James refused to let them follow Damian and Tanya because Damian might even think he was obsessed with the man. So what they did was just enjoy the bar first. “Are you sure of your plan?” He asked James because he was distrustful.
“Trust me. If you want Damian to notice you, listen to me, okay?” Said James. Also, he had a strong hunch that Damian wouldn’t take Tanya home.
“Okay, but you’ll really fall in love with me when your plan fails!” Ella warns James that there are consequences to his suggestion that they spend time at the bar first.
“You don’t really care about me. I’m also a Ella man, and I know how Damian’s brain runs. Eh, we can be cousins! ” Said James.
“Where is it? Who says I give a damn about it? You’ll be really excited later when I see Tanya at home! ” Ella added.
James was just shaken because the woman was too combative. “I don’t know about you,” he said.
When they got home, Ella saw Damian’s car. Did Damian bring his woman home? He grabbed James’s arm, how could he sleep well even though he knew Damian was nearby and he was with another woman in the room.
“Damian preceded us on the way home,” James said, but of course, that’s what they wanted Ella to happen.
“Maybe he’s tired of whatever they did to that woman!” Ella’s tone was tinged with annoyance. In fact, he wanted to rush the man to confirm if he had indeed brought the woman into their house.
When they got inside, they found Damian in the living room and he drank brandy. She was wearing cotton pajamas and a white robe. “Morning, Damian.” Ella greeted the man. He looked at his watch and he was right to say good morning because it was already three in the morning.
Damian stood up and approached the newcomers. “Why did you just go home now? What time is it?”
“Alas three, Damian.” Ella answered. She knew the man was angry but she had no right to question the time of their homecoming with James because first of all, they had their own lives!
“And so?” Damian asked the woman.
Ella raised an eyebrow and narrowed her eyes as she looked at Damian as she was annoyed at the tone of its questioning. “And so what?” But Ella thought that James’s strategy seemed right because she saw the movement of Damian’s jaws as soon as they entered the house. James was right again, Damian just didn’t want to admit his feelings to him.
“Aren’t you going to tell me anything?” Damian questioned Ella again because he wanted to know what she had done during the hours with James.
Ella sighed before the man replied, “Nothing.” If he’s not so stubborn in how it feels, he’s having fun. But everything can’t be rushed, slowly but surely. Someday, it will also admit to him, unless, he is able to control his own emotions. But of course, he would not let everything go to waste. She would make him fall for her, one way or another. “Can I go upstairs now? I’m sleepy, “he told Damian. He also said goodbye to James to go first because it was true that he was drowsy.
When the two men were left in the living room, Damian and James stared at each other as if measuring each other. James spoke first to say goodbye to Damian to go to sleep because he was tired.
When James turned around, Damian wondered why the man was tired too. He didn’t want to think that the two had done a miracle but that was what entered his mind. “James, wait a minute.” Damian called James. My god, he’s going to be a criminal his cousin would confirm his suspicion!
“If you have something to say, say it. I’m getting sleepy,” he heard James say and it didn’t even turn to him.
“I don’t want to repeat what happened today. Leave her alone!” he scolded the cousin. The thought of James and Ella together infuriated him. She can’t allow another man to hold Ella!
“Oh? Common cousin, you know me, I love gorgeous girls and Ella turned out to be one last night. She’s single, there’s probably nothing wrong with me flirting with her, right?” James teased Damian who was already overwhelmed with anger.
Did he hear right? Will James date Ella? “I won’t allow it, and like you said, I know you. I know you’re not serious about women!” he stood up and approached James. “I will kill you!” He warned James.
“Are you scaring me? Why Damian, do you love Ella?” James’s voice was weak as his cousin asked.
“It doesn’t matter if I love her or not! I don’t want her to fall victim to women like you!” He pushed the man away but James just laughed at him.
James was surprised when Damian pushed him because he didn’t expect what it would do. “If you don’t love her, don’t bother her. She’s old Damian and Ella can handle herself. What do you think of her? Stupid? Dumb? Ella is not like that and you should know her better! ” James scolded Damian. “Well, may the best man wins.” He said before leaving.
Suddenly, Damian’s eyes darkened and he threw the glass of brandy at the man. James is kidding! “What do you want to happen?” He shouted at her but James finally entered his room and he was no longer heard.
Damian went back to the sofa and sat down, then poured the remaining wine into the bottle. He closed his eyes and weighed what he really wanted? Damian admitted that he was jealous of James and he repeatedly asked himself if he had the right to be jealous because they had no relationship with Ella. Damian took a deep breath before standing up and walking up the stairs.
