Kevin made love to her erotically and it ended with a sudden hush. Bella finally indulged herself in Kevin’s love.
After the passion, both of them didn’t sleep. Bella lay in Kevin’s arms, weakly asked him, “Why are you so sophisticated? You had a lot of experience, right?”
He stroked her hair and replied, “It’s an instinctive reaction, even if I don’t have the experience, I can do it.”
“But it won’t be finished so well, will it?”
As soon as Bella finished, she shyly looked down, and sure enough, Kevin smiled, “I was just worried that you wouldn’t be satisfied, but now I’m relieved to hear you say that.”
“You haven’t answered my question yet.”
She awkwardly screwed him.
“What question?”
“Just that question.”
“Just which question?”
She was too embarrassed to be explicit, so he had to play dumb, and in the end, Bella got a little annoyed, so she asked bravely, “You’re not a virgin, are you?”
Kevin’s eyes popped out, “Does this matter?”
“Of course it matters. If you’re not a virgin, I feel like I’m at a disadvantage.”
“But there’s nothing you can do. I have already made love to you.”
“So what do you mean? Are you not a virgin?”
“It’s not that important, is it? Would woman these days still care if a man is a virgin?”
“It doesn’t matter. But I’d feel better if you were a virgin.”
“Then you should meet me earlier, and vice versa.”
Bella curled her lip, “Okay, I’ll ignore the fact that you’re not a virgin, so tell me honestly, how many women have you had?”
Kevin fell silent, took a cigarette from the side of the bedside table, lit it, smoked, and confessed, “One.”
“Freya?”
“Yes.”
Bella looked upset immediately. How happy that woman should be to have a lover like Kevin, but why did she not cherish him and abandon such a lover?
“I’m a virgin. You should be happy.”
She changed the subject easily, not wanting to go on about someone who was making each other feel bad in such a beautiful atmosphere.
“Yes, so I’ll definitely try to love you well in the future.”
Kevin hugged her tightly and rubbed her forehead with his chin, murmuring, “I never thought that God would send an angel to save me, the devil. I thought I would be muddled for the rest of my life. Bella, thank you, you saved me from the endless darkness.”
“I’m not an angel. I’m just as much the devil incarnate as you are. Thank you equally. You saved me first.”
Love was such a wonderful thing. It could hurt or save people.
“Bella, it’s not the right time to say something, but I still want to be honest with you. I’m not a perfect man. I have a lot of flaws, so I may not deserve the perfect love. But I long to have it. You know how hard it was for me to fall in love with you. Sometimes, I envy people like Ives. They have a casual attitude towards relationships, and always break up easily. I am also from a rich family, but I can’t do it.”
“They don’t have genuine feelings. What’s the point of living? You don’t need to envy them. You just need to be yourself.”
This night, Kevin slept soundly, while Bella was tossing and turning and couldn’t sleep. She recalled Kevin’s words. She wanted to summon the courage to confess everything to him, but also felt that it was not the right time. They were in love just now, but also need some time to increase trust.
The early morning light was warm and unobtrusive.
Bella didn’t remember how she fell asleep later, only that dawn outside the window, and she rolled up the blanket and moved. She blushed.
“Awake?” He was lying next to her, watching the TV with the volume turned low. He leaned over and kissed her.
“What time is it?” Her voice was hoarse.
“It’s after twelve.” He looked at his watch, “Are you hungry? Get up and go down for some lunch.”
“Yeah.” She nodded, moving and resisting the discomfort between her legs, and lifted the covers to get out of bed.
He watched her move and smiled cunningly, “Do you want me to carry you?”
His voice was simply different, lazy, and meaningful.
She shyly dressed a set of nightgown beside her, and hurriedly got out of bed, put on her slippers and walked into the bathroom.
She pressed the wall light, pulled her hair back behind her ears, and took a glass to brush her teeth.
She brushed in a trance, but felt sleepy.
“Are you still sleepy?” Then a voice suddenly sounded in her ears and he had come up behind her. His arms braced on the sink, hugged her whole body in his arms, and his body ambiguously pressed against her.
When she squinted, she could see him in the mirror kissing her neck gently.
“Yes.” She bit her toothbrush and answered vaguely, and after a while, she suddenly said with annoyance, “Kevin!”
While she was sleepy, he began to stroke her body.
“Well, I’m here.” He replied calmly and didn’t stop.
“Lecherous…” Her mouth was full of foam. She was trying to rinse her mouth and stop him from stroking her, and in the end, of course, she had her hands full and could only say in shame, “You’re lustful…”
“Well.” He had picked her whole body up from the ground and pressed her against the sink.
After lunch, they went hand in hand to the most prestigious Eiffel Tower in Paris. Looking at the magnificent building, Bella forgot all the worries, and was joyful like a child, running around the giant tower. Kevin looked at her obsessively, and was like seeing the girl who was sitting in the chili noodle restaurant reading a book many years ago, also smiling childishly.
