Damian cleared the blockage in his throat and looked at Ella wickedly. He didn’t expect the woman to just agree for him to date Tanya. “Okay, goodnight, then.” said Damian to Ella and hugged Tanya around the waist.
Ella saw how Damian touched Tanya and she knew the two really had a relationship. It was painful for him to see Damian in the company of others. “Goodnight to you too,” he replied.
He almost kissed Ella earlier and asked her if she was flirting. If only it knew how he really felt. But how would he tell the woman everything? He helped in raising her for goodness sake! With each day that passed, it became clearer to her how she felt about Ella. Damn, but he liked her! He tried to restrain himself from liking Ella. He thought he succeeded in doing so, until tonight when he wanted to kill his cousin for being with her. “Don’t do something you’ll regret tomorrow,” he warned the woman before leaving.
“Are you okay?” James asked Ella as they left Damian and the woman he called Tanya.
She felt like crying but she wouldn’t do that. “It’s a pain to see him with someone else, no.” Even though she was used to seeing the man in the company of others, she was still hurt.
James just nodded. He felt guilty for what he did. She knew Damian was going to the bar with Tanya but she was still Ella’s mother. Now, he felt like an idiot! If he didn’t want Ella to see Damian with the other woman to make him realize it, it wouldn’t hurt so much. “I’m sorry, Ella. He doesn’t know your feelings for him. Just give him time, okay?”
“He’s driving me nuts! Honestly, I want to step on his partner,” Ella admitted.
James laughed at what the woman said. “You’re serious,” he said.
“Did you notice how he held Damian’s hand? She is feeling too much, “Ella added.
“Hmm, I think, it’s better if you take a vacation first and enjoy. Isn’t that good?” James’s suggestion to Ella.
“You’re right, in that case, I’ll go with Sofia to Manila. I’ll book a ticket later when we get home.” He agreed to James’s suggestion to take a vacation first. He just makes sure Damian doesn’t know where he’s going so it doesn’t follow him.
“Is Sofia going to Manila? When?” He was suddenly curious when Ella mentioned Sofia’s name.
“Don’t you say that you, too, don’t like Sofia?” He couldn’t understand the McBride, what was their problem with Sofia, eh, her friend was so smart.
“I don’t like what she’s doing,” James replied and detailed what Sofia had done in recent days.
“Are you spying on her?” he was able to ask because he wondered why it knew everything his friend was doing. Hmmm … something was fishy, especially when it didn’t answer his question. Does James like Sofia? She smiled. “What did you type him?” He kicked the man.
“Who?” James didn’t immediately get Ella’s question.
“Who else are we talking about here James, but Sofia. You like her, what?” Ella repeated her question earlier.
“I will never like that reprimanding woman. Even if she is the only woman left when the world is destroyed, I still won’t hit her. We don’t know what diseases she has gotten from the number of men she has slept with! ” He lied but the truth is he had been looking for the woman for a long time because it suddenly disappeared and left him in the air.
“Ah, okay, you said that.” Now, he was sure that Sofia really liked it. He can’t wait to witness the fall of the number one playboy in the Philippines. “By the way, can you help me with my accommodations in Manila? I want a hotel that is close to the mall, has a swimming pool, has a gym, and is also world-class. Can you recommend anything to me?”
“Don’t go to a hotel, I have a unit in BGC. It’s fully furnished and has two bedrooms.” Said James. In fact, Damian’s unit is next to each other. Their other friends, Samuel and Marcus, also bought a condo unit in the condominium. “Why not!” Ella replied! She can’t let Damian insult her Pop’s their house. She laughed suddenly because he had no right to do anything Damian just because he couldn’t quite imagine reaching that coward at home. “I’d better call Monique first,” he suddenly remembered Damian’s girlfriend.
“Why would you call Monique?” James inquired.
“Just,” he said and quickly searched his phonebook for the woman’s number. They’re not close but it’s also not right to just let Damian be with someone else, it would have been okay if he was with Damian, but not eh. “Monique, how are you?” He told the woman that they looked close.
“I’m fine, why?”
“I just want to tell you that Damian has another woman,” she told Monique about Tanya.
“Can you Ella, stop me. We broke up and I don’t care about her new one, “Monique said on the other line and she immediately turned off the call.
Ella turned pale after she had eaten Monique. “They seem to have broken up,” he said.
“Why?” James asks because he can’t remember Damian mentioning anything about breaking up with Monique.
“He didn’t say, eh. Ah, let’s go home right now! ” Ella said because she was worried that Damian might be kidnapped again by another woman.
