Michael’s gaze fell on Leonard’s arm, which Abbie was holding, and he didn’t look away for a long time.
Azalea saw everything clearly and said with a charming smile, “Leonard and Abbie must love each other very much!”
“If you don’t know what to say, then keep quiet,” Michael said harshly and walked away. Azalea was embarrassed as Michael had scolded her in front of the driver and the nanny.
She thought that Michael would not humiliate her out of the house, but she didn’t expect that he was no different from before. Needless to say, Michael was still thinking about Abbie. She gritted her teeth secretly and followed Michael.
Leonard brought Abbie into a private room on the left side of the second floor with Emma in his arms. His eyes were fixed on Abbie this whole time.
Abbie noticed this and took over Emma from Leonard’s hands. “Just now, Michael was staring at Emma. He wouldn’t suspect anything, would he?”
“No, he won’t. Emma is my child. He won’t be able to guess it no matter what.”
Abbie grunted with anger on her face. “Didn’t you say that you would help me deal with Michael and Azalea? Why haven’t you taken any action yet? It’s hard for me to hold my anger in when those two people show off in front of me.”
After Leonard returned, he did not have the time or energy to think about how to deal with Michael and Azalea as many things had happened. When Abbie mentioned it, he immediately lied and said, “I’m working on it. Don’t worry, I’ll definitely help you get your revenge!”
Abbie knew that Leonard was paltering with her. “I’ve already dealt with that b*tch, Azalea last time. I haven’t done anything to Michael yet. You’d better arrange for someone to beat him up first. Make sure he can’t get out of bed for months.”
“Alright, I’ll find a chance to do it.” Leonard nodded. “Abbie, what do you want to eat?”
“Anything! I’ll have whatever. I’ll hold Emma so you can order.” Abbie took Emma from Leonard’s arms. Emma’s small mouth cracked open into a smile as she saw her mother.
After playing with her for a while, Emma grabbed Abbie’s finger and began to suck it. It seemed like she was hungry.
Abbie immediately asked the nanny to take the formula powder from the bag and make a bottle.
Emma was so hungry that she ate in a hurry. Abbie patted her back gently while Leonard looked at her as he ordered. “I heard that Michael and Francis have been working together recently and have made quite a lot of money.”
“So?” Abbie asked.
“Francis values Michael very much and has increased the investment. The amount of money is huge. I feel that something is wrong.”
“What’s wrong?”
“Michael is earning his profits at a shocking speed. If he continues on like this, Michael’s assets will reach an extremely shocking number in a year.”
“Isn’t that good? If he makes a lot of money, it’ll be more convenient for us.” Abbie sneered.
“When you find a way to get rid of him, what was his will be ours!”
Leonard was in a good mood after hearing Abbie’s words. “I hope everything will go as planned!”
Michael watched Leonard take Abbie into the first room on the left side of the second floor and entered the room next door gloomily.
Azalea didn’t come in until a while later. Seeing Michael order with a gloomy face, she didn’t feel good either.
If they hadn’t met Abbie, she would have been talking and laughing with Michael now.
Azalea’s heart was filled with hatred for Abbie.
She hadn’t taken revenge for what Abbie had done to her last time, and she had been terribly humiliated today. How could she bear it?
She had to find an opportunity to provoke Abbie. Azalea thought about this as she stood up and left the room with the child in her arms.
When she walked out of the room, she saw Abbie walking out of the other room too. Abbie went to the bathroom, and Azalea immediately followed her with the child in her arms.
Just as Abbie entered the washroom, Azalea followed closely behind her with the child.
Seeing that Abbie was washing his hands, Azalea stood beside Abbie with the child in her arms. She said proudly, “My baby looks like Michael, right?”
Abbie didn’t say anything but glanced at the child in Azalea’s hand. The child looked clueless, and his eyes were dull. Abbie’s first feeling was that there was something wrong with the child.
Abbie sneered. Azalea was annoyed when she saw this. “What are you laughing at? I’m telling you, Michael’s grandfather and his parents like this child a lot. His grandfather said that he would give all the shares in his hand to the baby and that he will be the heir of the Davis family in the future!”
Abbie sneered again at this. Seeing that Abbie wasn’t affected at all, Azalea was angry and said viciously, “I had thought you had become someone powerful and untouchable, but I didn’t expect that you had found some random man with a child in the end! Didn’t you say that men can’t be shared, just like how toothbrushes can’t too? What’s the point of finding a man that was already used? Isn’t that going against your beliefs?”
Before Abbie could retort, the child in Azalea’s arms opened his mouth suddenly and spit out a mouthful of milk. Azalea was beautifully dressed and did not expect the child to vomit. The child threw up on himself, and naturally, Azalea’s clothes were not spared either.
Seeing that her clothes were dirty, Azalea’s face darkened as she screamed for the nanny.
When the nanny heard Azalea’s cry, she immediately came over. Azalea handed the child to the nanny in disgust and took some tissues to wipe her clothes.
The nanny held the child in her arms and patted him gently. After the child vomited again, he started to twitch uncontrollably. The nanny noticed that something was wrong and said anxiously, “Miss Clark, the child seems to be sick!”
Azalea let out a cry and looked at the child in the nanny’s hands in panic. “What’s going on? Hurry up! Call Michael!”
Michael heard the scream and came out of the private room. Looking at the child who was twitching in the nanny’s arms with a livid face, Michael was also shocked. “Send him to the hospital! Hurry!”
The child was sent to the hospital in an emergency, and the doctor was attending to him immediately. Azalea looked lost and helpless. “What should we do? What’s going on? He was fine when we came out. Michael, is the baby going to be okay?”
As she spoke, she leaned on Michael and wanted to cry in his arms.
How could Michael let Azalea lean on him? He moved further away to the side as if he was trying to avoid something dirty. Azalea was lost in her acting and she had thought that since Michael had agreed to sleep in the same bed as her, he would not refuse her this time. Therefore, she fell on Michael without balancing herself.
After being quickly avoided by Michael, she couldn’t stand still and didn’t have anything to grab onto, so she fell to the ground with a loud thud.
The assistant and driver, who were standing next to them, were all shocked by this. The nanny hurried forward to help Azalea up.
Azalea fell so heavily that her acting had turned into real cries. Michael looked innocent and said, “Why are you so careless? You’re really troublesome!”
Azalea was upset deep down when Michael scolded her, and her fake cries turned into real ones.
After waiting for some time, the door of the emergency room opened and the doctor came out.
Michael stepped forward and asked, “How is he?”
The doctor took off his gloves and said, “He’s alright now. Has he been like this before? It’s not easy to cure epilepsy. You must be careful in the future.”
Azalea had been crying, but when she heard this, she forgot the pain and tears. She lost her composure and asked in a shrill voice, “What did you say?”
