The dawn came, and he finally had the answer in his heart.
He quickly packed a suitcase, then called to explain some company business to Alvin. He didn’t even say hello to home, and drove frantically to the airport.
After checking in temporarily, he guarded the waiting hall where Bella would appear, and at exactly seven o’clock, he saw her, and waved gently at her.
Bella thought she was dazzled. She rubbed her eyes to make sure that she did see Kevin, strode forward and stared at his luggage, said in surprise, “Where are you going?”
“Paris.”
She was even more surprised, “What are you doing in Paris?”
“I’m going for a honeymoon.”
Kevin replied naturally, but Bella didn’t believe it at all, “Just say it straight if you’re here to farewell. Don’t joke.”
“Do I look like I’m joking to you?”
He shook the expensive small suitcase in his hand.
“So you’re on a business trip, right?”
“Out of the hell, why don’t you believe me when I say it’s a honeymoon?”
Bella felt like he was playing a trick on her and rolled her eyes, “Okay, then I wish you a happy honeymoon, goodbye.”
“Oh, where are you going?” Kevin dragged her back.
“You go your way, I’ll go mine. Does it matter to you where I go?”
“Of course. We’re the ones who are going on our honeymoon together. If you leave, how am I going to do it alone?”
“I’m not going on a honeymoon.”
Bella helplessly raised her eyebrows. Early in the morning, he was insane.
The waiting hall had already come to the boarding prompt. Kevin pulled her hand and left. She made a strong effort to struggle free, “What are you doing?”
“It’ll be too late if you don’t leave.”
He turned back to remind her that he was flying to Paris anyway. Bella saw that he wouldn’t let go and just left with him.
Once on the plane, he began to ask squarely, “Do you have schizophrenia again?”
He booked first class, or a double seat, so her ticket was a piece of waste paper instead, and more importantly, she wasn’t sure what he was planning.
“My illness was almost healed, but because of you, I’m sick again.”
Bella was startled and a little overwhelmed, “I don’t understand what you mean.”
“I’ll write it down for you if you don’t understand.”
Kevin took out a black pen from his suit, then dragged up Bella’s right hand and wrote a few words on her hand, “I can’t live without you.”
Her heart thudded, but she continued to play ignorant, “I still don’t understand.”
Kevin used his fingers to wipe away the ink and wrote to her in more detail, “I can’t let you go.”
He had already written so obviously, and Bella did understand. But she just couldn’t believe it, so she shook her head over and over again, “I still don’t understand.”
“ILOVEYOU, Do you understand?”
It was the third time Kevin wrote in her hand. She suddenly grinned, snatched his pen, and added underneath, “I see, but why?.”
The palm of her hand was full of words. Kevin stuck to her ear and said, “The reason is very simple. I thought I won’t love you. But when you are going to leave me, I know suddenly I have long been loving you.”
Bella fiercely buried her face in his shoulder socket, weeping with joy. Kevin couldn’t pull her away. When she had cried enough, she voluntarily left his shoulders, choking, “If you dare to go back on your word, I will never forgive you.”
“You don’t have to threaten me. You know better than anyone how cautious I am with my feelings.”
Yeah, that was why Bella was crying. It was really hard to get Kevin to accept her feelings.
Kevin held her hand, and the two lonely people finally got together.
The plane arrived safely in Paris. Bella appeared very excited. It was her first time to set foot on the land of her dreams, and there was Kevin accompanying her. She was so joyful that she wanted to scream, shout, and to tell the world she was now a very happy woman.
Compared to her unfamiliarity, Kevin was particularly familiar with Paris. He often traveled here on business and no longer felt that there was anything special. Looking at how happy Bella was, he felt happy too.
“You should be tired after such a long plane ride, right? I’ve asked Alvin to book a hotel for me, so why don’t we go and get some rest?”
He asked for Bella’s opinion.
Bella shook her head, “I’m not tired. I really want to do something right now. Will you join me?”
“Well okay, what is it?”
“Is it okay if we find a street full of sycamore trees and walk hand in hand?”
Kevin giggled, “It’s easy. Let’s go.”
He brought her to the Champs Elysees. Standing in the middle of the road, Bella was so excited that she shes tears. She thought the image for many years, and at this moment, it really and truly appeared.
She took the initiative to take up Kevin’s hand, and then walked along the parasol tree on both sides of the road. In the beautiful autumn, the golden Chinese parasol leaves fell on their heads. They smiled at each other, and felt more intimate.
Kevin never knew that it was such a relief to put down the burden and try a new relationship. After three years, he could finally live a normal life.
Champs Elysees might be too long, or they were walking too slowly. Until nightfall, they didn’t reach the end of the road. Bella was happy, because she and Kevin would be able to walk forever.
No one knew how far forever was, but she was willing, to go down with him…
“I’m getting tired. Can I go back now?”
“It’s okay.”
Bella nodded with a smiling face.
They arrived at a luxury hotel located in the city center, and upon entering, Kevin lay down on the sofa and panted heavily, but Bella did not feel tired, standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows that overlooked half the city, screaming excitedly, “Paris, I love you. Paris, you’re so beautiful!!!”
He hugged her from behind. She stopped shouting, and blushed. Just last night, she was sad because of Kevin’s ruthlessness, but today, he stood with her in the land of dreams, and hugged intimately.
Facing the change of relationship between them, Kevin and Bella actually were a little nervous. He leaned his head on her shoulder, and softly said, “Are you hungry? Go downstairs and eat.”
“Alright.”
Bella nodded shyly, having expectations for tonight…
While eating, she looked up at Kevin from time to time. He was handsome. She even thought of him kissing her. Kevin only booked a room, so his implications was already very obvious. She smiled unconsciously when she thought of this.
“Do you still want to go out for a walk later?”
“No.”
She shook her head vigorously, “I’m tired.”
It wasn’t that she was tired, but she was afraid that the good time would be wasted.
Finishing the dinner, they took advantage of the lift upstairs. Kevin instinctively took Bella to the chest. Leaning on his wide warm bosom, Bella was so happy.
Out of the elevator, Kevin took out the room card, and opened the door. He took off his jacket, tugged on his tie and said, “I’m sweating. I go to take a shower.”
“Alright.”
Bella had already blushed, looked down and didn’t dare to look at him.
Kevin went into the bathroom. Bella nervously paced back and forth in the room, listening to the sound of water coming from the bathroom. She was nervous. What would be done later? She was blank in her mind. She had tried to seduce Kevin before, but now she didn’t have the courage instead.
While she was struggling, the bathroom door opened and Kevin walked out naked, his strong muscles glistening with glistening water droplets. Bella suddenly skimmed the half tattoo of his chest, and became unhappy.
“You go to shower.”
“I’ll wait for a moment. I want to see the night again.”
She walked gloomily to the landing window. She was just overwhelmed by excitement, began sober, and Kevin saw her loss at once, went forward to embrace her, and said frankly, “I have even given my heart to you. The tattoo is no longer so important. Tomorrow I will go and wash it off. If you mind, then I will not go to bed with you tonight.”
Bella did not deny that his words had pleased and touched her. After standing quietly for a moment, she turned back, and was about to say something, but he had hugged her into his arms and kissed her.
His mouth had a faint scent of mint. She let him hold her tightly, and held his neck tightly.
If this was a dream, she was willing to be intoxicated by it.
Bella had never ever seen Kevin act so fiercely and forcefully.
He had been holding her tightly and had removed all her clothes along the way, looking at her blankly.
He carried her to the bed and pressed down on her front, hugged her and kissed her from the nape of her neck and all the way down.
