Ji Yan touched the envelope, and there was a square card in it, which might be a bank card.
She couldn’t help but think of the thing that Shang Jinshen asked for 500 million before. Did he change his mind so quickly and agree to lend her money?
However, she immediately thought of another person. She was so angry and went out of the company to call Shang Yu An.
When Shang Yu An received her call, he was overjoyed and said in a flattering tone, “Ji Yan, why did you call me? Do you want to see me? I’ll be right there.”
“There’s no need!” Ji Yan quickly refused.
Why would she want to see him? He was lucky she didn’t scold him to death.
“I’m warning you, stop pestering me anymore, and take your money back!” Ji Yan said loudly.
She was very angry. In the morning, Shang Yu An talked to her like that and asked if she was short of money and maybe Shang Yu An gave her the 50 million.
“What? I’m going to give you money, but I haven’t transferred it to you yet!” Shang Yu An said in confusion.
Ji Yan was stunned and her scalp tingled.
She looked up and saw a black car slowly parking in front of her, and the window was half-opened.
The man inside exposed the side of his face, which was the half-destroyed face.
Under the sunlight, this terrifying face became even clearer.
Shang Jinshen’s sudden appearance made Ji Yan feel as if she had eaten plums and stuck in her throat. It was so sour that she found it hard to swallow.
“Ji Yan, what’s wrong?” Shang Yu An was still asking on the phone.
She hung up the phone and walked to the side of the car with heavy steps.
Shang Jinshen turned around and looked at her. When he saw the envelope in her hand, he curled his lips and asked, “Did you go to beg him?”
Ji Yan shook her head like a rattle, “No, I swear. I didn’t ask him for money.”
Shang Jinshen’s eyes were dark, and his gaze seemed to be able to make two holes in her face.
He heard her conversation just now and thought that Ji Yan had gone to ask Shang Yu An for help. Thus, he thought that Shang Yu An brought her the money.
Shang Jinshen said, “Ji Yan, you’re indeed despicable.”
His voice was magnetic, low, and hoarse, with a strong sense of irony, which made Ji Yan suddenly feel ashamed.
Someone got off from the passenger seat. It was Shang Jinshen’s assistant. He said to Ji Yan, “Madam Ji Yan, Mr. Shang asked someone to pass this envelope to you.”
What the assistant said made Ji Yan feel even more ashamed.
“I…” She was lost at words.
Ji Yan saw his assistant reach out to take away the envelope in her hand. She reflexively clenched the envelope tighter.
She looked at Shang Jinshen pleadingly and said, “You said you didn’t want to give it to me, so I didn’t expect it to be from you. There was only a surname on the envelope. I thought it was Shang Yu An!”
The assistant was strong, so he managed to take the envelope back.
“Really? I thought you were going to ask Shang Yu An for help using the way you did last night!” Shang Jinshen sneered.
This insinuating method was so embarrassing.
“I regret it now. As for the money, you can figure it out by yourself!” Shang Jinshen said while pulling up the car window.
His face was cold as he disappeared from Ji Yan’s sight.
“Shang Jinshen, you!” Ji Yan patted the window but didn’t dare to hit it the second time. The car had already driven out quickly.
She patted her forehead out of frustration. She had already gotten 500 million, but she currently lost it.
Although Shang Jinshen had a lot of assets, he was flawed.
He must be very sensitive to things, and he wouldn’t believe that she was sincere to him.
Then, she had to work harder. Even if it was a stone, she could still heat it up.
