“Kîll that child!” Harengon yelled, making the lion spirit who was interrupted flinch.
“Harengon, we can’t kîll Tiffany, never. I would rather take the blame for leaving the mountain that day. We can…”
“Who cares about that?! That girl will cause a mess when Akilang wakes up,” Lukas, the fire guardian interrupted.
“The lion spirit and I will always stay close to her, we will stop her from causing problems,” the mountain guardian vowed.
“Chephirah?” Harengon turned to look at the lion spirit whose look on her face shows that she couldn’t settle with her decision to kîll the little lady.
“We can’t kill that girl. She’s just exposed to another side of life. She became happy after her seventeen years of existence. I believe she will do a better job even when the demon gets unleashed, I believe in her,” Chephirah hit her chest in assurance.
“Chephirah, Benroy… I will strip you both of your position and send you on an exile to the end of the world if that girl should take a life, take my word for it,” Harengon said and stood up slowly.
“S… She will strip us of our position?” the mountain guardian stammered.
“We’ll take our leave. Till the next gathering,” Chephirah stood up, bowed deeply, glanced at the mountain guardian, and then vanished into thin air.
“I’ll take my leave,” the mountain guardian stood up, bowed, and then disappeared.
“Those two… It took a while lot of work and time to trap Akilang in the mountain nine hundred years ago, how could they think they could control him that easily?” Euphoria exhaled.
“Right,” Lukas nodded his head.

Friday.
Western high school.
“Are you seriously joining the pink angel singing group?” Zoey giggled in excitement as she walked slowly beside Tiffany.
“Yeah. I guess singing suits me better, right?” Tiffany glanced at her friend.
“Yeah! In fact, everything suits you better,” Zoey grinned.
“Tsk, you didn’t need to exaggerate.”
“I meant it though,” Zoey smiled.
“How is it with Declan? Did you accept to be his FAKE girlfriend?” Tiffany asked and Zoey stopped walking which made her stop walking and turn to look at her.
“You didn’t need to stress the FAKE. As for that, I’m still thinking about it,” Zoey glared at Tiffany playfully.
“If a look could kill…” Tiffany gritted her teeth, grabbed Zoey by her arm, and pulled her along.
“Zoey, do you think your members will welcome me into their group?”
**
“Hell no! We can’t have this freak in our midst!” The group leader, Clair with her blonde hair, with a touch of pink, yelled as soon as Zoey announced to them that Tiffany was going to join the group.
“Excuse me?” Zoey frowned defensively.
“You heard me, right, Zoey. I can’t have this lady in our group,” Claire folded her hands tightly across her chest and strolled towards them gently.
“Why? Do we have a problem?” Tiffany asked.
“Yes, we do have a problem! Girl, lower your pride! ‘do we have a problem?’ How rude?!” Claire hit her leg angrily on the ground.
“Tsk…” Tiffany shook her head.
“I don’t understand what is going on. It’s not like you guys have ever met,” Zoey creased her brow.
“Really? What the fûck is going on in this school that I don’t know about? I saw how rude you are to the Dax. I saw how you were and how you acted. Do you think I want someone like you here? Oh, please,” Claire hissed and walked back to where she was standing.
“Claire!” Zoey shouted.
“Girls, let’s begin!” She ignored.
“Really?” Zoey furrowed her brow.
“You are still welcome In this group but not that girl,” she hissed.
“Zoey, you stay, I’ll go look for somewhere else, okay?” Tiffany placed her hand on Zoey’s shoulder gently and whispered to her.
“Hell no! Hey, Claire, get my name off your fûcking list for I’m out of here!” Zoey screamed and everyone murmured.
“Zoey!” Tiffany scolded.
“Babe, I’m going with you. Let’s go find our ways together. I’d rather leave with you than stay with this bunch of ignorant,” she hissed, grabbed Tiffany’s hand, and then prepared to walk away.
“You will regret this, Zoey, I swear,” Claire clenched her fist.
“Huh,” Zoey turned to look at her again.
“It’s you who will regret this!” With that, she pulled Tiffany and then stormed away.
**
“Yo! Easy,” Aiden exclaimed as soon as Tiffany and Zoey bumped into him right in front of the classroom they had just walked out of.
“What is wrong?” Aiden creased his brow, staring at the angry look on Zoey’s face.
“Can you imagine those imbeciles?! They refused to let Tiffany be in the group,” Zoey hissed.
“Why?”
“Of course, my baby became so popular a few days after she joined the school. What do you expect?” Zoey breathed.
“Really? This is… Crazy,” Aiden chuckled.
“I know, right?” Zoey groaned.
“Why are you mute, Anny? You’re disappointed?” Aiden asked.
“No, I just didn’t like the fact that Zoey left her group because of me,” Tiffany pick on her fingers.
“Come on, babe. Don’t feel bad about it, okay? I don’t regret what I did at all,” Zoey patted her back.
“You know what? I haven’t lost my charm, I can go in there and have then take you both in. Cool, right?” Aiden winked at them.
“No!”
“No!”
Tiffany and Zoey chorused.
“Why?” Aiden creased his brow.
“Zoey practically made mouth there. It would be a big shame to back there with your influence,” Tiffany answered.
“My thoughts exactly,” Zoey nodded her head.
“Then what do we do? Will you both play racket?” Aiden teased.
“Wait… I fûcking have an idea!” Zoey screamed in excitement.
“Which is?” Aiden and Tiffany raised their brows.
“Let’s leave here first. I won’t have anyone steal my beautiful idea,” Zoey snapped her fingers and hurried away.
Tiffany and Aiden stared at each other for a few seconds and then shrugged their shoulders off.
”Come on!” Zoey shouted and they both rushed after her hurriedly.
**
“So, what does this beautiful idea entail?” Tiffany asked as soon as they settled on the chair in a vacant classroom.
“Let’s form a group, the three of us!” Zoey said with a huge smile plastered across her face.
”What?!” Tiffany and Aiden beaded their brows.
“Let’s create a singing group!” Zoey said in excitement again.
“B… but why?” Aiden creased his brow.
“Just do this for us. Okay?” Zoey rolled her eyes at him.
“Okay, but to do that, we need to be four to create a group. You know that, right?” Aiden tilted his head.
“Ah… Wait, I have an idea. Aiden, give me Declan’s number. I deleted it as soon as he called me that night. Hurry!” Zoey said and removed her phone from her pocket hurriedly.
Even though he was confused, Aiden unlocked his phone and gave it to her. While Zoey search his phone to get Declan’s number, Aiden couldn’t help but crease his brow in wonder.
“Yo! Thank you,” Zoey returned the phone and dialed the number.
After it rang for a while, Declan picked up the call.
“Hi.”
“Hey, it’s Zoey. I’m in with the deal but on one condition,” Zoey grinned.
“Really? What’s the condition?” Declan asked.
“First of all, get your àss outta there and come here. I gotta discuss something with you,” Zoey said.
“I’m about to go to the pool. I’m busy so later,” Declan frowned.
“Now, or never!” Zoey shouted and Tiffany shook her head.
“Zoey?” Declan whispered.
“I’m in the vacant class beside the conference room,” Zoey said hurriedly and then hunged up.
“What the…” Aiden opened his mouth agape.
“Yo, bîtch,” Tiffany shook her head.
“Yeah, I’m a badass. He’s gonna come,” Zoey shrugged her shoulder.
“Yeah, he needs you badly at the moment… But after he finished swimming. That dude loves swimming more than anything,” Aiden chuckled.

Unknown…
“Good afternoon, boss,” the informant bowed as he glared at the back view of his boss.
“Did you find anything?” He asked, not turning to look at him.
“Yes,” he answered.
“Finally!” the boss exclaimed and then turned to face the other guy.
“What is it?” he asked and strolled towards him.
“I was able to get a group photo that was taken eight years ago when a donor came to donate at the Orphanage home,” he answered, removing the old photo from his pocket, and dropping it on the table before his boss.
“Here she is,” he said as he pointed at the girl who stood alone in the picture.
She looked cold and the fridge of her hair covered her eyes.
“This is my daughter?” The man frowned and looked closer at the picture.
“Yes, sir.”
“Why did she look this way?” He furrowed his brow, running his hand on the image of the little girl.
“According to what I’ve heard, she’s the most aloof of all. She had gone one week without saying a word to anyone. And… Sh… she…”
“She’s what?!”
“She’s weird. She looked like she was possessed!” he answered.
“My daughter lived like that?” the sniffed.
“Yes.”
“Damn!”
“I’ve gone to visit the woman who was her dormitory mother, she said she could get her pictures. She had retired so she said she practically kept her pictures when she left the Orphanage home. She said she had not been at peace ever since she let go of the girl,” the informant added.
“What in the world?”
“Something seems off though, she won’t say anything further. She only said she regret letting her go. She won’t say more,” he said.
“Then I’ll visit her personally,” the boss smirked.
“B… Boss.”
“She will give me the answer I need. Is my title a joke to you? Huh, she dares not lie to the Senator, yeah,” he nodded his head.
