Damian’s plan to make Ella jealous boomeranged with Tanya’s help because just the first day the woman was in their house, Ella gave up and left. He didn’t know where the woman had gone and when he talked to Rebecca he didn’t know either.
He acted like a teenager who didn’t know what to do. Eventually, the woman most important in his life leaves him but he will fix everything. He will admit to his true feelings and will not flake off any more. She no longer cares what other people say because Ella is more important than the opinion of others.
“Man, be honest with me. Do you really not know where Ella went?” He once talked to Rebecca intensely out of a desire to see the woman again. He misses it so much.
“I don’t know, Damian. It’s your fault, eh! What did you do to Ella?” Rebecca acted unaware of the real event.
“Do you know the number of her friend? Sofia?” He had no choice but to talk to that woman.
“No, but the driver knows where he lives.” Rebecca replied.
“Thank you,” Damian said, and after their conversation with Rebecca he wasted no more time.
The apartment was nearby and they did not travel more than fifteen minutes. As he surveyed the apartment from the car, he knew that Sofia was also somewhat capable. Maybe its salary is large because he estimates that its monthly rent is expensive. He said goodbye to the driver and went to the said apartment.
He had rang the doorbell earlier but he still hadn’t opened it. He tried again and when he heard footsteps inside towards the doorman, he forced himself to smile so that Sofia would not drive him away. He waited for the door to open and prepared himself for Sofia’s treatment of him, after all, he didn’t treat her well. “Hi. What are you doing here?”
“Hello Damian.”
Damian didn’t expect James to open the door for him so he was surprised to see his cousin’s face. “Why are you here? Where’s Sofia?” He asked.
“Something else is being done, wait, what’s your purpose with my girlfriend?” James asked.
“Your girlfriend is Sofia?” Damian asked.
“Yup, and then let’s talk about my love life. So, what are you up to?” James repeated his question to Damian because Sofia and he still had something to do and Damian was a nuisance.
He didn’t want to tell James everything because it was embarrassing but it didn’t give him a chance to talk to Sofia himself. “Ella ran away,” Damian said.
“What? Why?” James frowned as Damian asked the possible reason for Ella’s departure.
“I brought Tanya home to make her jealous,” Damian admitted.
James laughed out loud at what Damian said. “Are you a teenager? What did you get? You ran away,” James teased the cousin who couldn’t paint his face.
“Stop me,” Damian whispered to his cousin. “Did Sofia say anything about Ella?”
“Hmmm, how much will you pay me for the information?” James became a businessman or more correctly said to be domineering.
“How much do you want?” Even though he didn’t like James putting a price on information related to Ella, he had no choice.
“Ten percent of McBride Ranch,” James said.
“Are you crazy already?” Damian’s voice rose because of his cousin’s demands.
“Ten percent. Take it or leave it,” James insisted.
Most people think that James is just happy go lucky and Sofia to have no direction in life. He is free to do whatever he wants and his parents have never told him that he has done nothing but travel around the world. But, his cousin is a natural entrepreneur. “Does Sofia know your style?” Damian was sure the woman had no idea what kind of person James was and he was just shaken.
James just shrugged at Damian’s question. “So how?”
“Fine. I’ll have the lawyer prepare the papers about your ten percent ownership,” Damian agreed because he had nothing more to do. James holds the information about Ella.
“You never fail to disappoint me, cousin.” James smiled before he told Damian Ella’s address.
A few minutes later, Damian was just shaken by how much he had lost just for one address. When they got home, he lowered the driver, and left again to go pick up Ella.
In all the cities across the province, Damian did not expect the woman to hide in Anda. When he arrived in Little Miami, he immediately approached the woman at the reception. He smiled at it. “Hi, I would like to talk to Ella Sullivan, one of your guests here.” Said Damian. The woman hesitated to tell him Ella’s room number because of course it was forbidden and she understood.
“Who are they?” The receptionist asked.
“Damian McBride,” Damian replied and when the woman stared at him, he knew someone remembered it. He smiled and waited for its decision.
“I can’t say her room number, but lunchtime is near. Just wait at the restaurant,” said the woman.
Damian nodded and when he looked at the time it was only fifteen minutes before twelve. “What time does he usually eat?”
“It’s coming,” the woman replied.
“Okay thanks.” Damian said and went to the restaurant and sat down. Ella loves seafood so she thought of ordering food even without the woman. As he waited for the ordered food, his eyes focused on the front of the restaurant where Ella would enter, and when he saw the woman, Damian’s face lit up. He waited for the woman to sit down before he stood up and sat down in front of her. “Nice view here,” Damian opened.
