Rachel adjusted her skirt which was already a bit wrinkled from sitting down. But Brett kept walking towards his own car. She had no other choice, but to follow the man and call his name. “Brett, Hey Brett wait for me!”
Brett looked at Rachel for a moment but she didn’t answer or stop walking. “Where have you been?” Supposedly he did not know where the woman went.
Rachel smirked at what the man said because she doubted it had always followed her. “Nice car,” Rachel said as she approached the vehicle she was carrying.
“Yes, a Mercedes. Don’t you have this?” The woman used to love cars and her father Steve’s problem has always been the woman’s luxury.
“No, I prefer Jaguar and Ferrari.” He said he was still staring at the man’s car and then he noticed that its window and door were strange. “Is it made to order?” Rachel shook her head as the man asked because she noticed the style of the car was not ordinary.
“Armor plating, and bulletproof glass.” He explains here. He saw that it was not surprised at what was said. Maybe because, the husband knows the nature of his work before. Brett was stunned by what the woman said. What? Any man would do? He quickly followed the woman and grabbed her arm. “Repeat what you said!” He shouted.
“I said, I can kiss any man. Did you really think that you were the only man in my life? ” He laughed and opened the car door but the man stopped him.
“I’m still your legal wife, Rachel!” Brett angrily reminded the woman.
Legal spouse? What now? She tried to just forget everything, but why did the man even remind her of it?
