Bella arrived at Alice’s house and upon meeting her, Alice stared at her luggage and asked, “What’s wrong with you? Have you just got kicked out after married, right?”
“No.”
She shook her head weakly, dragging her luggage silently into the house.
Alice was her college classmate and her best friend, and they had stayed together as teachers in B Middle School after their graduation, so they were extremely on good terms.
“What the hell happened?”
Bella smiled tiredly, “It’s nothing. Don’t ask, let me be quiet for a while.”
Alice sighed and sat next to her, “You can’t have a good life after you marry a man who divorces many times.”
“It’s not as bad as you think.”
“Just don’t hold on. if it wasn’t that serious, why would you be at my house right now? I can’t even imagine how devastated Louis will be if he comes back to find that you’re married.”
“Why are you dragging him into this again? I don’t have any relationship with him. Others don’t know that, but you know it well.”
Louis was the youngest and most promising male principal in B Middle School. Because he was handsome, many female students and teachers are charmed. But he only liked Bella alone from the first time she got into school. No matter how much others were in love with him, he was only in love with Bella alone.
“I just want to remind you. If you really can’t live with your husband, just get a divorce. Louis loves you so much, so he won’t mind your ephemeral marriage.”
Bella glared at me and said helplessly, “Then I’m afraid the first person to die of sadness is none other than you.”
Since they were good friends, how could she know Alice’s feelings?
Kevin drove the car along the road back three times, but did not find Bella. When he was annoyed, he skimmed the business card in the corner, throw from the window by Wilson in the corner in the afternoon.
He dialed the number on the card. When the phone once connected, he did not say nonsense, but directly asked, “Is Bella home?”
As soon as Wilson heard Kevin’s voice, he was excited and answered incoherently, “No, no, what’s wrong?”
“We just had a little trouble, so does she have any close friends or places she might go?”
It was a brief silence, as if Wilson was trying to think, but what he answered was unsatisfactory, “Well… I’m not really sure. She doesn’t usually communicate with us, and we don’t ask her much, so…”
Beeping. Kevin hung up the phone, mocked and snorted that Bella must be extremely unloved at home usually, or else she wouldn’t let him accompany her to her home and act affectionately.
Opening the window, the cold wind hit him in the face, and he suddenly sobered up a bit. He suddenly felt a bit ridiculous. Why would he come out to a woman who wouldn’t go home with him? It wasn’t like he would do it, nor was it something he should do. He started the engine to end what in his eyes was an extremely ridiculous act.
When he got home, the atmosphere was pretty good, and he asked uncertainly, “Is that woman back?”
“Yeah, Bella is back.”
Lena smiled and snapped to reply.
“Why didn’t anyone inform me of her return? Didn’t know I was out looking for her?”
His angry questioning made him feel even more like a fool.
It was only then that Blanche spoke, “You’re the one who lost her on the way. How can you be more cautious if you’re not allowed to suffer.”
“So you think that after this, next time I’ll care more about that woman?”
“At least you won’t leave her alone on the side of the road next time!”
Lena asserted with certainty.
“Well, we’ll see then.”
Kevin turned around and went upstairs. At this time, no one should mess with him, because he was furious.
Never before had any woman dared to torment him like this. Never before had any woman dared to bully him – Bella, you were going to be dead!
