Donald and Helen immediately looked at Abbie when they heard this, but she just lowered her head sheepishly. Donald softened his voice and said, “It’s okay, you can tell us anything. We are your family, so you don’t have to feel burdened.”
These words comforted Abbie greatly. “I didn’t lose my memory… no, I lost it in the past, but I regained all my memories.”
Richard was not surprised since he already knew the truth, but Donald and Helen were astonished. “When did you remember everything?”
“When I was in the United States.”
“Why didn’t you contact us?”
“I wanted to, but Leonard… he used Emma to threaten me and I was worried that Emma would be hurt.”

Abbie noticed it because she knew Richard very well. How could he be indifferent if he knew that Leonard was threatening her? So, she immediately said, “Richard, I know that Leonard is not a good person and I’m very clear that he has ulterior motives when he saved me. However, I wouldn’t be alive right now if it weren’t for him. Besides, Leonard helped me restore my memory as well. Even if he has made a huge mistake, please don’t deal with him so harshly.”
Donald was also very angry when he heard that Leonard had threatened Abbie. However, he slowly nodded after he listened to her and said, “That’s true. No matter how unreasonable Leonard is, he really saved Abbie’s life. We can’t scheme against him.”
