Mr. Deon and his men were all sitted as usual, discussing on how to bring Clara’s life to an end and his missing men. His most trusted men were Derek, Grimes, and Shane.
“For days now, we haven’t set an eye on Shane, Grimes and Sabastin. Hope it’s not what I’m thinking? Hope they are not the ones behind this?”
“…” all his men were mute and wasn’t able to give him a reply.
“We have called their number and it isn’t going through. We have asked their parents about them and they keep saying that they are also looking for them. We have searched and search but there is still no trace of them.
He stood from his seat, placed his two hands inside his pocket and stay walking to and fro like a confused fool.
“This is confusing. Shane, Grimes and Sabastin were missing days ago and few days later, Mara was also found dead. Is it that one person is behind this all?”
“Maybe Evidence is behind all of this!” Derek made the use of the word ‘maybe’ so that he doesn’t get suspected.
The truth was that deep down inside Derek’s heart, he wanted Deon and Evidence to start a fight. He hated Mr Deon with so much passion. He wanted Deons downfall, and he knew that starting a war between Evidence and Deon could cause Deons downfall and that was what he wanted. He was a green snake under the green grass.
“What do we do, now?” Deon asked.
“Boss, let’s start a fight, let us start a fight now that they are not ready. Let us take them unaware. Let us finish them with all that we have got.” Said of of Deon’s men.
Deon took a stand as he replied. “Sure! Sure, we will definitely attack them but we need to have a plan for that. Evidence isn’t that kind of person that would be destroyed easily. He has men! I mean muscular men! He has cameras everywhere so attacking them will be difficult.”
“We can always attack them on the way, boss.”
“No way! That one is the most dangerous plan. They no longer move out alone, they go in groups and we can’t defeat them. All we have to do is talk about this the next time we meet so that we can have a better way to conquer them. We can’t use one stone to kill two birds, if not, we would miss them all. Now, let us not talk about that fool called Evidence. Let us talk about clara.”
“Oh! Yes! We have delivered the bomb. It will be fixed on the plan by tomorrow. RIP Clara.” Said Derek.
“Good! Good! Good!” He nodded. “That is why you are my most trusted men. You will be rewarded for your services. You, faithful servant.”
“Thank you, boss.” Derek bowed, showing Deon some sign of respect. Actually, what he displayed were all fake. He always wished to see Deon cease his breath each and everytime he sets his eyes on him. If only looks could kill, Deon must have dropped dead by now by the help of Derek’s look.
“You will be rewarded in a good way, Just keep it up.” Deon complemented.
“Each and every one of you will be rewarded real good, with the money i will give you all, even your generations will never suffer. Just…”
A call interrupted his statement.
On the phone…
“Who is this?” Deon asked.
“It’s me Dagger.”
Dagger was one of the men of Mr Deon’s friend.
“Oh! How are you doing?”
“I am fine boss. Just that…”
“What?”
“It’s about shane, Grimes and Sabastin.”
“You found them?”
Derek became nervous. He could remember the word that Sammy had told him. “If Evidence should find out, i will kill you first.” He remembered the warnings Sammy had given to him as he trembled. At this point, he knew he would be in big trouble if they should know that he is behind Their death.
“Did you see them?” Deon asked again.
“Yes boss. But… but boss, they aren’t alive.”
Derek could now hear his own heart beat. He could remember that after Stephen killed them, he could remember that he had gone to burry their body later that night. He wondered who had done that to him.
‘There is only one person behind this! I should have killed him when i had the opportunity’ He regretted.
“Tell me where they are.”
“It looks as if someone dugged them out of the ground and now, so many people are here. The crowd is much, boss. Someone had already called the police and they are on their way, coming with ambulance. Sir, i advice you don’t come. If you do, the police might do something stupid. We all know that Grimes, Shane and Sabastin are wanted by the police a long time ago after that incident happened and now that they caught them, i mean now that they finally got hold of their bodies, they won’t release it. They claimed it’s government property and Government are the ones to burry them.”
“…” Deon was mute and didn’t know what to do.
“Thank you for the information.” Deon replied as he sat on Master Don’s customized seat, removed his tie and started to unbuttoned his shirt without saying a word as his men watched him.
Meanwhile, Mara had already bought a new phone and decided to call Clara who told her that she would be coming to the United States of America by the next day. Mara had already told Clara all the incident that had happened to her so far and they both agreed not to tell any one about her being alive. Clara also agreed to meet Mara at Annabel’s home and also warned Mara never to leave Annabel’s home until they find who that fool was.
Mara was so happy that Clara was coming, she waa happy that she would see her sister again after so many years.
