Third Person’s POV
Jefferson arrived at his office and Daria handed him an envelope that contained the report from the investigator whom he asked to look after the sender of all of Celina’s credentials. It was supposed to be private, especially the one in the orphanage.
“When did this arrive?” He asked.
“This morning Sir,” Daria replied and Jefferson nodded. Then he opened the envelope and started reading the report. He took out his phone and looked at his call register.
“Please contact Nicko again and have him look into this number.” He told Daria and left his office, then he continued reading everything about Xia. He felt pity for her but he thought that it was not a valid reason for her to do what she was doing now with Celina. Whatever she had been through, Celina had nothing to do with it, so he made a decision to make sure to warn her about her friend.
He was thinking whether he would tell Celina about what Xia had gone through. He had a feeling that she would only feel pity for her as well. He decided to just keep everything to himself for now. Anyway, whatever Celina did before was nothing to him because he knew that it was part of her growing up in an orphanage where there were a lot of kids who lacked love and support from their families as well.
It was almost lunch and he was busy making a list of things that needed to be done for a month by his employees when his assistant came in. “Sir, someone wants to see you,” Daria said as she handed him the marketing tools for the resorts, hotel and casino in Croas City. Jefferson looked at her with a creased forehead. He didn’t remember any appointments from anyone.
Then the door burst open, “Oh, Jeff. Your secretary didn’t want me in.” Xia said, smiling, feeling close to him. Jefferson started to feel furious because he thought that she was being insolent by just barging into his office calling him by a nickname.
“Celina is not here, what are you doing here? I don’t remember inviting you,” he said casually. He didn’t want to show her his anger yet.
“I know that you don’t like your wife. She told me about how you got married and left her after. I actually wanted to laugh at her face because she looked so sad when she told me that. She was saying that she was not attractive enough to make you stay,” she said, and without her knowing, Jefferson had been happy about that.
“But don’t worry, I think she will divorce you anytime soon because I suggested that to her. You don’t have to think of any ways to leave her.” she added, smiling, which made Daria cringe. She didn’t know where Xia got the idea that her boss wanted to divorce his wife.
“You suggested to her to divorce me?” Jefferson asked and Xia nodded, unknowing that he wanted to break her neck already. “Even if you suggest that to her, I will never agree to that.” he added, glaring at her.
For a moment, Xia felt scared of him but she decided to ignore him and give him her sweetest smile and wrap her arms around his and leaned her head to his shoulder. Daria decided to leave the office and just when she opened the door, Celina’s smiling face welcomed her. With wide eyes, she looked at her boss and found Xia all smiles.
Jefferson was surprised to see Celina at his office door and pushed Xia immediately. She raised her right brow after seeing what he had done. “Ma’am Celina,” Daria greeted her, smiling. She returned her smile and then looked at Xia.
“I didn’t know that you were coming here.” she said, casually, as Jefferson got back to his seat, not minding Xia at all.
“I know that I told you that I didn’t mind you going into my office for a visit, but I didn’t expect you to act quickly.” he told her not to leave her gaze. Celina sat on the chair in front of him and then looked at Xia,
“I just came here to give you this,” she said, and handed him a folder. Jefferson took it and opened it.
“It’s a contract,” he said, and Celina nodded.
“Please let your lawyer look into that. I was planning on accepting the offer and that’s the sample contract.” she said, and Jefferson nodded. “Have you had lunch?” she asked.
“No, do you want to eat with me?” he replied and asked.
“Yeah, you pay for it, of course,” she said, smiling.
“No problem,” Jefferson replied and stood up.
“Would you like to eat with us?” Celina asked Xia, who was just looking at her.
“Are you sure that you wanted me to join you?” Xia asked. She felt somewhat excited, thinking she would be able to be with Jefferson for a little more time. She thought that Celina didn’t have any idea about what was going on, so she agreed happily. Celina smiled and pulled her by her arms and said, “Then, what are we waiting for?” Jefferson was speechless seeing Celina acting that way but he still followed them, while Daria was just looking at them as well in disbelief.
Then she remembered how feisty Celina was, so she started to think what she would do once they were in the restaurant. ‘What does that woman think about Ma’am Celina that she agreed to come?’ she asked herself and then shrugged her shoulders after.
They went to a restaurant not too far from the company. “Let’s have a private room.” Celina told Jefferson and he nodded. They were inside the room and were waiting for their orders to arrive when Celina faced Jefferson and kissed him. He was shocked but he was happy that it was her who initiated the kiss.
He knew what she was trying to do and he was happy to help her show her friend how they were. He kissed her back and then moved his chair a little away from the table and pulled Celina to make her sit on his lap, which she did. Slowly, she grinds herself into him, which makes him moan in pleasure, “My Celina..”
Xia, who was furious with what she was seeing, stood up and left the room. Celina noticed it so she stopped what she was doing and got back to her seat. “You have to finish what you have started you know.” he teased her but she just glared at me. “I didn’t know that you could get jealous easily,” he added.
“Shall I cling on to another man too?” she asked,
“Over my dead body,” he replied with a warning look.
“I thought so, so don’t say anything about jealousy. My action was not because of that. It was for Xia to realize that she should stop whatever she was planning,” she told him. Then the room door opened and the waiter started to place their food.
The waiter left them after, “Never do that in a place like this, because next time you do that, you will be lying on the table and get f*** by me.” he warned her but he was smiling at her, “You don’t know how hard it was for me to control my d*** to dive inside you.” he said and kissed her hard as punishment for making him feel what he was feeling now. “I’m so fu***** want you now, you know.” he said after the kiss. Then they started eating.
Meanwhile, Xia was very furious. She didn’t know that Celina was so bold that she would kiss Jefferson in front of her. She realized that she had invited her to lunch to show her that she was his wife and that she would never get him from her.
‘I am going to take my Jeff from you. I will see to it that he is going to leave you.’ she thought to herself. She was delusional that Jefferson didn’t like Celina at all and that she was more superior to her, which made her worthy of Jefferson. When she found out about their marriage, Xia searched for everything about Jefferson. She liked him instantly and knowing they were only getting married because of John, she was sure that they would eventually divorce.
She tries her best to get photos and everything about Celina that she can use to destroy her image in Jefferson and John’s eyes. She collected everything and had her photograph of different men she paid to approach her. She prepared everything for Jefferson’s return, ready to get him.
