As his best friend, that night, Vincent had told Joel in their third year in high school that he was in love with Danielle and that he had been in love with her since they were freshmen in high school.
Joel had told him to confess his feelings for Danielle to her that night and like he was told to, Vincent had dressed up and headed to Danielle’s apartment to confess his feelings for her to her but only to get there and meet his crush and best friend making out on a couch.
“Vincent, aren’t you going to saying something?” Danielle sniffed.
Vincent opened his eyes and twitched his lips as he was brought back to the present.
“I need your help, Oppa.” Danielle pouted her mouth.
“What do you want me to do Elle?” Vincent asked silently.
Danielle smiled and walked over to the armchair Vincent was sitting in. She sat on Vincent’s lap and wrapped her arms around his neck.
“We only need to get rid of that girl.” Danielle smiled sweetly.
“You can do it, Vincent.” She tilted Vincent’s head up and stared into his face.
Vincent sighed and looked away. She was using him again like she always did; making him take care of her mess.
“You love me right? And you don’t want to see me get hurt right? Hun, hun?” Danielle sobbed silently.
“Oppa, don’t you love me anymore? hun? hun?” Tears streamed down Danielle’s cheeks rapidly.
Vincent sighed as he watched the girl on his lap sob. He took out a handkerchief from his pocket and dabbed Danielle’s face with it.
Thinking about the fact that he knew the girl Joel had fallen in love with, Vincent wasn’t so sure he could do what Danielle had just told him to do.
Emily was a sweet girl and he liked her…
Although he had used her to get back at Joel the other night; he was deeply sorry for that.
But, it was Danielle-the love of his life-that needed him, to get rid of Emily.
He would do anything for Danielle, even if it meant putting his life on the line.
“It’s okay. I’ll take care of her.” Vincent smiled as he stroked Danielle’s hair.
“Huh? Jinjja, Oppa?? Hun? hun?” Danielle’s lips curled up in a cute smile.
“Ahh, Oppa, kumawoyo,” she wrapped her arms around Vincent and hugged him tightly.
“Hajiman, Oppa,” Danielle pursed her lips.
“Mwo?” Vincent arched up his brows.
“We need to be fast about it.” Danielle twitched her lips
“Arasso.” Vincent nodded his head.
“Awwwn…” Danielle squeaked happily and placed her head on Vincent’s chest.
“Kumawo.” She smiled.
“Uhn.” Vincent replied in a nasal voice.

“Top what did you just say?” Stephanie couldn’t believe her ears.
“Top 10.” Nancy pouted her lips.
“Mbo?!” Stephanie opened her mouth ajar.
“Eotte..” she dried up as she stared at her personal assistant.
“She got the number ten?” Stephanie scoffed.
If care was not taken, that Emily girl would be a pain in her ass.. when did she even join the industry-tenth best broadcaster? Stephanie shook her head. She needed to get rid of the girl even faster.
“What do we do now?” Carmen asked calmly.
“Just shut it! If you hadn’t told me to tell EWEI to increase my pay, will that girl be here?!” Stephanie thundered angrily.
Carmen suddenly went dumb; why was she blaming it on her?-she scowled.
Why had she not refused the suggestion back then…
“The CEO’s documentary is our only chance of getting rid of her. I know the CEO will never give in to her.” Stephanie smirked.
She was very sure the CEO was not going to do the stupid documentary with Emily and that meant, Emily was going to leave EWEI. Very good.
Stephanie smiled.
??? E C S T A S Y ???
“Omma..” Rachel sighed.
“That wench? Tenth best broadcaster? Unbelievable!” Hye Ri spat.
“Omma, what do I do? I can’t continue to watch her like this.” Rachel was on the verge of tears.
She had worked so hard but she was still just a minor broadcaster in the industry. Did that mean her efforts were all a waste?-no way!
“My child, you don’t need to be scared. The CEO will never agree to do that documentary.” Hye Ri consoled.
“Don’t worry hun? You will definitely become Empire World’s madam.” She grinned mischievously.
Rachel calmed down a bit mum was actually right; there was no way the CEO was going to agree to have the documentary about him, done. She didn’t need to be scared.
Rachel smiled and heaved a sigh of relief.
But there was still something she was yet to know-how Emily had gotten into the industry was mysterious-she was definitely going to find out who was behind her gullible sister.
Rachel smirked as she stared into space. She knew her sister’s weak point, she knew how to get her talking whenever she wanted. ALCOHOL.
???★★★???★★???★★★???
Emily huffed as she switched off the rechargeable fan for the umpteenth time.
She didn’t know if she was dreaming or not .. the previous night when the CEO had told her to go out on a date with him, she had thought he was joking but then, this afternoon he had rephrased his request, “BE HIS WOMAN”
“Ahhhhhh…” Emily squeaked.
But then, she didn’t reply to him. Even though she had always dreamt of being his woman, she was still scared.
Emily looked up at the wall clock, 11:30 pm.
She switched on the rechargeable lamp again and placed it over her face.
“Ahhhhahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!” the fan feathered her face gently as she singsongs into the fan.
Emily switched off the fan again and looked up at the ceiling. The CEO’s request, she didn’t know whether to say yes or say no. If she told him no, he wouldn’t do the documentary and if she told him yes, he would.
“Aishhh! that arrogant bastard!” Emily clicked her tongue.
She propped up her cheek on her hand and smiled. She was going to become Empire World’s madam.
? E C S T A S Y ?
Joel folded his hands in his laps as he sat on his bed, his back propped up against the headboard.
To say he was nervous was an understatement, he was extremely nervous.
He didn’t want to get rejected by Emily, he wasn’t sure what her response would be. And for the first time in his life, the CEO prayed, he prayed to get a yes from Emily.
He was madly in love with her and even though he knew she was working with his enemy, he still loved her and wouldn’t let her go.

“Good morning oppa.” Emily smiled as she walked into the lounge with Little Pumpkin beside her.
It was the weekend already and she had decided to take Little Pumpkin out.
“Mor…” Michael dried up immediately his eyes fell on Little Pumpkin.
Little Pumpkin was dressed in dark blue pants and a white shirt. He had sunglasses on and was looking perfectly handsome.
“Uhn?… kiddo!” Joel ruffled Little Pumpkin’s hair playfully as he walked past him to sit next to Michael.
“Errr… Little Pumpkin who got you those clothes?” Michael asked after he found his voice.
“I did. Wae?.. Oppa don’t you like it?” Emily frowned.
“Uwa!.. Ani… Gwenchana.” Michael grinned.
There was no doubt his son looked charming in the outfit.
“Hajiman, where are you guys going to?” Michael furrowed his brows.
“Huh? We are going out.” Emily grinned.
“Eodiseo?” Joel sneered.
(A/N: eodiseo means where/from where. In Joel’s case means where)
“Hmm, well I don’t know yet.” Emily shrugged her shoulders.
“Hajiman… why are you wearing matching outfits?” Joel raised his brows.
Michael furrowed his brows as he stared at Emily, that was true-the duo were rocking matching outfits.
Emily was also dressed in a white sweater and dark blue pants also had sunglasses on.
Joel pressed his lips in a thin line, they looked like a mother and son in the outfits. If he let them go like that, people will think she was a single mother and some stupid men would definitely try to approach Emily.
Joel swallowed the lump in his throat and turned to look at his brother.
“Hyungnim I’m taking a day off today.” He smiled and patted his brother’s lap before going up the stairway.
“It’s my day off today too, and it will be soooooo boring if I stay all in this house… Ao, I’m going with you guys.” Michael grinned and stood up on his feet before heading to his room.
Little Pumpkin sneered puffily as he stared at the two retreating forms. They were spoiling his date with his pretty noona! He pouted his lips.
But Little Pumpkin didn’t have a choice.
After a short while, the two brothers walked back into the lounge. They were wearing matching outfits with Emily and Little Pumpkin with sunglasses on their eyes.
“Hyung!” Joel yelled as he stared at his brother’s outfit.
“Wae?” Michael sneered.
“Why are you wearing matching outfits with us?” Joel pouted his lips.
“What do you mean?… I’m wearing matching outfits with my son.. have you forgotten Little Pumpkin is my son?” Michael sneered.
“Deo! Who are you wearing matching outfits with?” He twitched his lips.
“Na?” Joel gulped.
“Well… Eerr… Little Pumpkin… Little Pumpkin is my nephew, remember? I’m wearing matching outfits with my nephew.” He stuttered.
“Little Pumpkin, kaja.” He took Little Pumpkin by his wrist and led him out of the lounge.
Emily snickered as she walked behind them with Michael.
“Ahh, that reminds me,” Emily hastily turned back and headed to the kitchen.
“Ahjuma please the lunchboxes I prepared, where are they?” She asked the head of maids as soon as she entered the kitchen.
(A/N: ahjuma is the formal way of saying aunty)
“They are in your car.” the head of the maids smiled.
“Ahh.. kumawoyo.” Emily bobbed respectfully.
