Kathryn slowly felt her lips, what was that for.
When Daniel realized that she was no more behind him, he stopped and turned to face her. “What’s wrong? Won’t you ckme with or are you suddenly not interested in being my assistant?” He asked teasingly as he smirked at her.
She shook her head, “don’t give yourself any importance ” she told him before walking into out of the elevator.

As Daniel focused on his laptop, trying to create and edit the perfect presentation, Kathryn couldn’t help but stare at him. As she stared at him, she remebered the elevator scene and then touched her lips. Why was she so drawn to this? She asked herself as she continued to stare at him, for some reason, he just looked more handsome than he usually did.
“What’s this feeling Kathryn?” She asked herself as she continued to stare at him and it just so happened that the more she stared at him, the more drawn she became to him. She sighed, what was this sudden feeling of attraction she was feeling?
She inhaled deeply as she started recalling the times they’d spent together in that house, how they’d become close, the kiss, their tag game and how they’d fought those goons off together. Those memories just made her smile as she thought of them.
It was as she was thinking of these things that something suddenly popped in her head. What if she’d actually decided to accept being his girlfriend?
“Shut up Kathryn!” She yelled, unknowingly calling Daniel’s attention.
“Are you alright?” Daniel asked her as he stared at her
” yes, I’m fine” she told him as she nodded her head.
“No you’re not. Look at yourself, you just yelled shut up at yourself and you tell me everything is fine?” He asked as he continued to stare at her.
“Don’t take anything I do seriously, trust me, it’s for your own good because I’m a crazy girl, I can do things out of the blue so don’t take such things to heart” she told him and got up. “I’m thirsty, I’ll go get some water” she told him
“But there’s water right here” he told her as he pointed towards the water dispenser.
“Lets just say it’s because I want to take a stroll. Have a nice time while I’m away” she told him in a hurry and rushed out of the office.
Daniel shook his head as he smiled at her, she was such an adorable girl. “Just be my girlfriend Kathryn, be my girlfriend and I’ll take care of you!” He said to himself with a smile on his face.
“Say that to my face again and I just might agree ” he heard someone say and when he raised his head, he saw Kathryn standing right in front of him with a smile on her face.
“You’re here? Didn’t you go get water?” He asked her.
“Was I supposed to stay there forever?” She asked him with that smile on her face, that smile that drove him crazy.
“But you said you were going to take a stroll didn’t you?” He asked
“Well, since you don’t want me here, I’m going to leave” she said and made to leave when he grabbed her hand and then pulled her back to himself, causing her to land on his laps. She was now seated on his laps and she had her hands wrapped around his neck.
“Did you just say I should ask you to be my girlfriend again?” He asked as he wrapped his hands around her slender waist.
“Yes, ask me again and then I might answer positively ” she told him as she tucked her hair behind her ear.
“If you say so madam” he told her and then sighed before putting his hand on her face, caressing it slowly. “Will you be my girlfriend?” He asked her with a smile on her face.
“Of course I will. ” she said with a smile on her face and they immediately embraced each other.
After withdrawing from the embrace, Daniel asked a question. “When i had asked you to be my girlfriend at the hospital, you didn’t agree. What changed now?”
“Everything.” She said as she caressed his face. “I decided to change my mind, is that not good enough?” She asked him. “Or have you started seeing someone else?”
He immediately put his index finger on her lips, “nah, I couldn’t ever. My eyes can only see you so how can I see someone else?” He asked with a smile on his face.
“Such a cheesy line, I’m going to rate it a four out of ten ” she told him and chuckled and then he wrapped his second hand around her waist.
“Four? I thought I’d get an eleven out of ten ” he said and gasped
“Maybe when you come up with a better line. That’s pretty popular, everyone uses it” she said with a smile on her face as she touched his face with her index finger consecutively.
“Aren’t you popular? If you’re popular, why shouldn’t I use a popular line?” He asked her.
“Popular? How am I even popular?” She asked him with a smile on her face as she adjusted her position on his laps.
“You’ve been on the news for sometime now and not just any type of news, national news. Doesn’t that make you popular?” He asked her as he raised his brow in a teasing manner.
“Oh well, I guess I don’t want to be popular” she told him as she placed her nose on his. They were now so close to each other, he could now feel her breathe on his face and he didn’t know how long he could resist it for.
“If you don’t want to be popular, could you please tell me what you want to be? Maybe I could help you” he told her as he rubbed her back.
“I don’t want to be popular, I want to be unique… I want unique lines” she told him as she slammed her lips on his.
“I love you baby Kat ” he told her in between kisses.
“Now that’s unique ”

“Hey! Daniel!” He heard someone call his name but he couldn’t tell where it was from. He continued to hear his name till he felt someone pour some water on him.
“Oh my goodness, what the heck!” He yelled as he got out of his seat.
“Where have you being? You’ve being lost and I’ve been calling your name for so long” she said as she kept the glass of water back on his desk.
“Shoot!” He cursed
So it had being a dream the whole time? He’d never felt so stupid his entire life!
