“That’s not my wife,”
He replied staring at the photo of the woman who looked everything like his but looked nothing like her at the same time, there was no way that was Natalie first of all he left Natalie at home a few hours ago and there is no way she would be in another country already, and also Natalie’s hair wasn’t bleached, and straightened, she looked like a different version of his woman, he was in his office and his secretary had brought in a photo of a woman who they claim to be his wife, since they haven’t seen her outside in a while so they just have assumed she was vacationing in another country if he hadn’t left his wife at home earlier, he was sure he would have fallen for it too, the resemblance was very much, maybe it was her twin because she was still not back from her travel, but she wasn’t someone who would like the attention from what he had heard of her from Natalie so he decided to keep that part to himself.
“I could have sworn it was her, they look so much alike, I couldn’t even say a word, and the fact that your wife hadn’t made any public appearance in weeks sort of made it believable.
“My wife is at home, she is taking time off the media and the public, it’s her decision and I hope everyone would respect it and I am sure the lady in the photo would like her privacy too and not have people invade it, you know what to do right?”
“Yes, sir,”
She answered and left, he was going back to his work when his office door opened again with his secretary blocking whoever it was from entering while telling him he couldn’t see him without an appointment, Steph was pretty new and still had a lot to learn but she was doing a good job since she only started working for him w month ago, Armani had to go on maternity leave since her sister gave birth and couldn’t breastfeed or take care of the baby due to her health condition, he had told her to go and come back whenever the baby was old enough to be left with cares, he still paid her though, she was a good woman and deserve to be rewarded accordingly.
“Steph, who is that let him in,”
He aids getting up as Jones walked in looking like he was out for blood, he looked unkempt somehow, he has been in and out of jail and each day there were new charges against him that soon he won’t even be able to get out of jail again when the people who were backing him had seen that Rafael wasn’t backing than on the fight, they had abandoned him and that’s when other smaller voiced that wasn’t heard before started speaking up and at this rate, Leonard was going to be sent away for a pretty long time and he was glad to be the Genesis of that, an evil man deserves to be served a dose of his own medicine.
“I am sorry sir, he walked in even when I told him not to,”
“It’s okay Steph, you can go back to your office,”
“Thank you, sir,”
Steph responded and left, Rafael folded his hands looking at Jones, he looked out of place, like as if the reality of just what he was facing finally dawned on him, if Rafael didn’t know just how evil Jones can be he would have felt pity for him, but he knew Jones, knew just how greedy he was that he would jeopardize the lives of other people just to gain and he wants even doing anything right with the money instead he was gambling it away.
To what do I own this uninvited visitation, Jones?”
He asked after five minutes of silence.
“Please stop,”
“Stop what? Can you be more clear, I don’t speak cat,”
“You know what I am talking about, have you not done enough? I have lost everything, everything that is in my name, now they are targeting things that are in my wives names, this is not fair, just stop whatever you are doing, I beg you, you have done enough damage,”
“I told you, Jones, that I would watch you crumble, now let’s see how you get out of this one,”
He said, Leonard was finally seeing just how much he was losing the battle, he still looked proud, just a few more expose and he will be done for life along with his company, Rafael didn’t even want to buy the company out, he didn’t want anything dirty coming to his side.
“I am begging you to stop this shit, you are ruining my life, I have a family to care for and you are dragging them into this,” stop roping everyone I care about into this, they weren’t involved, my wives are both big women and had their own money before I married them, don’t take what’s there too.”
“You should have thought of your family when you started the whole thing, I didn’t do anything to them you did with your own hands, you ruined your family and I am just here to help you crumble that castle of lies you built in, what’s more, I don’t have anything to do with whatever is going on with your wife or wives, I don’t even give a fuck, if anyone finds any dirty in them, then they can pull off too,”
He said firmly.
“Don’t do this, I am already going to end up in jail, I already know that but don’t make my family go begging in the streets they don’t deserve that, they didn’t do anything to you,”
Leonard said but it was already too late for him, he was going to pay whether he likes it or not, again, he wasn’t even the one involved with whatever is going on with his wives.
“Do I have to repeat myself that I have nothing to do with whatever is going on with your wives? I don’t know what you think of me but I don’t deal with anything that is not my business,”
