So, Jacqueline took the pendant and went to find Bobby according to Evelyn’s instructions, but was stopped by the security guards at the entrance of the Wolf Group.
Jacqueline had no choice but to wait outside the Wolf Group, as the guards did not let her in no matter what she said.
A few hours later, Bobby finally appeared at lunchtime.
Seeing that Bobby’s car was approaching, Jacqueline immediately stepped in front of it to stop it. Bobby looked at her with disgust. “What’s the matter?”
“I’m here to apologize!”

“If you don’t have money then why did you stop my car? Get out of my way!” Bobby was not polite at all.
Jacqueline was shocked by Bobby’s attitude. He was fierce, and she was really scared of him. She didn’t want to get close to Bobby at all, but now that she’d come this far, there was no other way. So, Jacqueline immediately began to cry.
“I came here today to tell you my true identity. I’m not Jacelyn. I’m Jacelyn’s sister, Jacqueline.”
“So what? Does it have anything to do with me?” Bobby asked coldly.
Bobby’s attitude was terrible, to which Jacqueline was a little dumbfounded. Didn’t Evelyn say that he would become a different person whenever he heard her sister’s name? Bobby’s attitude didn’t change at all, and instead, it was very harsh. What was going on?
Jacqueline couldn’t figure it out, but she continued to rub her eyes hard and managed to force some tears. She sobbed. “My sister… she’s gone… she gave me this when she left…”
Then, she took out the pendant she snatched from Jacelyn. When Bobby saw it, he was stunned. He reached out to take it from Jacqueline’s hand and looked at it as his tone softened. “Your sister gave this to you?”
“Yes… she gave it to me! My sister said that the person she loves gave this to her. She gave this pendant to me, hoping that I can be safe and happy.”
“Safe and happy, huh?” Bobby repeated softly, and the expression on his face softened a little.
Seeing that this was her chance, Jacqueline immediately added, “I didn’t mean to deceive you. I had no choice.”
“Really? Who forced you to pretend to be your sister?”
“It’s… it was me who had wishful thoughts. My family owes many debts, and I’ve always been chased around. That day, when I was in a panic and was hit by Mr. Howard’s car, I suddenly remembered you. My sister told me about you. I was out of my mind at that time, and I pretended to be my sister and approached you.”
“Did you pretend to be your sister to get me to pay for your debts?”
“No, I don’t want you to pay for me, but to fulfill my sister’s last words!”
Jacelyn sobbed with snot and tears, and in Bobby’s eyes, it was disgusting, so he didn’t say anything. However, Jacqueline continued to talk. “My sister left me a message when she died. She said that the person she was worried about the most was you. She hoped that you could be safe and happy. She wanted me to take care of you for her! Can you help me fulfill my sister’s wish?”
Bobby didn’t know what to say because Jacqueline’s performance was full of loopholes. When he was rescued by Jacelyn, he had already had a thorough understanding of Jacelyn’s family.
Jacelyn was the eldest in the family, with a younger sister and a younger brother. At that time, Bobby did not know that Jacelyn’s sister and Jacelyn were twins. He only knew that for some reason, Jacelyn’s parents did not like her since she was a child.
She came from an average family, and her parents thought that it was useless for girls to study, so they forced her to work and earn money after she graduated from middle school.
Jacelyn got into high school while working as she had really wanted to study, but her parents didn’t allow her to. They heard from an illegal agency that it was easy to earn money abroad, so they sent Jacelyn out of the country to work through that agency.
All the money she had earned from her hard work abroad had been taken away by her parents. Later, she met Frederick, who pitied her and sent her to the Gurney family to be Evelyn’s servant.
The Gurney family treated her well, but Evelyn had a bad temper, so Jacelyn had always been very careful when serving Evelyn. However, her parents thought that Jacelyn was living a good life in the Gurney family and continued to bleed her dry.
During the period when Bobby was rescued by Jacelyn, he often heard Jacelyn answering the phone. Through the phone, he could hear that Jacelyn’s parents did not have any affection for Jacelyn at all and they forced her to pay them money like some debt collector.

Bobby could see Jacelyn’s pain. She had no way to choose her family, but Bobby could see her disgust for her family deep in her heart too.
Her relationship with her family was not on good terms, so why would Jacelyn leave a message for Jacqueline to do such a thing? Wasn’t it obviously a made-up story?
So why was Evelyn arranging for Jacqueline to stay by his side?
Bobby stared at Jacqueline for a while. “Are you sure you want to take care of me on behalf of your sister?”
“I’m sure!”
“It’s not so easy to take care of me. I have a bad temper. The most important thing is that if you really want to take care of me, you have to do it according to my rules. Not anyone can accept my rules, so you have to think it through.”
“I’ve thought it through very clearly! I must fulfill my sister’s last wish!”

He got out of the car and walked quickly into Wolf Group and told William everything about Jacqueline’s performance. “It seems that Jacqueline wanted to pretend to be Jacelyn to get close to me in the first place. After she was discovered, she changed her plan. She must have a purpose. I accepted her request, so let’s see what she will do next.”
William trusted Bobby completely. “I’ll leave this to you. I believe you can handle it well. By the way, is Leonard making any moves?”
“I was about to tell you about this. Leonard hasn’t left his room until now. I found it strange and sent someone to check on him. Turns out that Leonard and his assistant weren’t in his room, and had only left two bodyguards behind.”
“He’s gone?” William looked surprised. There was no way for Leonard to leave right after returning not long ago. Something must have happened.
“Yes, I got someone to check the surveillance cameras. That guy went to the airport with his assistant in a hurry early this morning. I checked the flight, and turns out he returned to the States again.”
“What’s going on?” William was lost in thought.
“Something must have happened. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have flown back as soon as he arrived here. He left two bodyguards here, and they should be over soon.”
William really couldn’t figure out the reason behind Leonard’s actions. “We have to ask Jaxon about this matter.”
Then, William called Jaxon. “Leonard is back in America. The reason is unknown. Arrange for someone to investigate this.”
