Hearing the sound of distant footsteps, Bella breathed a long sigh of relief and stretched her arms, but inadvertently glanced at Kevin’s passport falling on the bedside table. She hurriedly got it and chased out. It was not easy to have some peace for a few days. She was afraid that he would cancel the trip because he forgot to bring his passport.
Because of getting up too early, only three or two maids downstairs were cleaning up. Seeing her downstairs, they nodded respectfully, “Good morning, young lady.”
With a hurried greeting, she ran straight out the door of the living room, but unfortunately, the car had already driven away.
She hastened to catch up, waved the passport in her hand and shouted, “Wait a minute…”
Kevin closed his eyes to have a rest, and vaguely seemed to hear the voice of Bella. Through the side rear view mirror, he found her really chasing behind, and immediately said, “Stop the car.”
The car stopped, and he pushed open the door to get out of the car, leaning on the side of the car with his hands around his chest, looking at the woman panting in front of him in a good mood, ridiculed, “Are you reluctant to let me go?”
Bella gave him a disdainful look and shoved the passport into his arms, “I was afraid you wouldn’t be able to leave.”
As soon as she said that, a man came in front of her, with decent features, gentle and frugal, smiled and asked, “This is the new sister-in-law, right?”
Bella nodded suspiciously, “You are?”
“Oh, my name is Alvin. I’m Chi’s secretary and lover. Nice to meet you.”
“Lover?”
Bella was shocked, and petrified on the spot. She looked up at Kevin, thinking that he would deny, but he did not deny, but also sat back in the car as if nothing had happened.
“Sister-in-law, I’ve been stretching my hand out for half a day.”
Alvin reminded him awkwardly, and Bella reluctantly shook hands with him.
“That, we’re in a hurry to get to the airport, so we gotta go.”
“Wait.”
Bella called out to him and asked in a deep voice, “What exactly is the relationship between you two?”
Alvin looked back at Kevin and quietly answered, “Truthfully, a gay relationship.”
In disbelief, she went to the window and bent down to question Kevin, “Did’t you say you aren’t gay?”
Kevin ignored her questioning and glared at Alvin, “Why don’t you get in the car?”
Alvin immediately got into the car and waved, “Don’t worry, sister-in-law, with me by his side, he won’t be lonely…”
She felt sick. In fact, she was not sure about if she was choked by the dust, or by what Alvin said that he wouldn’t let Kevin be lonely.
No wonder that he hated women so much. It turned out that he liked men. Bella asked him before, but he didn’t admit it. She had never thought about what she should do if Kevin was gay?
When she returned home listless, Lena had already gotten up and was strolling outside in the garden. Seeing that she looked depressed, Lena came to ask her, “Bella, what’s wrong?”
