“Aiden!” Tiffany hurried towards him with Zoey trailing right behind her. Aiden was about to smash another wood on the floor and Tiffany caught it swiftly.
“Aiden,” she called out in a whisper and Aiden turn to look at her slowly.
“Tiffany,” Aiden whispered as a drop of tears fall from his eyes.
“Let go of this,” Tiffany glanced at him then at the wood he was still holding tightly.
“I don’t want to,” Aiden shook his head.
“Let go!” Tiffany snatched it from him then threw it away.
“What is wrong with you? Why did you say you were no longer a member of Dax?” with furrowed brow, Tiffany asked.
“I… I don’t know,” he shook his head, staring at her.
“But…”
“Did you also believe that I’m a bad person? Anny, trust me, everything Xyler said was a lie,” Aiden shook his head.
Okay, what was he saying?
What did Xyler say that was a lie?
“I know that…”
Tiffany was still talking when Aiden leaned forward and pulled her into a hug.
“W… What are you doing?” she furrowed her brow then glanced at Zoey who shrugged her shoulder off and mouthed to her to let him be for a while.
“One minute… Let me be like this, just for a minute, please,” Aiden whispered then pulled her more closer.
“Ah… Okay,” Tiffany pressed her lips together.
“I’ll leave you two for a while, I’ll be back, okay?” Zoey whispered to her.
“But…”
“I’ll be back,” Zoey interrupted her then hurried away.
“This girl…” Tiffany hissed.
“Aiden, it’s one minute already,” Tiffany tapped his back.
“Hold on,” Aiden shook his head.
“Come on,” Tiffany hit his back and Aiden broke the hug grudgingly.
“What happened?” Tiffany stared at him.
“I… It’s nothing,” Aiden swallowed hard.
“Nothing? If you knew you were not going to tell me about it, why then did you hug me?” Tiffany frowned hard.
“It’s… Listen, Anny, I…”
“Who is anny?” Tiffany interrupted him.
When she heard him call her that earlier, she thought it was just a slip of tongue, but now that he called her that again.
She knew it wasn’t a slip of tongue.
“You,” Aiden smiled.
“My name is not Anny. I am Tiffany,” she frowned.
“Anny is the short for Tiffany. Only I will call you that, don’t let anyone else call you that, okay?” Aiden leaned forward, smiling.
Wait, wasn’t he the guy who was acting like he was going to dîe of anger earlier.
“Who do you think you are to call me names no one calls me?” still frowning, she asked with her arms akimbo.
“I am your friend, of course,” Aiden smiled.
“Oh…”
Well, she loves the fact that someone addressed himself as her friend.
Just like Zoey, Tiffany couldn’t help but think Aiden was also persistent.
“So, Anny…” Aiden winked at her.
“Whatever. We were discussing about what happened to you. Why did you end things with your guys?” Tiffany asked.
“Oh, that?” Aiden sighed then began to walk away from her, walking towards the railing.
“Tell me,” Tiffany followed him.
“Just this and that. I think staying away from those guys will be the best thing to do at the moment,” he answered as he rested his arms on the railing.
“Why?”
“You see, I’ve known Declan for over Ten years and it kinda hurt to see that he favors Xyler who joined us three years ago more than me.”
“No way… Don’t tell me you’re jealous!” Tiffany widened her eyes.
“Jealous? Oh, please. I am not jealous. Something came up and Declan believed Xyler over me. I mean, he believes that I was the bad guy and Xyler is the good guy just because that asshôle is playing the victim,” Aiden hissed.
“Then are you the good guy?” Tiffany raised a brow.
“Of course, I am the good guy. Always have been, always will be,” he ran his hand through his hair stylishly.
“I see,” Tiffany nodded her head mockingly.
“I swear,” Aiden protested.
“Yeah…” She nodded her head.
“Anny…” Aiden pouted.
“Okay, okay. Gosh, it’s so creepy hearing you call me that? Guy, my name is Tiffany for crying out loud!” Tiffany half yelled and Aiden laughed.
“Yeah, yeah.”
“Aiden!” she glared at him.
“Call my name again, please,” Aiden stopped laughing and turn to look at her.
“Why?” Tiffany frowned her face.
“I… It felt so cute and romantic to hear you call my name,” he winked at her.
“Fûck you, pervert!” Tiffany hissed with a disgusted look on her face.
”Sorry,” Aiden said amidst laughter.
“You are just so annoying!” Tiffany glared at him.
“Sorry,” Aiden pressed his lips together, trying to control himself from laughing again.
“Whatever,” she looked away.
“Anny…”
“It is Tiffany for fûck sake!” Tiffany hit her left leg on the ground in anger.
“Okay, Anny. Oh, Tiffany,” Aiden smiled as he watched her glare at him.
This lady is extremely cute. So cute.
“What are you going to do about your friends? Are you not going to be bored without them?” Tiffany hurriedly changes the topic before the guy starts to annoy her again.
“Oh, I won’t be bored. I have you anyways,” he giggled then hit his shoulder with hers playfully.
“What?” Tiffany creased her brow.
”I said I have you, Anny,” Aiden smiled.
“Oh, shit, Aiden!” Tiffany yelled and Aiden burst into laughter.

Zoey picked on her lower lips nervously as she stood in front of the room where Declan was inside the school clinic.
She had no idea what she was doing there but she just wanted to see his face. The first time she was alone with him was when they took the stairs together one year ago.
She remembered how she had started the conversation that day and how he had snubbed her entirely like she was not a human.
The second time she was alone with him which was also the last time was when she knitted a scarf and went to present it to him.
Thinking about it, it brought back the memories…
FLASHBACK…
”What are you doing here? I did not remember summoning you?” Declan rested his hands on the arms of the couch he had sat on then glanced at the younger lady who stood in front of him, her hands hidden behind her.
“Yes. I… I have something to give you,” Zoey had answered in a shaky voice.
“What?” Declan raised her brow.
Nervously, Zoey brought out the red scarf she had knitted and pointed it at him.
“I knitted this with you in my mind,” she smiled stylishly.
”With what?” Declan smiled, then sat upright.
“W… with you in my mind,” she swallowed hard and he laughed loudly.
“Get out,” his expression turned serious.
“Yeah?” Zoey widened her eyes.
“Get out!” Declan roared which made her drop the scarf unconsciously and dashed out of the lounge.
END OF FLASHBACK~~
“Eish… It has been a year. I doubt if he still hatés me,” Zoey bit her lower lips.
“Whatever. Let’s go in there to check on him,” she shrugged her shoulder then turn the knob of the door.
As she opened the door, she met with the hot but cold face of Xyler then moved aside as the guy brushed past her after sparing her a quick, cold glance.
She rolled her eyes then entered fulling, closing the door behind her gently. As she stared at Declan whose back faced her, she couldn’t help but felt her heart beating fast.
“Did you forget something?” Declan asked not turning to look at who just entered.
“I… erm…” Zoey stammered and Declan sat up as soon as he heard the unmistakable voice of a female then turned to look at Zoey who was still picking on her finger nervously.
“Yes?” he frowned.
“I…”
“Wait, you?!” He interrupted her, widening his eyes.
“Huh?” Zoey held her breath thinking he recognized her.
“Aren’t you that witch’s friend?!” Declan pointed his finger accusingly at her.
Oops.
“Yeah, I am Zoey,” she forced a smile.
“I don’t care. Did your friend tell you to come and check if I’m still alive?” Declan frowned hard.
“N… no, I came to check on you,” Zoey shook her head.
“You… Who does that? Wait, aren’t you that girl who came to me with a red scarf?” he creased his brow.
Busted.
“Y… you remember…” Zoey whispered embarrassingly.
“Of course! You are the only girl who used that creepy line on me. You should have just come straight that you wanna fûck!” Declan half yelled.
“I… what?!” Zoey frowned.
“I don’t like you. I don’t want to fûck you, so just get out,” Declan said with an irritated look on his face.
How rude!
“Who said I wanna fûck you also?” Zoey sneered.
“Huh?”
“Huh! You should be glad I’m not one of those girls running after your pants!” Zoey hissed then turned to leave.
“Did you just talk back at me?” Declan got out of the bed then grab her wrist swiftly.
“Y… yes!” she stammered as she stared at his face from up close.
God, how the héll could she have a crush on this annoying fellow.
“I…”
He had just begun when the door burst open and Lauren entered with a bouquet in her hand, her girls trailing behind her.
“What is going on here!” she shouted and dropped the flower.
“What are you doing here?” Declan asked, not letting go of Zoey’s hand.
“I came to check on you!” Lauren yelled.
“I’m fine, so leave,” Declan hissed then faced, Zoey.
“Declan!” Lauren screamed.
“What?!” Declan let go of Zoey’s hand.
“Hey, you leave this place this instance!”
” She’s not going anywhere,” Declan grabbed Zoey’s hand again.
“Why?” Lauren frowned her face.
“Because she’s my girlfriend, so leave for you are intruding our privacy,” Declan answered and Zoey widened her eyes.
Whose girlfriend?!
“I’ll report this to my father and you sure know what will happen if your father comes to hear of this,” Lauren gritted her teeth then walked out of the room in anger.
As soon as she walked out, Zoey snatched her hand away from Declan then stepped back.
“Whose girlfriend?” she furrowed her brow.
“I did that to drive her away. You should be glad I called you that. Many are dying to hear that,” Declan smirked.
“Screw you,” Zoey hissed and turned to leave.
“Fûck you,” Declan hissed as he watched her walk out of the room.
Now, he gotta get prepared for the words he’s gonna hear from his dad for chasing away the daughter of his best friend.
The girl he wants to be his own wife.
After a while, a knock was heard on the door and a guy trailed in. He returned to sit on the bed as he remembered the guy he had paid to find information about Tiffany.
“Did you find any useful information about that girl?” He queried.
“I’m sorry but I found nothing useful about her. The only thing I found about her was that she is a salesgirl at a sandwich bar and she lived in a very dirty environment.”
“Eh?”
“I found no records about her previous school. Those living in the vicinity seem to know nothing about her. I asked around the sandwich shop and no one could say anything about her. It’s surprising,” the guy shook his head.
“You did not find the guys she had dated? Her parents, friends… whatever!” Declan frowned.
“None. She seems to be a loner. No one knows her. No one can say a thing about her,” he answered.
“What?!” bewildered, Declan stood from the bed.
“Then what is she? Alien, robot? Wait, is she even human?!” Declan half yelled.
Nah, there’s no way she is not a human.
Come to think of it, that girl is extremely weird.
