Eddy has always tried to talk to Emily after the incident with Amber but for some reasons he doesn’t know, she was avoiding him. She rarely pick his calls and even when she does and he ask to meet up she will come up with an excuse that she’s busy or has classes to attend.
He hated how he was hanging between because Emily has always been loud about how she couldn’t wait for him to break up with Amber so she can have him for herself. Now that her wish have been granted, she doesn’t want to talk to him anymore and that was provoking him already.
He finally got the news that she is staying with Jessica and decided to go there to look for her. Thankfully, he met her on her way out but she tried to avoid him. He rushed after her and yelled “Why are you avoiding me, Emily?” grabbing her but she just shook his hand away.
“What do you mean by avoiding you? I never did such a thing” she replied but he scoffed at her obvious lie. “If you are not avoiding me then why did you try to run away when you saw me? Why are you not picking my calls? You were the one that wanted me to break up with Amber so why are you running away now? Why are you not coming to me?” he stated and she couldn’t handle his attitude anymore.
“I never told you that I will be coming to you. You were the one that went on about how you are happier with me than when you are with her. You told me that you cannot do without me and I was always available for you unlike Amber, I never told you all those because I can surely do without you!” she snapped to his surprise. He was not sure if what he was hearing from her made sense but how could she turn her back on him? How could she say those words to him when he lost Amber already with the hope that Emily would be there for him.
He staggered back in shock as he fixed his stare on her, he felt betrayed and deceived but Emily was not ready for anything he had to say or do with her. The guilt of betraying Amber’s trust was still pretty much heavy on her heart so she dare not see Eddy unless she wanted to be shameless to the end.
She had thought if Amber breaks up with him, she would be able to have him to herself but reversed was the case. She hated being in an affair with him, she hated herself and felt dirty. It dawned on her that she had lost a sister and friend because of her greediness and she’s not ready to add shamelessness to it.
“You must have taken me for a fool, you made me lose everything and now you didn’t say so? You must be joking. I will make sure you pay for this with Amber too. Now I can see that you both planned it to screw me over, you both played me” he yelled at her but she just walked away.
She doesn’t have that much time to be talking with someone who is confused and also she has so much to catch up with when she skipped school, thanks to him. She also didn’t know the reason why she suddenly hated him, she hated the fact that she did something like that with him and she was mad at herself for stooping so low.
Eddy kicked the trashcan placed besides the building in anger as he watched Emily leave him there. He ended up losing at both ends, his insincerity had caused him more harm than good and he could not just bear the pain of him being at the lose end because they both seemed to have moved on. Amber is now a known artist and she was already moving on with her school life but there he was with nothing, his job wasn’t going well because he had spent so much money trying to cover his affair and also buying gifts for two women.
He was still standing there when Joseph’s secretary came to meet him. “You are Mr. Eddy right?” he heard him ask and he turned to look at him with a strange look. Whoever he was he didn’t know but for him to know his name then he surely knows who he is.
“What can I do for you?” he questioned with an angry look etching on his already stressed face. “I am from someone who wants to relieve you of your pain. He would like to see you regarding your ex-girlfriend and help you get the revenge you want” the man said and he scoffed a bit before laughing hard.
He was already going crazy from what was going on with him and Emily but some random stranger is walking up to him to make the matter worse. He was offering to help him avenge his ex-girlfriend? What a joke!
“I don’t know what you have seen or heard but I don’t even want to be involved with anything or anybody related to that bitch so get the fuck out of my sight right now” he yelled at the secretary who only responded with a business card he stretched forward.
“This is a one-time offer that might not last for so long, if you don’t grab it now then that is the end” the secretary stated coolly and he calmed down a bit to see the content of the business card.
His eyes went wide when he saw the name of Holland group on it, he knew it was surely someone powerful that was interested in his affairs but why? That baffled him. He wanted to turn it down nevertheless but a thought of Amber being in trouble with the person flashed through his mind. An evil smile crept on his face as he thought of it as an opportunity to get rid of her and also get some money to support himself since he was struggling financially.
“Where should I meet him?” he asked with a smirk and the secretary responded with “Come to the CRYPS DINER tomorrow by two in the afternoon” before leaving him to make his decision.
As he went back home, the thought of screwing Amber kept filling his heart and he was enjoying every thoughts he entertained. He already envisioned the scenario of her being in trouble and she pretends to come help her out so she will be indebted to him. He will beg for her forgiveness and she will have no choice than to forgive him.
“Perfect Plan! I am so witty!” he chuckled to himself and whistled in happiness. He could not wait for the next day so he could start carrying out his plan.

He took a taxi to the CRYPS DINER as scheduled by two in the afternoon and met the same man who met up with him the previous day waiting for him at the entrance. “You finally came, I guess it was an irresistible offer” the secretary said to him with an “I won you over” smirk which he just ignored.
“Follow me” the secretary motioned to him and led him to the room where Joseph was waiting for him.
He had already browsed his name and all other information on the business card so he knew his identity right away when he saw him. He couldn’t understand why he wanted to see him since he was Tom’s junior brother but whatever it was for, he was willing to give it a trial.
He went ahead to ask for the reason of the meeting and Joseph just laughed that it was nothing serious, he just wanted to meet with the man whom Amber left for Tom, his older brother. At the sound of these words, he flared up and hit his fist on the table angrily. He was right! Amber cheated on him and left him for her boss! Those were the words what slammed through his thoughts as he shouted it out loud. He couldn’t contain his anger when he got the revelation, although he had suspected but now that he confirmed it with someone who is close enough to say the truth, he was really disappointed and angry.
“That bitch acted like she was a saint all through but she was nothing but a dirty whore” he grunted while Tom just sipped his water with a smile, his plan was working.
“I know how it feels to lose something precious to you just because you don’t have money or fame compared to another man. That is why I am here today to make you an offer that you cannot refuse” Joseph remarked and Eddy looked up to see what he meant by that “And how do you plan to help me?” he questioned.
“Give me an information solid enough to break her” Joseph requested with an evil grin.
