It was still noon but the sun had reduced its smile. Rose still stood where she was, with her arms across each other and with a face that describes these words that says ‘I will never do it! My word is final.’
“Why are you still standing there? your arms across each other without saying a word about repairing or paying for the damage you cost my car? Indeed, you’re stubborn. Well, I think I’m losing my patience.
Rose was indeed stubborn. Who would still prove stubborn After seeing Mike call a police officer? Was she this brave and fearless? Mr. Evidence couldn’t believe it. No man, not to talk of a lady, dared to prove stubborn towards him and now this little girl dared? At that point, Evidence was powerless, he never knew the reason for his powerless state but he could feel as if he was weak when it comes to Rose. He never knew her until the very day she came for an interview at his condom company and he suddenly he took interest.
Evidence still stood there with his two arms placed inside his pockets as he gazed at Rose with the fire burning in his eyes and wondered the kind of being she was.
“Like seriously? You won’t accept my offer and you can’t pay for the damage you caused? Wow.” He chuckled again as he shook his head to a negative and naughty thought.
“I’m sorry sir, it’s not as if I’m being stubborn, just that… just that I can’t accept that offer and…”
“You can’t pay for the damages you caused?”
“Sir…, I haven’t any money to pay and I can’t and won’t accept your offer. You are so naughty and arrogant and besides…”
Arrogant? Did she just say those words to his face? She must be digging her grave.
Before Rose could finish her statement, her phone rang and she took her phone and saw Annabel’s name appear on the phone screen. She knew that Annabel was going to taunt her So badly for keeping them waiting.
Evidence just stood quietly and patiently waiting for her to finish her call. He acted as if nothing had happened.

“Rose, where are You? We ‘ve been waiting for you and you aren’t here yet.”
“I’m so sorry. I’ll join you girls soon.”
“Sorry for yourself. I’m sure you must have gone to meet your condom CEO.”
“You ‘re crazy. I Said I’ll join you girls soon.”
“Well we ‘re waiting for you. Bye.”
The call ended.
After the call ended, Rose tried putting her phone back into her little fancy purse as she felt something strangle her. It was Evidence’s hand on her neck. His grip on her was so tight that her hands started to tremble, causing her to hear her heart, beat so loud.
The two men, Mike and Rose’s driver, stood and watched the scene. What could they do? Nothing. All they could do was stand quietly and watch the painful-romance scene before them.
With his arm still on her neck, he moved closer to her and leaned in on her, giving her a sexy and a dangerous smirk. His charming eyes stared right into Rose’s eyes. It was as if he was casting a spell on her. She couldn’t pull her sight off him. Their eyes were fixed on each other’s eyes. She stood as his arm left her neck and moved slowly towards her collar bone. He caressed it so gently that Rose was lost in thought as she stared at him continuously. Seems the charm is working.
With his eyes still fixed on hers, he moved his face so close to her face that Rose could feel his breath on her skin as he asked.
“Did you just call me arrogant? I see you are bold enough to stand before me and speak to me in such a manner. You little…” the driver interrupted. Evidence paused as he gave the driver a wicked and a dangerous gaze filled with warning. While Rose’s attention was fixed on Evidence. She wasn’t distracted. It appeared that the irresistible charm was having an effect on her.
The ignorant driver who didn’t notice Evidence’s gaze towards him didn’t mind but had to let his words out.
“Miss Rose, please accept whatever he tells you to do. You don’t know his man. He is feared by many, he is so…” At this point, he realized the dangerous gaze being thrown at him, the look describes these words that say ‘only if eyes could kill.’ The driver saw the fire burning in the CEO’s eyes and had to shut up to avoid his flesh being fed to the vultures while he was still alive. Mike who enjoyed the scene was mute but had to let out a silent chuckle so as to avoid Evidence’s wrath.
When Evidence realized that the atmosphere was calm again, he continued his statement.
He looked at the frozen girl as his sexy and romantic eyes appeared again and said.
“You called me arrogant and naughty, huh? you, this little girl… I am naughty you know?” He moved closer to her ear as he whispered.
“Resisting me isn’t the best option. Why are you mute?” He asked.
“Huh?” Seems like the spell had left her.
“I said why were you mute all this while? The brave girl suddenly turned deaf and dumb? Huh?”
“I accept your offer.”
“Huh?” Evidence was astonished as he heard her words.
“I accept the offer,”she said again.
“You finally accepted? Good! Now your work starts today. You can leave with your driver but before you go, use this handkerchief to wipe my face.”
“But you aren’t sweating.”
“Are you gonna do your work peacefully or have you changed your mind?”
“Okay fine.”
She quietly took the handkerchief and wiped his face. Her eyes never left his face. He was just so handsome that she couldn’t stop admiring him.
“Good girl. You can go now.”
Rose handed the handkerchief to him as she walked towards their car.
“Wait!” He instructed. “I’ll be attending a party this week and you will be coming with me. Give me your number and I’ll text you the address later.” He said and let out a satisfying smile as he stretched his hand to give Rose his phone and She dialed in her number.

Rose didn’t say a word, she just did as she was instructed.
They all walked and entered into the car as they left to their separate destinations.
