“Joel Manchester.” She pronounced the first name on the list.
Of course, that was the CEO of Empire World Corporation.
She scoffed and shook her head. Emily couldn’t possibly be living with Mr. CEO, there was no doubt about that.
“Elder Choi,” she called out the second name on the list.
“Hmmmm,” She hummed nasally.
Emily couldn’t be living with the Chois. Rachel knew the Chois’ Miss-Nancy- was a spoilt brat who wouldn’t let any lady go near her.
“Hmm, Mr. Kang…” She stroked her chin as she read out the third name on the list.
Mr. Kang was a thirty-seven-year-old bachelor who lived alone with his guards. He was a minister…
‘Emily could be living with him.’ She thought.
“You are having a radio show in the next thirty minutes, we need to get going.” Lucy brought her out of her thoughts.
“Ah, let’s go.” She dropped the list on her table and stood up on her feet.
She would check the relationship between Kang Do and Emily later.

“You need to be alert. Once she’s on her way back to the villa, attack.” Danielle swirled her glassful of wine as she spoke in the mouthpiece of her phone.
“I want a neat job, and as soon as you are done, board the next plane going to Columbia; don’t ever come back.” She blurted out and hung up after.
She smiled, peacefully sipping her wine. By nightfall, Emily would be dead.
It was not up to thirty seconds that Danielle dropped the call when another came in on her phone.
She narrowed her eyes as she eyed the strange number. A few seconds later, she swiped up the answer icon and placed the phone on her left ear.
“Yeoboseyo?” She spoke up softly.
She was replied by a breath feathering the mouthpiece.
“Yeoboseyo?” She spoke again.
“Let’s meet.” The person from the other side of the call finally spoke.
Slowly and steadily, she dropped the wineglass in her hand on the stool. She wouldn’t mistake that voice for another in the world.
“Okay,” was her short reply.
After the call dropped, she received a message stating where she was going to meet up with the caller.
She stood up on her feet, carried her bag, headed out of the villa.
In no time, she arrived at her destination, parked her car where the caller had instructed her to and waited patiently for the person she was there for.
After a few minutes, the door to the passenger’s side of Danielle’s car opened and a man stepped in.
“Long time no see, Danielle Chi,” Anderson smirked and removed the shade he had on.
Danielle gritted her teeth. “What do you want from me?”
He chortled. “Is that how you greet the person you are just seeing after some months?”
“Whatever, Anderson. Why are you here? You know we shouldn’t be seen together.” She whispered.
“…” Anderson twitched his lips to the sides and clicked his tongue.
After a couple of seconds, he spoke up. “I came to confirm something.”
She arched one of her brows, “and what’s that?”
“Is it true that Joel is finally in love with someone?” He asked.
Her body grew static as soon as she heard the question.
Anderson snickered at her reaction. “Calm down, honey. Even if everybody doesn’t know that Joel has never loved you, I do.”
“I-I d-don’t know wh-what you are talking about.” She managed to blurt out.
He let out a chuckle and gazed into her eyes. “Don’t joke with me, Danielle. Hajima.”
He scoffed and looked away. “Tell me.”
She trembled slightly and nodded her head. “Yes.”
Danielle knew he was a very dangerous man. If no one else knew, she did. And she knew not to joke with him when he was serious.
Anderson grinned. “Hm…”
“What’s her name?” He asked.
Danielle knew who he was referring to and quickly replied, “Emily.”
A side of his mouth curled up in a smirk. “So, it’s true.”
She let out a small smile, “well, I’m going to get rid of her in a few hours.”
He arched up his brows and hastily turned his head in Danielle’s direction. “Mbo?”
“Nde. She’s becoming a pain in the ass. My ass.” She replied with a straight face.
Anderson didn’t remove his gaze on Danielle as he tried to assimilate what she had said. He scoffed, looked away brief moment; and almost immediately, he turned back towards her, lurched forward, grabbed her by her neck, in a straggling manner.
“Listen carefully Elle, if anything happens to Emily, I mean if you terminate my already excellent plans, I’ll send you to an early grave!” He threatened hoarsely.
He wrapped his hand tighter around her neck for three seconds and after a few seconds, he removed his hand and brought it to his lap.
Danielle’s eyes had become watery, she almost got choked to death. She coughed incessantly, her left hand on her chest and her right on her stomach.
Chills ran down her spine and her breathing hitched.
“Do you understand?” Anderson thundered furiously.
She coughed. “Y-ye-yes.”
He nodded his head and looked away.
“How is Evelyn?” She managed to ask after a while.
“Good.” He replied.
“The letters, are you sending them to Noah as I ordered?” He asked in turn.
“Nde. But he is making no move to resign.” She lied.
Anderson smiled and nodded his head. “That’s because he is faithful to his master. He is a faithful dog.”
“Time will tell, though. By the time I’m through with the Manchesters…” His voice trailed off and he scoffed.

Emily waved her hand at her personal assistant as she stepped out of the broadcasting industry. “Annyeon!”
The day had been superb and stress-free. She had made up with her sunbae and had had a nice time with her manager and also her PA.
It was already nightfall, and it was time to call it a day. Besides, there was no work for her the next day since it was EW’s anniversary.
She yawned as she unlocked her car.
“Ahhhh!” She let out a shriek at the sight of what she saw.
Her car keys fell off her hand.
Stone smiled at Emily, sitting in the driver’s seat in her car.
“…” She blinked her eyes rapidly.
How the guy calling her future madam got in her car, she didn’t know.
He grinned. “Don’t be scared, Future Madam. Boss ordered me to drive out of the industry.”
She scrutinized the guy in her car with total disapproval written on her face. She was sure he was there to kidnap her.
Midway through her thoughts, her phone rang in her bag. She brought out the phone and checked the caller ID, Arrogant CEO- She always forgot to change the name she saved her boyfriend’s number with.
“Yeoboseyo,” She muttered silently as soon as she picked the call.
“It’s safe. Let him drive you.” Joel’s assuring words calmed her down.
She twitched her lips as she gazed at the guy in her car, who was flashing his teeth at her.
Slowly, she nodded her head, picked up the key that fell on the ground, and handed it over to him.
Hastily, Stone stepped out of the car and opened the backseat door for his Madam to step into the car.
“…” Mutely, Emily bowed gratefully and stepped in the backseat.
Stone closed the door, got in the driver’s side, and drove out of EWEI.
After a few seconds, Stone stopped the car by the roadside.
“Future Ma’am, Boss is waiting for you in that car.” He pointed at the car parked in front of them.
Emily tilted her head to the side and nodded her head.
“Kamsahamnida.” She murmured and stepped out of the car.
Stone smiled and drove off.
Emily heaved a sigh and walked towards the car the weird guy pointed to. She rapped lightly on the window and a second later, the door flew open.
“Ah,” She let out a soft groan when the door hit on the forehead.
She pouted her lips and got into the car.
Joel clicked his tongue as he watched her sit. “When will you stop being clumsy?”
He smirked, pulling her closer to him. He placed two of his fingers on her forehead and rubbed on her forehead.
“Ahhh…” She whined.
He rolled his eyes. “Yah, I’m not even rubbing it that much.”
He twitched his lips and then pulled her into a hug.
“Mianhae.” He patted her back sweetly.
Her mouth curled up in a cute smile.
“Kumawo.” She mouthed.
Joel broke away from the hug and gazed into her eyes. He trailed his eyes down to her lips and slowly lowered his head to hers. When their mouths were a few inches away from each other,
“Ntin!” Emily sneezed.
Joel hastily withdrew his head and looked away. He sucked in his lips and looked out through the window.
