“That àsshôlé, I can’t believe I’ve been crushing on him for the past two years!” Zoey grumbled as she began to ascend the stairs.
“Who the hell does he think he is? Does he think he is cute? Hahaha, funny! That ugly dumpling whose hair looks like bird poop. Wait, he called me his girlfriend just because he wanted to chase Lauren away from him?! Aish!” she stopped walking and kicked the stairs with her left leg.
“Ah!” she bit her lower lip as she felt the pain in her leg.
”Fûck,” she hissed then resumed walking.
However, she stopped walking as a hand curled around her neck then turn to look at the person.
“You?” She furrowed her brow as she saw Xyler smiling at her.
“Hi, baby. I saw you enter Declan’s room. Went to beg him for a fûck?” he impersonated a pose, his hand still around her neck.
“Get the fûck off me!” she kicked his stomach with her elbow.
“Bîtch!” Xyler pushed her away and she fell.
“Your mama,” she stood up then turn to resume ascending the stairs.
“W… What?!” Xyler frowned his face then resumed walking.
He had always thought Tiffany’s friend was going to be an easy target… But this?!
“Hey, why the hell did you mention my mama’s name!” Xyler grabbed her hand to face him then glanced at the students who wanted to ascend and descend the stairs but could not because of what was going on.
“When did I mention your mama’s name!” Zoey snatched her hand from him.
“What? You did, bîtch!” Xyler snapped.
She did, or did she not?
Hell no, there was no way his ears could fail him.
“I didn’t, àsshôlé!” Zoey retorted.
“W… What? Àsshôlé? How dare you call me that?!” He widened his eyes in anger.
“You called me a bîtch. Only a mad person will know another person is màd. In that sense, you are an àsshôlé because you think of me as one, duh,” she rolled her eyes.
“How dare you?!”
Xyler raised his hand to slap her but a hand held his hand tightly. It wasn’t the girl in front of her.
The girl in front of him had already shivered in fear, so who the fûck was holding his hand?
He turned slowly then met with that fierce eyes he hàted with passion.
“Hey, you wanna hit my girl?” Tiffany’s deep voice came out.
“Why? You wanna play superhero?” Xyler smirked trying to let go of his hand.
“No. I can’t just watch you hit her. Gosh, I’m so glad we left the rooftop, right, Aiden?” She glanced back at Aiden who couldn’t stop staring at Xyler like he was a piece of shit.
“Huh,” he groaned, not tearing his eyes off Xyler.
“Tiff!” Zoey pouted then moved closer to Tiffany.
“It’s a good thing you are sharp-mouthed, but you shouldn’t let motherfûcking assholes hit you,” Tiffany glanced at her.
“I know, right?” Zoey smiled.
“Do you always love to play the superhero? “Xyler creased his brow, determined to make Tiffany lose face in front of all the students that had gathered.
“You wouldn’t expect me to watch while you hurt my friend, right?” she let out a soft smirk.
Xyler tried to remove his hand from her grip but it was as if iron was cladded around his wrist. He was unable to remove his hand and that lady was still wearing her normal look.
What the hell was her power?!
“The next time you hurt my friend or even try to talk to her, I’ll see you to hell, I swear,” with that, she released her grip on his hand, pushing him against the wall.
Xyler tried not to let it show on his face that his back hurts from how hard the girl had pushed him and tried to regain his stand but couldn’t help but groan in pain as he held his back.
”Let’s go,” Tiffany smiled at Zoey, locked their arms together then walked past him.
“I’ll come back for you. You and I have unfinished business to attend to, and you know that,” Aiden said to Xyler then walked past him.
“Tiffany!” Xyler forcefully stand up then looked down at Tiffany who had descended the stairs.
Tiffany, Zoey, and Aiden stopped walking then turned to look at Xyler.
“I challenge you to a fistfight after school hours. The loser gets to do whatever the winner wants,” Xyler shouted.
“Hehehe, who fights with a loser?” Tiffany raised a brow then turn to leave.
“I’ll wait for you at the field for fifteen minutes before I leave. If you do not show up, term yourself as the loser because I’ll make you see yourself as one,” Xyler hardened his gaze.
“Tsk… Seriously,” Tiffany hissed then walked away with Zoey and Aiden.
“What are you all looking at?!” Xyler screamed at the students that were still standing.
“Wait, you! Come here with your phone, now!” he glared at a younger girl down the stairs.
”Hurry!” he yelled and the girl fidget as she ascend the stairs slowly.
“How dare you take videos of what just happened here?!” He snatched the phone.
“I… I wasn’t taking any pictures,” she shook her head.
“How dare you lie!” with that, Xyler smashed the phone against the wall, pick the pieces from the floor, and smash it against the wall again.
“If I should find a single picture or video of what happened today on the school site, I’ll track the person that uploaded it and make you regret your action,” he threatened, pushed the girl aside then descended the stairs angrily.
“And…” he stopped walking.
“All of you should gather to watch how I take Tiffany down,” he gritted his teeth then resumed walking as the students hurriedly pave way for him.
“M… My phone…” The girl whose phone Xyler spoilt knelt and began to pack the pieces, sobbing.
¶¶
”Is it only me who thinks Xyler has changed? ”
“I guess he’s just revealing his true color now that he made Aiden leave.”
“I know, right? I heard Aiden left because of him.”
“I pray Tiffany will take him down. He’s getting too arrogant for my liking. ”

“Anny, you don’t need to fight Xyler, okay? That dude is quite a fighter,” Aiden said as they entered a vacant classroom, obviously worried.
“Who cares about that?” Tiffany rolled her eyes.
“Tiff… Don’t be stubborn. Don’t go,” Zoey protested.
“You both know that fighting Xyler is a piece of cake, right?”
“No!” Aiden and Zoey chorused.
“Tsk…” She shook her head.
“You know what, I’ll go to him and fight in your place,” Aiden offered.
“No, I must fight him to win then have him follow my order as the loser,” Tiffany smiled.
“She doesn’t listen,” Zoey glanced at Aiden.
“Tell me something I don’t know,” he shook his head, staring at her.

After school hours…
News had spread across the school about the challenge between Xyler and Tiffany but the funniest part was that everyone thinks Tiffany challenged Xyler to a fight.
Everyone had already gathered to watch the fight, they had already formed a huge circle and in the middle, Xyler and Tiffany were going to fight each other.
*
Declan was also interested in watching the fight and he was already prepared to go to the field when Aiden barged in.
“I see you guys have nothing better to do before Xyler challenged that girl into a fistfight,” Aiden dipped his hand in his pocket.
“That girl challenge Xyler, she had the gut to challenge a member of Dax!” Declan retorted.
“I was there! Xyler challenged her, what am I even saying? It’s not like you’re going to believe my word over his. By the way, call yourselves DX, I’m no longer a member and the A belongs to me, I hope you understand,” Aiden turned to leave.
“Hehe, yeah, take your A away, it’s very easy to get many As. Trust me, I’ll do a better job in finding a trustworthy A. Seems like the friendship for over ten years seems nothing to you as you could break it over a trivial issue,” Declan said with a disgusted look on his face and Aiden turned to look at him slowly.
“Trivial issues you say? Huh, it is you who see our relationship as nothing over that dude. Whatever, I just pray you realize the kind of person Xyler is before he comes at you. I doubt if he is only doing going to do this to me,” Aiden said then turned to walk away.
“Tiffany!” Declan called out and Aiden stopped walking again, turning to look at Declan.
“What happen to her?”
“I looked into that girl and it is such a pity you are falling for a girl without a past and a future,” he tilted his head then began to walk slowly towards Aiden.
“What do you mean?” Aiden creased his brow.
“The only thing my guy could find about her was that she is a salesgirl at a sandwich bar and lives in a very rough environment where only a few people live. She doesn’t have friends… neither does she have a mother or a father. Wow, don’t you also find her amusing? She is especially strong for a tiny lady. I mean, even you as a man, can not lift me with my neck with one hand but your cute little girl raised me with one hand that day in her classroom. Did you remember? Don’t you find her weird also? There’s no record of her being a taekwondo fighter or whatever. What do you think, don’t you also think she is strange?” Declan dipped his hand in his pocket stylishly, standing in front of Aiden who doesn’t look shocked or shaken.
“So?”
“So?” Declan repeated.
“You know ladies like this are my type of women. Vanessa was like this when we met her, did you also find her strange?”
“That is natural! Vanessa came from a wealthy family, everyone knows where she comes from, and we all know Vanessa is very soft when it comes to fighting with people. You know!” Declan yelled.
“I don’t care who Tiffany is or how everybody sees her. I like her and I mean it. I know it’s too fast but trust me, it is real. Don’t speak Ill of her in my presence ’cause I won’t think twice in coming for you. Excuse me,” Aiden turned swiftly then walked away.
“That fool!” Declan screamed and at that moment, his phone rang.
“Yes?” He answered.
“Dude, it’s Xyler. The fight is starting,” he answered.
“I’m on my way. By the way, don’t forget to attack her with a knife when you think you’re losing. Don’t underestimate that girl,” Declan said, ended the call, then walk outside.
=
Xyler walked inside the circle majestically, looked around, and smirk as he didn’t see the sight of Tiffany.
“Looks like someone is so scared to lose,” Xyler smiled and everyone murmured, agreeing with him.
“Looks like someone can’t wait to lose,” Tiffany said then walk towards him as the students pave way for her.
¶¶
“She came.”
“I knew she was going to come.”
“Let’s see how this goes.”
¶¶
“Woah, I guess the students of Western high love to watch things like this. Well, it’s once in a lifetime,” Tiffany said then glanced at Zoey who was wearing a dissatisfied look then Aiden who wasn’t even looking in their direction.
“I have things to do, so let’s make it quick as soon as we can,” Tiffany said then raised a brow as soon as her eyes met with Declan’s.
“I’ll be the referee. You can’t do this without one,” Declan walked into the circle with a smirk plastered across his face.
“You can say that again,” Xyler smiled.
“You both ready?” Declan asked.
“Sure,” Xyler grinned.
“Okay! Here I come…!” with that, Declan blew the whistle then moved back for the fight to begin.
Xyler stood on his spot and beckon to Tiffany to come to him but the lady wasn’t having any of it. She crossed her arms across her chest, waiting for Xyler to attack her first.
Xyler hissed loudly and then run towards her, ready to punch her as soon as he gets to her. Well, Tiffany was never caught unguarded, she dodged the blow swiftly. While Xyler kept trying to attack her, Tiffany was quick to dodge it all.
After a while of dodging all of Xyler’s move which was annoying the guy already, she folded her fist then prepared to punch him. Actually, she did that to mislead him, as Xyler tried to dodge the oncoming punch, Tiffany kicked his leg and he landed on his stomach immediately.
¶¶
“FÛCKKKKKKK!!”
“That was smooth!”
¶¶
By now, Aiden was already watching and he smiled proudly as he watched the scene in front of him.
“There’s a weapon that could be used against you. It will be a problem if your wound closes up in front of everybody,” the voice that disturbs her the most, Akilang’s said within her.
Tiffany bent over Xyler and pulled him up with the collar of his shirt then have him face her, as soon as he faced her, Tiffany began to throw punches on his face.
“It was you who said a fist fight, how dare you bring in a weapon!” she punched him hard and he fell to the ground immediately, gasping for air.
She bent over him again, dipped her hand in his pocket then removed the kitchen knife he was hiding.
“I won, and you lose. Get better then I’ll tell you what to do,” Tiffany said, then turned to leave.
“Pronounce yourself the winner after you take me down, bîtch!” Declan yelled and Tiffany turn to look at him.
She raised the knife that was in her hand, stared at Declan then threw it swiftly at him.
“Not a chance,” she shook her head as she watched the knife pierce through his shoulder then turn to walk away.
“Gosh, my heart was in my mouth,” Zoey rushed to hug her.
“I told you they didn’t stand a chance, didn’t I?” She wrapped her hands around her then smiled at Aiden.

Unknown…
“Sir!” his guard rushed in.
“Did you find any information on what I asked you?” The man turned to look at the guard that had just entered.
“Not really, sir. I can’t find any information about the baby. I heard she left the Orphanage home when she was nine years old,” he answered.
“They allowed a nine-year-old girl leave the Orphanage home?” The man removed his glasses, bewildered.
“That is how it seems. And, there is no single picture of her. They said they could not find the one they had after she left.”
“What?!”
“According to my findings sir, the girl’s name is Tiffany sir.”
“Tiffany?” He repeated.
”Yes,” he answered.
“Okay, dig up more information regarding this. Thank you,” the man said as he watched his guard bowed then walked out.
“Tiffany…”
“I can’t believe my daughter has been roaming around this wicked world without a father and a mother,” he sighed.
“In two months, you will be eighteen. I pray I find you before then, child,” he said as he spaced out.
