William waved his hand and said, “The video will be released, but not the whole thing. I’ll release the edited version.”
“Why?”
“We’ll torture them slowly since it’s meaningless to destroy them in one blow. Besides…”
William paused for a moment and said, “Francis and Azalea have made such a big deal out of this. Don’t you want to get back at them and let them suffer the wrath of all these netizens?”
“Of course! Tell me about your plan.” Raymond knew that William was the best at dealing with people. Since William had decided to deal with Francis and Azalea, his scheme must be even larger than usual and the result would definitely be satisfying.
“It’s better to leave this matter to the police. We should hand over the first part of this video to the police who are handling the case and let them find the doctor who was bribed by Azalea. Then, the doctor would have to personally confirm that Azalea didn’t suffer from any major bleeding or lose consciousness. They had made all of this up.”
“What would happen after that?” Raymond asked.
“The police will definitely issue a notice to clarify the situation. According to my guess, Francis will definitely not give up and fall into our trap. He would then contact Richard and say that the Clark family has intervened in the investigation and bribed the police. We’ll let him cause even more trouble before uploading the next video.”
“Then we can destroy him in one blow by publicizing his relationship with Azalea?” Michael took over.
“Of course not! Why should I do things according to Azalea’s plan?”
William sneered and said, “Azalea is Francis’ illegitimate daughter. Seeing that he hasn’t officially acknowledged her status yet, what would you do if you were in her shoes?”
“Do you mean that Azalea deliberately dragged Francis down to make him acknowledge her status as his illegitimate daughter?”
“Of course! I won’t let Azalea’s plan succeed, so we won’t announce her ties with Francis. Instead, we will focus on creating a scandal between them.”

“Too what?” William looked at Raymond coldly.
Raymond had wanted to say that it was too vicious, but he smiled awkwardly when he saw William glaring at him. “You’re too amazing!”
William narrowed his eyes and smiled. “Let’s make a bet to see if Francis will openly acknowledge Azalea’s identity.”
Raymond said straightforwardly, “There’s no need for us to bet. Since Francis has been forced to the brink, he has no choice but to admit Azalea’s identity openly. Do you think he would let a scandal between him and Azalea to go viral?”
“Do you think that way as well?” William asked Michael.
Michael hesitated for a moment and nodded.
William said slowly, “Then let’s make a bet. I bet that Francis won’t admit it publicly and both of you would bet otherwise. Whoever loses will need to give 50 million.”
Both Raymond and Michael waved their hands when they heard William’s words. “We refuse. We’ll make the same choice as you.”
“You guys are so boring! I don’t want to play with you anymore!”
Meanwhile, it was late at night in America and no one could be seen on the roads as a luxury car sped along. Leonard sat in the back row as he scrolled through the domestic news on his phone.
He muttered to himself, “Interesting. I thought that Michael had some feelings for Abbie and he wouldn’t attack the Clark family for such an insignificant woman. I didn’t expect that he did the complete opposite. The feud between the two families will become even more intense now, so there’s no need to keep the child in Abbie’s belly.”
His assistant couldn’t help but interrupt, “Mr. Floyd, why didn’t William do anything when things have gotten to this point?”
“I’m also curious about this. Shouldn’t William make a move by now? They are all people he cares about, so he should have asked his public relations team to suppress the news on the Internet and mediate the situation. However, William hasn’t done anything yet. What on earth is he up to?”
The assistant said, “Maybe the Davis and the Clark family are ignoring him. William can’t stop them if they’re not willing to listen to him.”
“With his capability, he wouldn’t just sit by and watch. Unless… there is more to the story than what it seems.”
Leonard continued to read the news and the car stopped at the door of his mansion half an hour later. Then, the assistant got out of the car and opened the door for Leonard. However, he saw that Leonard didn’t move and he still had his eyes glued on the screen.
“Mr. Floyd, we’re here!” The assistant reminded him.
Leonard withdrew his gaze from his phone. “The police has just issued an announcement that Azalea’s attending doctor has admitted that he was bribed. He had forged Azalea’s condition when she was completely fine.”
“What does this mean? Is the situation going to be reversed?” The assistant asked in surprise.
“I don’t know, but I’m sure that William had made his move. He has no way to deal with Michael and Richard, so his easiest target would be Azalea.”
The assistant was a little disappointed. “William should be able to put an end to this matter.”
“It’s hard to say. I think most of the people on the Internet are still attacking the Clark family. A large number of netizens are saying that the Clark family bribed the police and interfered in the investigation. They’re requesting for the investigation to be done thoroughly.”
The assistant couldn’t figure it out. “Has the Davis family gone crazy? It’s alright if they fall out with Richard, but what benefits can they gain if they fall out with William?”
“The Davis family aren’t behind this. I misjudged the situation earlier and I’m pretty sure that someone else is causing all this trouble.” Leonard got out of the car. “Let’s wait and see what would happen tomorrow. If my judgment is correct, things should get exciting tomorrow.”
Meanwhile, Francis looked at the police announcement with a livid face in the Gurney family’s mansion. “D*mn it, how could the police think of asking the doctor about the situation? Why did the doctor betray us? Doesn’t he know that his career would be destroyed if he goes against us?”
Frederick also felt that what the doctor did was tantamount to suicide. Since no one would be willing to end their own life, the doctor must’ve been threatened by someone else.
“The Clark family must’ve played a part to make the situation unfavourable to us now. We’ve always supported Miss Clark before, but people have started to doubt her. A lot of news about her improper behaviour, gossip about her personal life, and her arrogant behaviour have been spread out. What should we do now?”
“Now the only way is to spread out the news that the Clark family is bribing the police and insist that the police are on their side. We have to declare that the doctor was forced to do so.”
“What if the police ask the hospital to check on Miss Clark and confirm that she is fine? That would mean that we’re provoking the police and they would definitely investigate the matter thoroughly.” Frederick reminded.
Francis sighed and said, “Let’s get someone to give Azalea some drugs to make her unconscious!”
“This… kind of drugs are harmful to the human body and Miss is still pregnant. Eating these drugs would definitely harm the fetus. Are you sure you want to do this?” Frederick reminded.
“There is no other way since things have already come to this point. Let’s make this arrangement first. It isn’t confirmed that the drug will be harmful to the fetus, right? By the way, don’t tell Azalea about this and just arrange for someone to do it. Let’s deal with it first.”
Frederick was silent for a moment because he didn’t quite understand Francis’ plan. How could he do this to his own daughter?
However, he was just a butler. Since he had no right to question Francis, he had no choice but to agree to it.
