It was the first kiss of both of them, but James was good at it, but Alexa didn’t even know to accept the kiss; she was suffocating, punching on his chest.
But James continued avoiding her struggle. Tears started rolling down her cheeks, at the same time, they heard a voice outside the bathroom, as if someone was about to enter.
In a blink of an eye, James picked Alexa and entered one bathroom and pinned her to the wall, but his lips never left her lips; the softness of her lips was making it hard to control him.
After a few minutes, he left her lips and started kissing on her neck and collar bone. Alexa pressed her lips tightly so that her sobbing voice wouldn’t go out, and people outside would hear it.
But what James did next, Alexa was dumbstruck.
James slid down the strap of her dress from one shoulder and started kissing her fiercely, leaving a hickey.
Alexa suppressed her voice by pressing her palm tightly on her mouth; the moment she heard the main door of the bathroom closed, she was sure that person went out; she pushed James with all her strength and slapped James on his face and ran out of the bathroom straightening her dress and wiping her tears.
James was standing there stunned; he could not believe that he was slapped by his would-be wife and that too on the day of their engagement.
He also realized that what he did was wrong, he lost his senses when he saw her crying, he couldn’t bear to see tears in her eyes but the thought of her going away from him made him lose his temper.
He straightened his clothes and walked out of the ladies bathroom, but he didn’t go to the party hall directly; he walked towards a balcony and smoked, lost in his thoughts, by the time he came back to the party hall, the slap mark on his face faded away a little.
When he entered the party hall, he saw Alexa standing with Alice; her eyes were swollen. It hurt him, to her like this.
He thought that she must have told everything to Alice; Alice waved at him; he walked to Alice thinking what to say to them when she asked about his behavior just now.
He walked to Alice and stood in front of Alice and Alexa; Alice said, “Oh dear, Alexa is not feeling well; she has a severe migraine headache. Can you please drop your fiancé home? We still need to entertain the guests.”
Alexa tried to interrupt, “Mom, it’s fine; I can go with the driver.”
James intervened, saying, “Aunty, don’t worry; I will take care of my fiancé.”
Alice smiled, kissed Alexa’s face, and said, “Baby, rest at home, I will ask the butler to prepare your medicine, sleep well after taking medicines” after that, Alice left both of them alone.
After Alice left, James held Alexa’s hand firmly and walked out of the party hall; Alexa was hell scared of what she had just done.
But she was furious. How could he steal her first kiss like this? He also left a hickey on her neck. Does he know how hard it was for her to hide it with everyone’s eyes?
She thought he would surely punish her for slapping him; everyone knows about his temper. No one in his life has ever hit him, not even his parents, and she did it, he will definitely kill her tonight.
She thought she wouldn’t see tomorrow’s sun, she wanted to pull her hands back from his grip, but at the same time, she didn’t want to create a scene in front of guests, so she followed him obediently.
He took her to the parking lot and made her sit on the passenger seat.
After he settled on the driver’s seat, he said coldly, “Seat belt.”
Alexa immediately pulled the seat belt and tied it.
Drive for home was around an hour; Alexa was hell scared, but she was so exhausted because she was crying so much that she didn’t realize it when she dozed off.
James watched all her actions from the corner of his eyes, he had a cold expression on his face all the time, but when he saw her sleeping so cutely, his heart melted immediately.
He drove carefully, trying to slowly cross the road bumpers, not to disturb her sleep.
The next morning when Alexa opened her eyes, she found herself in a new place; it was not her room.
Memories from last night flashed in her mind, and she thought that James must have killed her. And she was already in heaven because the view of this place was no less than heaven.
The room’s interior was so beautiful and simple in white color; she thought she was already dead, and she is in heaven, but what she was more curious about was how James killed her that she doesn’t even remember it.
She tried to get up to explore heaven more, but at this moment, she realized that she was sleeping in someone’s arms; when she turned her face to look at the face of the owner of arms, she screamed and said, “You also died with me?”
James woke up because of her screaming and what he heard after waking up, he was utterly confused, and he said in a husky voice, “What nonsense are you talking about?”
Even though he was trying to show that he was angry, the overloaded cuteness on Alexa’s face was making it hard for him to be angry, and when he looked at her dress his throat went dry.
She was wearing his shirt, which he only changed yesterday night when she was not ready to get up.
He remembers how hard he controlled himself from doing anything.
Alexa was still dumb and thought that they both died and said, “I know, you were angry for hitting you and you wanted to kill me but how did you die?”
