In the Gurney family, Francis grinned when he saw how Azalea and Michael’s news were everywhere.
With the news going viral, the Davis family was in a dilemma. If he could provide Wayne with more benefits, this matter would be a done deal.
Azalea marrying Michael would tie the Davis and the Gurney family together perfectly, and he would have done his job for his wife and son.
As he thought of this, Francis immediately called Frederick over. “You’ve done well this time, but you need to up your game. Wayne likes Chinese calligraphy and painting. Go pick a good inkstone and some famous calligraphy works. I’ll visit him in a few days.”
Frederick obeyed as Francis asked him again, “If the Davis family agrees to let them get married, they will certainly make conditions. Do you think they will ask for dowry?”
Frederick replied, “Mr. Davis and Meadow are greedy people. They will always make things difficult for us unless we move them with irresistible conditions.”
“That means I have to prepare a dowry. It can’t be too shabby or too luxurious, otherwise, the people in our family will be unhappy. How difficult!”
Frederick did not answer this as Francis sighed and got up irritably and paced. “Where is Evelyn?”
“Miss Gurney is out with her friends.”

Francis motioned for Frederick to open the door of the study as Evelyn stomped on her high heels and stormed through the door. “Grandpa, why did you send that rotten thing to the Davis family? “What do you mean?” Francis was puzzled.
“Don’t you know? You asked that b*tch to go back to the Davis family with Meadow during the day, and the news of Michael marrying that b*tch came out immediately at night.
