Camila rushed in and began interrogating him, “Why did you hide what happned to Casper from us?”
His son also asked, “Dad, is it true true? Is he really infertile?”
Francis wanted to keep this a secret for a while longer, but he didn’t expect that his wife and son would find out about it.
There was no need for him to hide it anymore since they already knew about it, so he sighed and nodded.
“How could this happen? Why would he become like this?”
Camila lost her balance and her son immediately reached out to hold her. She glared at Francis angrily. “Why did you do this? Why!?”
“I didn’t want this to happen to Casper either.”
“Weren’t you the one who schemed against Michael first and cause Casper to end up like this?” Camila glared at Francis.
Francis defended himself. “I didn’t expect Michael to know about my intentions and I didn’t expect him to be so vicious! I was careless, but I will definitely avenge Casper.”
“You b*stard! Things have already ended up like this, yet you’re still denying it and blaming it on others. How can you take revenge for him? Tell me! Are you planning to send our entire family to their deaths?”
Camila really wanted to stab him in the chest. “How can you still do something like that at your age? Have you lost your mind!? You’ve always been so egoistical, but let me tell you that your era is over and you can’t do whatever you want anymore. I don’t care if you’re done for, but why are you trying to drag all of us down with you?”
Francis was embarrassed and annoyed by Camila’s words. “Who said that my time is over? I was just at a loss, but I will definitely come back. When that time comes, William and Michael will be done for!”
“Do you think you have the ability to do that? All right, I won’t care about what you want to do. Just tell me what you’re going to do with Casper now!”
“I’ve asked the doctor and he told me that there’s nothing he can do!” Francis sighed.
“You have to think of something. I only have one grandson and I’m not hoping for you to take revenge, I just want my grandson to be normal again.”
“Do you think I don’t want that? I was willing to do anything to help him recover, but the doctor said that it was impossible.”
“So this is the end of the Gurney family?” Camila’s face was pale. Her granddaughter was in prison, her grandson had become infertile, and she had lost her company as well. What was going on?
“Who said that we’re done for? I’ve thought about it. Since there’s no way to cure Casper, I’ll just let them have another child.”
“What are you talking about? Do you know how old they are?”
“Some people can still have children in their 80s, and they’re not even 60 years old. It shouldn’t be a problem for them to have children.” Francis looked at his son. “You should discuss this with Casper’s mother. If she can’t give birth, ask them to do an IVF! Anyway, I’ll make sure that the Gurney family will live on no matter what!”
“Dad, it’s impossible for us to have another child just like that. Casper’s mother is sick, so she can’t get pregnant anymore.”

Francis heard a loud noise outside just as he finished speaking. He was stunned for a moment before he asked sternly, “Who is eavesdropping at the door?”
He quickly went to open the door, but it was pushed open forcefully. Casper was holding his mother, who had turned completely pale. As he pushed the door open fiercely, he almost knocked Francis down as well.

Francis had never known how it felt like to be beaten up like this and he cried out in pain as Casper continued to hit him.
After some time, his son came to separate Casper from him. Even so, Francis was already covered in bruises all over his body.
He cursed angrily, “D*mn it, you heartless b*stard! How dare you hit your grandfather?”
Casper scolded him, “You’re just a good-for-nothing and I’ll definitely kill you if I have the chance. Just you wait!”
Casper’s mother’s eyes were cold as she looked at her father-in-law’s bruised face. Her son had become like this and her daughter had been sent to prison. Even so, her parents-in-law were planning for her to give birth to even more children. Who could she and her children possibly rely on in the future?
Of course, she couldn’t count on her husband now. She had to find another way so she and her children could survive.
Just as Azalea had left the hospital with her child yesterday, Francis suddenly called her and harshly berated Azalea for being heartless. He had even said that his plan had failed all because of Azalea and that he wanted her gone from his sight. Otherwise, he would make her suffer.
Azalea hung up the phone resentfully after that. She had originally hoped that Francis would take care of her because she was his daughter, but now it seemed that it was completely impossible.
She had no place to go, so she had to find a hotel to stay with her child. Since she didn’t have a nanny to help her take care of her child, she had to try her best to take on the job. She was so busy because she had to prepare milk powder, change her child’s diapers, and shower him as well.
Azalea couldn’t sleep well that night, but she was woken up early in the morning by her child’s cries. After she was done helping her child settle down, she sat by the bed in a dishevelled state while she began to think about what she should do in the future.
