“Rafael, stop,”
She said when he kept advancing towards her but he didn’t stop until she had her back against the wall.
“What should I stop Nicole? You are my wife remember?”
“No, not anymore,”
“Says who?”
“Says the divorce papers we both signed,”
She replied trying to push him off but he didn’t budge, he just stood there placed his hand under her chin, and lifted it until she was looking into his eyes.
“Can’t you just look past all that and be with me tonight? I miss you so much Nicole, can’t you just be mine for tonight?”
He asked staggering, informing her that he wasn’t talking in his right senses, he was drunk and if she let him have his way with her she might regret it in the morning but his eyes, they held so much loneliness and sorrow that she couldn’t turn away even when her brain screamed for her to, her heart couldn’t agree, she watched him lower his head, waited for his lips to meet hers and melted into his familiar touch, she thought months away would make her forget how he tasted but that was all a lie, she didn’t forget, he tasted just like he did, with a mix of alcohol, but a lot better, she let him kiss her dragging his hands through her hair and finding their way to the buttons of her blouse, she helped him with them as her body burnt with want, she missed his touch so much that when his hands touched her bare back she almost came undone, he lifted her up and carried her to the bed, dropping her off, she watched him hurriedly take off his clothes and she did the same taking off her trousers and underies, they stood naked before each other, watching each other, they were on each other a few moments later.

Their moans filled the room as they both came undone together, he eased out of her and they both laid together, she had so many thoughts running through her mind, thoughts she didn’t want to have, she only got this night and she should do better than waste it on thoughts, she would do all the thinking tomorrow, for this night, she wanted to have everything she could get, this could be the closure that they both needed, he might not even remember with how wasted he was, she should take this opportunity and use it well.

“Who are you and what are you doing here?”
She asked harshly.
“Huh, I am Rafael’s ex-wife, I brought him home last night,”
She said, she had forgotten about her existence the night before, if she had thought of her maybe she won’t have ended up in bed with Rafael, not that she regretted what happened.
“Oh, wow, now you can go, your services here are no longer needed,”
The woman, Nicole concluded was a rude human and she wanted to put her in her place but she figured it would be best to just leave, there was no need to wait around, if Rafael wakes up and remember their night together he will call her, if he doesn’t she would just to find out if he did remember and if he doesn’t remember then she can just keep living the way she was now.
“Excuse me,”
She said as she exited the house, got in her car, and drove home…
