“What the heck, Daniel.” She yelled angrily as she threw her purse to the chair. “How found you take such a step without even asking me first?” She asked him as she held on to her head.
She stared at him, he didn’t even act like she was speaking to him and it angered her, a lot. She hisses slightly as she stared at him. “Of course, don’t respond, keep making me sound like a mad woman!” She told him as she crashed into the chair, running her fingers through her hair as she sighed, she couldn’t believe this, how could he have taken such a bold step without even thinking to inform her first?
She sighed and then looked back at him. Apparently, he wasn’t even listening to whatever it was she was saying as he had his mind wrapped around other things. She knew he had a lot on his mind and probably had reasons for saying that but then her, she would be at the recieving end of all this and getting involved with the media was the last thing she wanted for herself, especially with him, their names romantically matched at the moment.
“Daniel?” She called and he raised his head from his laptop to stare at her. She sighed, “is there something I should know?” She asked him, hoping that at least he would open up to her on something but then he only shook his head.
“Everything is fine just trust that whatever I do, I do for the best” he told her before focusing back on his laptop.
She sighed, maybe he was right after all. He wouldn’t end up saying they were dating after denying it for so long now would he?
.
Tiredly, she fell into the couch as Daniel walked in behind her. “Gosh, I’m so tired, such a long day at work” she spoke tiredly as she sighed.
He smirked as he walked into the kitchen, pouring them glasses of juice as he took it to her. “Care for some?” He asked her and she didn’t even wait for him to finish speaking before she took the glass of juice from him.
“Of course, I do.” She told him and without even waiting for him to start drinking his, she gulped hers in an entire go, heaving a sigh of relief as she fell back on the chair.
As she laughed, talking, saying things that Daniel could not hear, probably because he was too busy staring at her, he smiled. She just looked extremely beautiful and cute, too beautiful for a hit girl and he was slowly falling even more in love with her.
He was admiring as her lips covered as she spoke, how her eyes closed slightly and then came back open, how she moved her hands as she explained to him and gosh, he was losing it all. He swallowed, why’d she have to be so damn adorable?
“Are you even listening?” She asked him as she snapped her fingers and he shook his head, coming back to reality.
She being speaking for a long time and was at least expecting him to say something but then all she got was him nodding his head like a lizard and she felt a little insulted.
“Yes, yes I am” he told her and she folded her hands against her chest as she stared at him, slightly curving her mouth so she looked like an adorable child z
“Okay then, I’m done talking” she said as she adjusted her coat before getting up but then he dragged her to himself.
“So soon?” He asked her as he made rather pleading eyes and she burst into laughter as she stared at him.
“What is that supposed to be?” She asked him as she blushed slightly.
“Puppy eyes?” He asked her and she sighed as she put her hands around his neck,
“Mr Lopez, if you want to make puppy eyes, you do them like this?” She told him as she bent her mouth in a funny way before making her eyes look pitiful and instead of actually looking pitiful, he found her looking cute and adorable.
He looked away, why was he sudddenly thinking such things about her? He was supposed to be a don, these thoughts weren’t supposed to cross his mind so why was he letting them cross?
He took a deep inhale as he wrapped his hands around her waist, her hands still around his neck and he had never felt more safer his entire life. Wrapping his hands around her waist with hers around his neck made him feel so soothed and he swallowed before speaking.
“We’ll be going for the finishing of the signing process tomorrow, you would have to come along with” he told her and she took her hands off his neck which immediately caused him to take his off her waist.
“Are you for real right now?” She asked him as she stared at him, tucking her hair behind her ear.
“Would I be joking about work?” He asked her and she sighed.
“Oh dear, I have to make lots of preparations then!” She screamed as she ran off like a little child.
His heart warmed seeing her this way and he sighed, could this be love? Had he actually fallen for her?
These thoughts crossing his mind made him feel cringed out many times but he had to let it slide, he had no other option at least.
.
“I can’t believe they literally gave the last room up for some other business partner” she complained as she dragged her suitcase into the room.
She walked to the bed as she fell into it and gosh, it felt so cool and cozy.
Daniel walked in and was surprised to see that she was actually enjoying the bed. He shut the door behind him as he watched her, she had being complaining about the hotel being incompetent as they had given out her room before she arrived and now, what he didn’t expect was that she would be rolling around the bed of the same hotel room.
Aside the fact that she was rolling on the bed, her smile caught him again and it was like he had being trapped in a web. Seeing her smile made his heart flutter.
This wasn’t new, seeing her happy made him happy and seeing her sad made him crossed. He knew that whatever way she felt was the corresponding for him and he couldn’t understand why. He could not understand why everytime he thought about her, he always felt immense peace.
Had he found the right woman already?
He smiled to himself as he watched her. “I love you, Kathryn.” He muttered to himself with a smile as he watched her.
