to sleep. Good night.”
