He wanted to meet Sofia but he couldn’t contact the woman, and so did James, so he just went to the mall and watched a movie. His dinner was just popcorn and soda but he didn’t feel hungry.
Ella was on her way home when she passed a street food restaurant so she parked in front of it. When he entered the small restaurant, there was a group of people eating and frowned as he observed the type of food on the table. “What’s that?” He asked the man at the counter.
He turned again to the people who were eating and noticed that they were enjoying mixing a boiling dish on top of the stove.
“It’s just water and an Overload mango supreme,” that’s what’s listed in the bestseller section of the menu.
“Sit down first and please wait a minute,” said the man.
Ella chose a table that did not face the outside because she was worried that someone might see her and report her to Damian. Ten minutes later, the man set up a butane stove, and then lit a frying pan on fire. He didn’t know what the man had put there, he just said, just wait for it to boil, and he can eat.
He had already started eating when suddenly a group of men arrived. There was a commotion inside where the newcomers could sit and Ella just listened and didn’t look back.
“Excuse me, can I share a table?”
He reached for the mango supreme and tasted it before he ignored the man who spoke. “Okay,” he said because it would be awkward if he refused because there were no seats inside and outside the restaurant.
“Thank you. I’m Julius, “the man introduced himself.
Ella just raised an eyebrow at the man because he was raised by his former self. Very fresh, and very handsome in itself. “Okay,” was Ella’s only response to the man.
“What’s your name?” The man asked.
“Do we still need that? Let’s just eat here?” He laughed at the man because he was disturbed. He didn’t know that his voice was strong and his colleagues at another table heard him and helped Julius. The man was embarrassed by the shouting of his troops so he suddenly felt guilty.
Julius was surprised when he suddenly took her hand and said her name. “I’m Ella, but you can just call me, baby.” She flirtatiously introduced herself to Julius and teased the male colleagues at what she did.
“Thank you,” Julius said.
“It’s okay, but it doesn’t look good. You’re bullying your colleagues.” He counseled the man.
“Let it go, I won’t lose anything.” Julius replied.
“There is. Your pride, “Ella said. She didn’t know why she seemed to want to help the young man. Yes, Julius is pogi but he’s not that flirtatious and he’s still in love with Damian. “Excuse me,” he stood up and approached the counter. “Bossing, charge me for all their orders.” Ella said to the man and pointed at Julius’s cohorts. Some were stunned and could not believe what he did, because he really made sure they heard him.
“Why? You don’t have to do that, “Julius said.
“Let it go, it’s my birthday today.” Ella lied.
“Oh really? Happy birthday, “Julius replied.
Ella almost choked on what she ate when Julius wished her a happy birthday. After he ate, he even ordered a mango supreme for take-out, and left a sufficient amount for the meals he had served to Julius’s group.
The men screamed as he yelled at Julius before he headed to his car. Ella laughed at her audacity. What has he eaten before? Before he could start his car, he first rolled down the window and waved at Julius. He looked like a boisterous mama-sang while giving the man a flying kiss before leaving.
The whole house was quiet when he got home. As he went up to the second floor of the house, he thought about what Damian and Monique might have done. He felt chest tightness as his brain played with things that the two could possibly do in the next room or in the man’s own room.
When he entered his room, he jumped in fear when suddenly someone spoke next to him, even before he had turned on the light. “Damian! What are you doing here? ” he asked the man.
“Why are you alone now? What time is it?” Earlier he was bored of waiting for the woman.
“It’s almost twelve,” Ella replied.
“Why are you alone now?” Damian asked the woman again.
“Why do you ask so many questions? If you’re not sleepy yet, it’s up to you, but I, I want to sleep because I’m tired. ” He said and passed the man and went to the bathroom to take a half bath because he felt sticky.
Ella expected the man to leave voluntarily but when she came out of the bathroom Damian was still there and sat comfortably on his couch. She ignored that the man was just nearby and applied body lotion.
“Have you eaten?” Damian asked the woman as she prepared to go to bed.
“Of course. Will I let myself go hungry because of you and Monique? ” He smirked. “Come out, and Monique might have been looking for you.” He chased Damian away even though he really wanted them to sleep together.
“I said goodbye to him,” Damian replied.
He looked at Damian badly because honestly, he wanted to tweak it and pull out all its teeth. “It’s good that you’re allowed,” Ella said.
“Why doesn’t he know that we’ve always been close as brothers and sisters.” Damian teased the woman even more, but when he noticed that the vein in her neck had ruptured in anger, he sneezed and said goodbye. “I’m leaving, but I hope you taste what Monique cooked.”
Several times Ella messed up her hair out of anger. He was still expecting Damian to coax him, but he just wanted to taste what Monique cooked! Bwisit!
His blood boiled to come out of his room, and went to the kitchen. He immediately found the dish Monique had cooked, and threw it all in the trash. He admitted that what he did was too childish and could possibly boomerang on him, but he didn’t care! It’s delicious, ha!
“What did you do with the food?”
Her eyes widened when she heard Damian’s voice behind her. It caught him so he was ashamed of what he did. “Thrown away,” he replied and quickly left the kitchen.
