“Will you stop talking to me in a commanding tone every time?” Bella was sulky and gave him an evil eye, “Originally I had a bit of appetite when you had a better attitude, but now after listening to you, I have a bit less appetite.”
Kevin snorted, “I came up to call you already for your dignity. Don’t be ungrateful.”
“Thank you for giving me face, but I’m not going to give you face, so please go out and don’t bother me again.”
“Are you kicking me out again? Don’t forget this is my house!”
“It’s your home as well as mine. We are husband and wife. We are equal. You have the right to come in. I have the right to let you out.”
Kevin had never been so disregarded by a woman before. He became so angry that he turned green and pinched her wrist to warn, “If you’re not a woman, I would have dealt with you long ago!”
“Do you think I’ll give in to you just because you say so? I, Bella, am not frightened.”
Kevin regretted. He indeed married this rude woman. How did he give this woman the opportunity in the first place? If he knew that giving her a way out would make troubles for himself, he wouldn’t have done it.
“I’m going to ask you one last time. Are you going downstairs or not?”
His handsome face fell with rage. So Bella’s tone softened a bit as she saw him angry, “I know it must have been Mom who threatened you, and I don’t want to embarrass you. So I go downstairs with you for dinner, but you have to promise me a request.”
