“You better be obedient. Grandpa is still watching from below. It’s best if you don’t come up with any tricks!” Fu Yao threatened.
“Let me go! Are you crazy?”
From the moment she was determined to send the divorce agreement to him, Shen Qieyi didn’t want to have anything to do with him.
Fu Yao could see the disgust and anger in her eyes.
“Shen Qieyi you were fine before. Who made you so bold?”
Shen Qieyi saw him let go slightly, she tried her best to break away from him, turned around, and ran downstairs.
Fu Yao saw that she only wanted to escape and became even angrier.
He quickly grabbed her and held her tightly in his arms. The action looked quite intimate to outsiders.
Fu Yao leaned over her and blew in her ear, his palms holding her shoulder back and said, “You still want to escape? Hmm?”
Shen Qieyi felt pain and glared at him.
She knew that the group of people behind her must have been watching them and eventually gave up struggling in annoyance.
There was a bedroom in the house where the two of them stayed. Fu Yao easily turned her into the room.
The sudden episode made the people in the living room suddenly silent.
They all looked at each other with their eyes drifting upstairs from time to time.
“These two aren’t quarreling, right?” One of the aunts was awkwardly looking for a topic, wishing to ease the atmosphere.
Fu Laoye sat calmly in the original position, holding the little princess whom he took from Shen Qieyi’s arms.
Looking down at the child playing with the toys in her hand, he glanced at the kid and did not say anything.
With a loud sound of closing door, everyone was interested again.
Hearing their discussion, Lan Qing got up anxiously. “I think I’d better go up and see them. I don’t want to make any trouble.”
The previous aunt snorted. “Sister-in-law, just sit down. How can a couple not quarrel? Besides, young people these days are not willing to let their parents intervene.”
Hearing this, Lan Qing was embarrassed and slowly sat down on the chair.
“Fu Yao’s expression was so serious just now, which really startled me. This child is really something.”
“Yeah, yeah, I saw the girl too. Why can’t she be more tolerant, why is she so stubborn for.”
“… ”
The three women talked back and forth. For a moment, the living room was full of gossips.
Lan Qing didn’t care about these onlookers. She stretched out her neck and looked at the second floor, worried about trouble.
Fu Laoye looked at the ladies who were gossiping with their heads bowed. He frowned and said, “Don’t be so nosy. It’s getting late, it’s time for everyone to leave.”
The old man’s words made everyone quiet out of respect, and they left silently.
After everyone had dispersed, Fu Laoye turned his head and looked at the second floor. He shook his head and cursed, “Unfilial son!”
In the bedroom.
Fu Yao raised his leg and kicked the door violently. The heavy sound shocked Shen Qieyi and made her eyebrows tremble.
Shen Qieyi hated Fu Yao’s violent actions, so she frowned and pulled away from him.
“What? You hate me so much? You can’t stand being with me for a moment?”
Fu Yao seemed to have read her mind as he raised his eyebrows and laughed coldly.
“Can you stop being so eccentric?”
Shen Qieyi was puzzled and held back her temper. Since he wanted to talk, then they should have a talk. There must be an end ceremony to all of this.
“Oh, I, Fu Yao, have always been like this to you. Now you can’t stand it anymore? Or do you have the guts to find the next family?”
Fu Yao simply could not control himself. He spat out the words without the slightest bit of respect.
Shen Qieyi found that Fu Yao had been paying attention to her false affairs in recent days. How could this man suddenly become so unreasonable?
There was no way to negotiate at all.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about. If you want to talk, then wait until you have more clarity.”
Shen Qieyi’s patience had run out. She opened the door to leave.
Peng!
Fu Yao’s palm held on to the door with a forceful push and blocked Shen Qieyi’s exit.
Shen Qieyi turned the doorknob stubbornly, but Fu Yao refused to let go.
Shen Qieyi turned her head irritably and was so angry that her eyes were flashing with tears. “Fu Yao, you bastard! What do you want exactly? The divorce agreement has been sent to you. What else do you want?”
She shouted loudly, and her tears could not help but fall.
Shen Qieyi turned her head in annoyance and raised her hand to wipe away her tears.
Fu Yao saw that she had finally taken the initiative to speak. Hearing how indifferent she was when she mentioned the words ‘divorce’, he burned with rage.
Fu Yao half hugged her and pressed her down on the bed.
Only when he completely pressed her under his body and could even controlled her breath, could he relief his anger.
Fu Yao’s two hands held onto her wrists, which were confined to her head and did not allow her to move.
He moved closer to her, his face against hers, his nose against hers, and they could smell each other’s breath.
With such intimate position, the two of them still could not suppress their anger.
Fu Yao gritted his teeth and asked, “Why did you send me that pile of trash?”
Shen Qieyi hated the way he patronized all of her hard work. She retorted, “The marriage is shared by two people. Why do you think you have the right to end or continue it?
Hurt, Fu Yao let out a cold and numb laugh. “Shen Qieyi, you have the face to say that marriage is a matter between two people? Did you forget that this twisted marriage was coerced by you?”
Shen Qieyi was trembling. He was not the only one who had to bare all these sufferings for the mistakes she did when she was young.
“I admit that I was wrong. Can’t I just let you go?”
People who didn’t love each other were bound together, which made Fu Yao’s romance world become abnormal and distorted. After getting married, he knew he carried a disgusted feeling towards whatever Shen Qieyi had done.
Shen Qieyi had no grudge against him because this was her own consequences.
He did not want anyone involved in this conspiracy to feel good, even himself.
When he saw Shen Qieyi unhappy, he felt a trace of bloodthirsty pleasure.
He could hardly remember the times when the two of them were in harmony. They were usually cold and violent, facing each other in silence.
Of course he had also felt sorrow? Of course he had also tried to live his life well.
But he couldn’t do it at all. Every time he saw her clear eyes, he couldn’t even control his surging hatred.
It seemed that he had fallen into a loveless, dead end.
Fu Yao allowed himself to seek pleasure from other women, but was he ever happy from it?
Suddenly one night, he was entangled by a woman.
But because he didn’t push her away at the banquet, the woman forgot everything and decided that he liked her.
Fu Yao was too lazy to explain. He didn’t reject her because of the strange and familiar perfume smell on her body.
At that moment, something flashed through his mind, and he was thinking about what perfume Shen Qieyi was wearing.
Before he could make a judgment, the venue was dark. The ambiguous lights were faint and the crowd was boiling.
While he was lost in thought, the woman approached him with wine and wanted to kiss him.
Fu Yao stared at her passionate red lips, touching them before turning his head.
He was a little angry. He did not know whether it was because he hated the intimacy of strangers or he was angry with the appearance of Shen Qieyi in his mind.
That night, the woman happily drank a few more glasses, leaned a little into his arms and clang on his collar tightly.
