Burry Her

Book:CEO'S OBSESSION Published:2024-6-2

In an uncompleted building, it was night. A few people were there and it appeared to be Deon and his men.
Mr. Deon had long ago reached the location where he had earlier instructed his men to keep the body and wait for him. Due to some traffic, he was delayed and arrived late. Due to the fact that he had gone to the Mortuary before going to meet them, he was delayed.
He saw the lifeless body being laid on the floor, he was frustrated and confused. He never stoped wondering who must have done this to Mara and who would hurt him this badly. He stood right in front of the lifeless body as be tried to look at the disgusting face that was damaged with Acid and tried to see if he could recognise the person’s identity. He wanted to be sure that the person lying there lifeless was Mara. He looked and looked but was still unable to recognise the person’s identity. Due to what he had seen so far, the body wearing Mara’s cloth, and was with her Mara’s belongings including her phone convinced him that the person was no one else but Mara.
Still standing in front of the dead body, he creased his brows like someone who knew that all hopes was gone as he placed his two hands inside his pocket and nodded as a statement follows.
“I must get to the root of this!” He shook his head angrily.
“Boss, what do we do? Asked Derek.
“Burry the body there.” He pointed.
“No proper burrial?” Asked one of his men.
“Do what i say and don’t ask stupid question. Burry her there!” He instructed out of anger as he walked to and fro at the state of confusion. His voice was weak, his eyes were red. He brought out his hands from his pocket and slammed them on the wall countless times, causing him to blead seriously.
“Take it easy boss. We shall see to the end of this.” Said another of his men.
Derek asked. “Boss, do you plan to start a war with Evidence?” His voice was filled with anxiety, fear, and curiousity. His expression was so obvious that he didn’t want Deon to start up a fight! He was scared that the truth would surface.
Holding a shovel, He asked again as he shivered.
“Boss, are you going to start a war with Evidence?’
“Don’t. Ask. Me. That!” Evidence response was unreadable. At this time, no one knew his plans. No one knew what he was going to do next.
He screamed at the top of his voice as he hit the wall with his right hand, causing his already injured hand to bleed the more. He cried and wished this day never came. He wasn’t cryimg because Mara was dead, the reason for his cry was that Since Mara was dead, how he would get hold of the property.
“There is only one idea, boss.” One of his men said.
Deon seemed not to listen to him. He kept smashing the wall, hitting it with so much energy.
“After these year? After all i did just to have these and now, everything want to crumble within just a day!” He said to him self.
“These isn’t a problem…”
“Buryyyyyy that bodyyy!” He said with so much frustration.
Seeing his reaction, they all started digging the ground. They knew that once Deon had gone beserk, nothing would change his current state expect from that word called ‘Solution’. Solution to Deon’s problem was the only thing that cpuld calm him when ever he goes beserk. His men knew this as one of them thought of a solution.
After some hours, they had finished digging the ground and had also burried the Dead body.
The atmosphere was calm for like 10 mimutes when one of his men decided to break silence.
“I have a solution, boss. You have always wanted Mara dead, but since she died at the wrong time, i don’t think it’s a problem. You know Clara is her only family? Now that Mara is dead, we should concentrate on Clara. Once clara is also out of the way, the property will be yours.” He suggested.
“…”
Deon was mute, he gazed at his men with his red eyes, he gazed at him for like 1minute without saying a word as he turned back to his former position where he stared at the wall continuously.
“Boss, what do you think?” His men asked again.
Evidence wiped his face, he didn’t want his men to see his tears, he didn’t want them to see him as weak. No! That was the last thing he wanted.
“Boss…” Deon interrupted.
“Good idea. You are making a sense.” He release a heavy sigh of relief. He left his standing position where he made friends with the wall and now placed his two hands on his pocket again and walked towards his men and stood in front of them like the boss he had always been.
All this while, Derek has been mute.
“Now that our plan A has failed, we need to draw a map for our plan B. We need to make this happen… you all know that if our plan should work, everyone that worked for me will be billionaires. As for the person that hurt me so badly, i will personally bring him down!” Derek swallowed his own saliva immediately he heard Deon’s word.
“Boss…” Derek called.
“Yes?” Deon answered.
“This… i mean, the plan B is perfect. We should go for it and i think this idea of his is perfect!”
At this point, Derek was speechless. At first, he didn’t know what to say. He was at a confused state and then decided to say something else instead.
“Good! I agree with you Derek. Let’s do this!” Said Deon. He stretched out his right wounded hand which signalled his men to do the same thing he did. They all stood and formed a circle like the team they are as Derek kept acting strange.
Few moments later, they all left.
