She wore simple flat shoes and headed out in the car which Simon had already prepared.
In the car Alice was very happy, she was happy to come out after so many days.
Alex would not allow her to go out apart from her checkups. He will take a walk after dinner in the garden every night but he will not let her go out of the house.
Sometimes she felt she was imprisoned but she did not oppose it because she knew it was for the betterment of her and their princess.
After an hour’s drive she reached the office, she went to reception and asked the receptionist for Alex, as she had already worked as his bodyguard here so no one stopped her and she took Alex’s personal lift and went to his office floor.
This floor was silent as only Alex and his few secretaries’ sits on this floor. And at this time no one was available on the floor so Alice thought it must be because of lunchtime.
She directly headed to Alex’s office and opened the door without knocking and the view in front of her froze the blood in her body and her breath hitched.
Alex was having sex with Selena on his working table.
Alice’s body didn’t move for a moment as if her brain didn’t get enough blood to react, she was stuck to her place. She saw that even after Alex saw her looking at him he didn’t stop in his actions.
Selena said in a mocking tone “Alex, honey your wife is here”
Alex looked at her with no emotions as if she was no one to him and said “Don’t mind her” and continued his action with Selena
This was enough for Alice to take before her tears fell for this undeserving man she almost ran back to the lift. Her ears were ringing with the voice of Selena’s moaning.
She was not able to believe it; Alex could cheat her when she was carrying his child. The moment the lift opened on the ground floor she ran out of the building unaware of her surroundings her vision was a blur because of the tears falling from her eyes continuously.
Before she could realize she was in the middle of the road and her mind went blank and didn’t react when she saw a car rushing towards her and in friction of second the car crashed her, she was thrown in the air and in next moment she was lying lifeless in the middle of the road covered in blood someone called an ambulance and she was rushed to the hospital.
Alex had been trying Alice’s phone for a long time but it was not reachable and now he was getting tensed about it.
Joy entered Alex’s office in urgency he faces was in a panic and he said blurted out without Alex’s permission “President, Mam had a major accident and she is in hospital”
Alex lost blood from his face when he heard the news, he immediately ran towards the lift followed by Joy, soon they reached the hospital and after inquiry at the reception, he got to know that she was still in the emergency room.
He was walking back and forth in front of the emergency room, he was sweating badly. After a wait of an hour, the doctor came out, the moment Alex saw him he ran to him and asked “how is she?”
The doctor removed the mask from his face and said “she is fine now; we will shift her to the ward soon her injuries were not too deep”
As soon as the doctor was about to walk away Alex continued in a bit scared tone like he doesn’t want to hear bad news in the next moment “and how about my daughter?”
The doctor turned to him and said “we have aborted the child, as the patient said she doesn’t want that child” after saying this doctor left.
Alex forgot to breathe, at first he was not able to believe what he heard but then the doctor’s words rang in his ears, then he thought how could Alice abort their child?
He remembers when he told her for the first time about her pregnancy, her first reaction was “isn’t it too early? That means she didn’t want the child from start and so she did all these”
He never thought that she would do such things; first, she made him start his office. So that she was free to do whatever she wanted
He never in his dreams thought that Alice was such a vicious woman. Today he regretted loving her, she killed their child.
The child for whom he was waiting so eagerly, he walked out of the hospital without even seeing Alice for once
Joy tried to stop him saying “President, We should not leave Mam alone”
Alex stopped in his tracks. He was like a body without soul and he said in a monotonous tone “I don’t know her from today” and after completing his statement he left the hospital, Joy didn’t have any options apart from following his order.
Alex sat in his car; he didn’t have any expressions on his face. He was lost; he never thought that the person whom he loved so much would do this to him. Today he lost faith in love.
Joy saw his Boss’s situation, but he never looked like this. He had changed a lot from the time Mam Alice had come to his life.
No matter what Joy was not able to believe what was happening.
It’s been three days since the incident; Alex had not spoken a single word nor he went home.
He came to the office from the hospital that day and he buried himself in his work. He was not eating properly or sleeping.
It was after lunchtime when Joy knocked on the office door and entered the office after Alex’s permission.
