Finally due to her silence, Kevin left her room. She closed the door, and lay on the bed tired, gritting her teeth, thinking the bed pillow as that jerk and wanting to tear it into pieces.
What elopement, wink, clearly were not the case, but he just put these unwarranted charges on her. Bastard. He better not let her catch him having an affair with another woman, otherwise he would suffer.
Giggling, the door suddenly opened. She sat up in shock, “What’s wrong?”
Kevin stood outside the door and ordered with an expressionless face, “Take down my number.”
Bella was startled and deliberately embarrassed him, “Hey, last night when I said to swap numbers, who said it wasn’t necessary?”
“Don’t talk so much nonsense. Take down my number now.”
Kevin looked at her in reprimand. She saw his embarrassment, and finally felt more comfortable, “Oh good, you say.”
“136*****”
“Do you mark it down yet?”
“Yes.”
“Make a call.”
Bella dialed the numbers and Kevin’s phone rang. He turned around satisfactorily and left without closing the door for her.
“All you know how to do is open the door and not close it. How rude!”
She yelled herself over to close the door. Her hand just reached out, and Kevin coldly appeared in front of her again. She was really shocked, asking, “What’s wrong again?”
“I forgot to remind you that you must be home by ten o’clock from now on.”
“What about the delay?”
“Then go where you like, and don’t come into this house.”
“Is it everyone in this family, or just me?”
“What do you think?”
With a raised eyebrow, Kevin looked at her like an idiot and pulled the painting in front of him, blocking their view.
……
Early in the morning, Bella woke up very early and tried to sneak out of the room before Kevin got up. But he got up earlier than her and was packing his bags.
Surprised up front, she wondered, “What’s this for? It’s not like I’m mad at you and you run away from home, is it?”
Kevin lazily looked up, being annoyed and asking, “Don’t you feel that you are more humorous recently?”
He didn’t say anything, and she realized that in the past, in the Burne-Browns, she was rarely joking. But in the face of this man who was rumored to be indistinguishable from the devil, she had no fear, and even thought he was quite cute when he wasn’t losing his temper.
“Alright, no more jokes. Where exactly are you going?”
“Business trip!
Kevin closed his suitcase, took his cell phone to make a call, and asked succinctly, “Have you arrived yet?”
“It’s been an hour of waiting…”
“I’m going down now.”
He hung up the phone, picked up his suitcase and headed out. Thinking it seemed like he should say something, so he turned back and said, “It’s nice to finally have a few days when I don’t have to see your nasty face.”
When he turned around, Bella said in her heart, “Same here…”
